  1. I'd like to see Bobby April coaching Poz.
  2. This is great news. Please no QB with our first pick.
  3. Absolutely. It's not just the fact that the Bills cannot stop the run either but also the fact that the offense poses zero threat. Why even put the ball in the air and risk costly turnovers? We lead the freaking league in interceptions! Bad coaching.
  4. The best players available should always play, IMO. This is professional football and everything you get as a player should be earned. This coaching staff is well aware of what they have at this point and if Brohm was a better option he'd be starting. Throwing him in there too early is a disservice to him and his teammates.
  5. I'm starting to see Nelson's potential and I share your excitement. Poz had a nice game today but his problems aren't going anywhere IMO. Bryan Scott had another really nice game as well. I completely agree with your Schobel analysis, the guy really makes a difference for us. Fitzpatrick did look bad and it's obvious he doesn't have long term starting potential. Our line is poor but the QBs are equally awful.
  6. Bryan Scott is playing his azz off for this team and I just wanted to recognize it again. He put in another solid performance this weekend and is really finishing a strong season at OLB. Scott had 10 solo tackles, a sack, and tipped a pass that resulted in an interception. I'm proud of our defense this season. It isn't the most talented group ever assembled but it has alot of gamers on it. Despite it's struggles against the run, the unit hasn't stopped playing hard. I hope the incoming regime recognizes the value that some of these scrappers have.
  7. We are researching MLBs available in the draft.
  8. Link? It's just not the case. NFL players today condition themselves everywhere but with the team.
  9. Whatever type of relationship Rusty and Rueben had does not counter the fact that most players condition themselves individually. They pay big money to work with advanced trainers at facilities that are specifically designed for pro-athletes. Sorry but the Rusty Jones thing is just a fantasy.
  10. I'm not worried one bit. Russ threw some snow tires on the Taurus a month ago.
  11. I agree. My point was that a team shouldn't be drafting a major project so high.
  12. They all sucked. Saying Ryan Fitzpatrick isn't much better than Edwards, is not exactly a ringing endorsement either. Who in their right mind would trade for any of these guys? Not a chance.
  13. Why don't we draft players that don't need a complete physical overhaul? If I put on 50 pounds of muscle and learned a few pass rush moves, I could be a DE.
  14. A strength and conditioning coach has little to do with a teams injury report. The game is a business and players have millions riding on their ability to stay healthy. A teams strength coach assists the team in many ways but overall conditioning is up to the individual. Alot of these guys have their own professionals on their payroll. Rusty Jones would not be writing up a routine for TO or anyone else. Jauron is too blame for alot of things but injuries are not one of them. The time spent in practice is certainly not for conditioning. The players come to camp in fantastic shape and work into game shape very quickly. This argument reminds me of the whole practicing inside theory. They are a bit of a reach IMO. Players that seem to get hurt IMO are usually prone to injuries, inferior in talent, or are undersized for their position. No great secret.
  15. Ingram and Gerhart both had good enough seasons to merit winning the award. Ingram really solidified his resume with that performance against Florida. Unfortunately, for Gerhart he didn't have another game to make a case. Gotta love the way these RBs played all season. It says alot about Suh that he got the invite as a DT as well.
  16. I agree. I have serious doubts about how much better the QB position can get this offseason.
  17. Good for Gill, nice to see him rewarded.
  18. Best wishes Lori for you and your loved ones.
  19. I like Gill alot too but his resume doesn't stack up to Harbough's. I would be a bit suprised if Harbough went anywhere though.
  20. We still have posters who can't identify the difference between highschool ball and the pros? I bet some of you think they should be running hills all week.
  21. Lynch and Parrish aren't running away from anybody. If anything they should throw Donte behind center, he's petrified of contact.
  22. I like Triche alot. I think he plays under control and sets a nice game tempo. He is built like an NBA player and is strong in traffic. Scoop is a solid playmaker. SU is forunate to have both, they compliment eachother well.
  23. The Beast should beat the hell out of eachother again this year. The physical play of that conference is unmatched. After the conference tourney, I always feel like Beast teams limp into the NCAA Championship.
  24. Imagine the yardage he could have compiled, if that obstruction wasn't breaking every stride.
  25. Florida isn't very good? What is this based on? They beat the number 2 team on the road and had beaten everybody else handidly until tonight. They will do just fine this year in a very tough conference. As for Syracuse, they are for real. This team is going to only get better.
