  1. We can always claim Derek Fine off waivers?
  2. He's another TO. A great receiver at one time, but age and money have diminished their qualifications over time. Let him go, let Chan work with who he has.
  3. I can't believe they cut Bell, and left Lynch.
  4. Wait till after week 8, and we have endured losses to the rest of the AFC East.
  5. My wife and I drove down from Minneapolis to see the game and the Chiefs fans were very hospitable. We ran into quite a few Bills fans, and even met people that lived down the road where I grew up in Elma. By halftime, the only fans left in the stadium were Bills fans, and there were plenty of great seats. Nice stadium, and great people. No one throwing beer bottles like when the Bills visited the Humphrey Dome in Minneapolis. Vikings vans are mean. You should love it, it is a fun time.
  6. For MNF, the games will be rewound on Wednesday, at 0600.
  7. Foschi plays like the Lions player with the cast on his hands. He couldn't be worse if tried to. He doesn't run the routes well, drops critical catches and looks lost. Hardy tries, but doesn't appear really invested in the game. He doesn't leap or go back for catches. If it doesn't come exactly too him, he doesn't seem interested enough to fight for it. They should also dump Lynch, and keep Bell instead. Lynch doesn't play like he did in the first year he was with the Bills. I'm not sure if it's jealousy, or just lack of respect. He doesn't hit the holes when given the chance and appears hesitant, much like he did last year. Keep Bell and Jackson, and trade Lynch. Chambers needs to go too, how many times is that kid going to get penalized before he gets fired?
  8. Trent is looking marginally beter, but this still preseason. He is wooden, but he is learning to step into the pocket more often, something he never did the past two years. I hope he stays healthy, as it will be a long year watching Fitz throw interceptions.
  9. Another thing I noticed, Trent hasn't changed much this year. When heavy pressure is applied, he runs backwards. I'm hoping he will continue to improve, but I don't see anything different from the past two preseasons. I'm hoping Chan will work miracles.
  10. Except for the opening comment about Wings allegedly originating at the Anchor Bar. They seemed to be joking about it. But for the most part, they have been fairly balanced. They haven't shown the comparison of the offensive yards since the first quarter, when Buffalo had a deficit of -8 and they had 60.
  11. I understood why we had to listen to theesman brag about his team, they were in Washington. But the game is in BUFFALO, WTF? At least the announcers are more fair than theesman.
  12. Yeah, Cox came to mind as my front runner too.
  13. Tell me again why the game is at the Ralph and we have to put up with Cincy's tv announcers? This it ridiculous. First they delay the game by 48 hours, then they make us listen to the babble by the Cincy announcers. WTF?
  14. As soon as he learns to run upfield or cross field, but not backwards. Once he overcomes that negative yardage thing, he will be unbelievable.
  15. Compared to Special Teams coverage unit, defense looks good.
  16. Ellis Lankster James Hardy Jon Corto
  17. If it's any consolation, during the Restoring Honor Rally by Glenn Beck in Washington yesterday, the camera crew panned the audience and two guys were wearing Bills caps and shirts!
  18. Tim was dead on about Special Teams and how they have disintegrated since DeHaven returned.
  19. Agreed. Not that Lynch isn't a good runner, he just isn't a good person. People of character are the people you count on when the going gets rough. Lynch cares about himself and only himself. Let him go and get something decent in trade.
  20. Tim likes what he see's and discusses Spiller's style of running. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/17078/observations-from-bengals-at-bills
  21. Pretty good press about the game and Spiller's contributions. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/gametracker/recap/NFL_20100828_CIN@BUF
  22. I saw the same thing in the game. Miami didn't look all that sharp, and even more confused. If they are at that stage in the preseason, then perhaps the Bills aren't that bad as predicted. Today's game should provide evidence for the season and what can be expected out of the Bills. I felt the Jets looked bad too, but the Cheatriots were solid as usual.
