  1. Didn't realise how good of a 3/4 de he could be wow that was a clutch pick
  2. love shockey always have... might get us 2 games but still better then what we got at the position
  3. shun me for this opinion but I have a feeling that wont happen but Bob is from Erie... he has been living there for the past 2 years (not positive on that) ... always been a home guy ... buffalo is 90 minutes at most to OP... IMHO he is going to get signed with all incentives... no risk high reward any way you look at it... No one is looking to give sanders a pay day it's not going to happen ... buddy and co show him some love and I see it as a perfect fit
  4. got to chill with Bob last year during the super bowl in Erie(his hometown) super nice guy...he thought he was getting released by the colts then haha
  5. This is what espn insider had to say: Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner is set to hit free agency this offseason, and it's currently unclear if the team plans to extend his time in Western New York. As a result, Sal Maiorana of the Democrat and Chronicle examined the team's options at the position, given the availability of some other free agents at the position. In Maiorana's view, though the team has been speculatively linked to former Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders, signing him would be a mistake. Comparing Sanders to Whitner in major stat categories, he doesn't think that the injury-prone Sanders stacks up too well. In essence, the fact that Whitner was drafted eighth overall has worked against him, but from a pure value standpoint, he may actually be a better choice than Sanders. As for Oshiomogho Atogwe, Maiorana believes the former St. Louis Rams safety may make the best option of the three, if the salary demands are equal. [Editor's note: Howard Balzer of 101 ESPN reports that the Bills are interested]. Atogwe has stayed reasonably healthy and been a productive ball-hawk during his career thus far. As noted above, there's a chance that Whitner and the Bills will be able to extend their relationship, but we'll be able to tell how serious they are on that front by whether they host one of the other two prior to the March 4 deadline.
  6. except gholston gave a bunch of his money back and restructured his contract...he went to them, not vice versa.... to me thats worth keeping vernon...maybin should do the same to at least assure himself a spot on the practice squad
  7. Draft to beat the pats would be a good model don't ya think
  8. believe it or not but buffalo is his first choice... just got done with college football and all that comes with... If i'm davey.. I would eat up a good paying AHC/Defensive consultant or whatever you want to call it over a strait DC job anyday...but that's me
  9. Love singletary minus the whole cross and jesus saves bologna... don't think it would be attractive to him though
  10. In this division with amount of WR talent we face it's a need... helps free up others to make plays...I would at least make my best efforts to go get him
  11. That would be a great opportunity as coaches and having your GM and scouts available...looking forward to it!
  12. well said....entirely too soon to pass judgments on a first year DC in the first year of installing the 3-4 D with the wrong person-ell
  13. to me he has proven he can coach any player that has the ability to compete in the nfl no matter what round they were selected in or went undrafted... he has certainly cleaned up the roster getting rid of the fat.... so far pretty much everything they said they were going to do is being worked on... so right now im content and excited for the future... you can just see the attitude swing amongst the new and old players to this franchise... if they squeeze more draft picks out of trades I'll have high hopes for this team
  14. next years receiving corpsis looking mighty good...stevie roscoe nelson roosevelt lee
  15. wow smart move terps... i hate the acc so let him lose on em
  16. used to be a huge lee backer...but there are no more excuses for ****ty production
  17. He's been so streaky this year... he can't hold on to the ball if his life depended on it though getting real old to see every week
  18. Bell has been solid all year 1 sack given up and that was this past sunday... although i agree we need to draft lineman as top priority...Defensive side especially
  19. good point... can you put a price on leadership? if so how much does that cost
  20. I'm not too fond of religion but I can't bag on a player who was truly upset about letting his teammates down and expressed it to an imaginary man in grief... the whole thing creeps me out when something so simple becomes a national media frenzy
  21. still a top 10 tackler in the entire league this year regardless of downfield pursuit tackles..and he missed a few games... POZ is solid when he's used correctly
