Probablyust her metabibolism. I am immunocompromised because of the kidney transplant but I got the flu and COVID shots 3 weeks ago. Arm wasn't even that sore as it was in the past. Checked with the transplant clinic to OK it. They said since I am post 6 months (at 10 months next week) I can get the shots as long as they are not live vaccines (they are not). Will be getting the RSV one just before Christmas. Got the shingles shot and pneumonia shot in Summer of '23.

Edrington (sp?) James of the colts was oe of the first to wear the long dreads in the 80s. Was tackled after a long run by the hair. Complained to the refs but no flag. Next game he had them under a do rag.

What hit Didn't see it or anything about the Jags game on NBC before the Bills. Was putting up and trimming the tree before the game.

For funny, nothing beat East Side Eddy on the John Otto show at night on WGR back in the 80s. If anyone wanted to learn a Buffalo Polish accent all you had to do was listen when he called in.

Well, I remember it was dark and 5 degrees when we were heading home.

It was maybe 3 years ago. Could have been a monday night. I think it was the week before we creamed NE in the playoffs

Was at the -20 degree wind chill game. Three layers of clothes, chemical hand warners, and newspaper (what's that?) on the seat and concrete for insulation. Another game we wore tyvek suits (brother worked at CECOS in NF then). Bad idea. Was warm but they keep the sweat inside. We were drenched by the 4th quarter. A few years ago, went to the Jets sunday night last game of the regular season. Was 5 degrees by end of game. Never again. Had trouble walking to Hammers lot from the scoreboard end of the stadium. Legs were so cold, didn't want to work. Never again. September or October games for me.

Didn't have Driver's Ed when I was in HS (71-75) but an English teacher did previously. His classroom looked out over the big lawn that extended up to Union Rd. in Cheektowaga. In the spring and fall when the windows wee open and you heard brakes squeal on Union, he would just say "Driver's Dread." Also, if he caught you chewing gum he would make you throw it out the window by saying "Go feed the snowbirds, sunshine." The lawn would babe covered with tons of seagulls. I had him for 1st period (Study Hall) and 3rd (English) one year. A gut in 1st was chewing gum and he said that. The same guy in 3rd was caught chewing gum again. He said, "What did you do ? Wrestle it back from him?" Algo had him for Senior English elective. Was ancient Mythology. He was going over the types we would review for the class. Egyptian. Greek, Norse etc. He got to Polish (which we did cover) an a girl started giggling. She was Polish and he said " Hey XXXski, want to hear a Polish myth?... You graduating." Nervous Guy on this board may remember him, Joe McHale. Just died a few years ago in his 90s.

I'm a PhD in Cell and Molecular biology. Ask me about anything related to that and I will talk all day in detail about it. Ask me about other sciences and I will give an informed opinion about those but will let you know that I am not educated in them. Ask me about engineering and I am still amazed they can build all those structures. Used to suscribe to National Geographic and Scientific American until about 12 years ago. That's when politics started creeping in. Tyson is an excellent communicator but is out of his league when he talks about anything besides astrophysics. I've seen him be very average about climate change or biology. Bill Nye is an Engineer/Stand-Up Comedian that did average at both.
