Off to the races!! Another great sign! As long as we don't get any paternalistic governors and local officials to get in the way, things are starting off much better than anyone could have possibly imagined. -

Pretty much mirrors the results of a discussion that I had with someone on this board (not you) over 6 weeks ago. They disagreed or were skeptical of this premise. -

One of the mods deleted one of my comments over there. Out of all the ignorant comments, one of mine that is based off of actual data gets deleted. Pathetic -
Very few people below the age of 40 have died. And the ones who have died have several comorbidities. The average age and profile of the person who has died of COVID 19 is 81 years old with 2.7 comorbidities. NFL teams have the money and resources to conduct daily testing. They can test the athletes every day before they enter into the facilities. The testing capacity has grown exponentially over the past couple months and testing capacity will continue to rise over the coming months. They can get it done.

I just chimed in on the Stadium wall. Judging by the opinions I have read there on COVID, I’m guessing they won’t like my opinion. lol -
Based off their age and health demographics the odds of one of the football players dying if they were to contract the virus would be less than 1 in 3000. The question is does the NFL have the will to allow data and the actual low risk to the virus poses to their health guide their decisions as opposed to being driven by media panic porn?

Keep in mind that there were a lot of elective surgeries that were postponed. Even though many are done on outpatient basis there are quite a few that require hospital admittance. -

I strong believe that there is pent up demand and people's finances reflect that. It's odd that during these times, more people have more money in their bank accounts than in any time in modern history. It's truly bizarre. My concern is how many businesses have permanently shuddered? And for me, that number will determine what sort of recovery we will have, whether it's V or Nike Swoosh. The snap back though is real. -

Is there a potential moral hazard here? Perhaps My views on the Fed and debt have shifted markedly and is definitely not aligned with the boards conservatives. -

Right, but the intended goal is for money to flow to these markets as well. This wasn't meant to be a "told you so". But more so that this is the direction we are headed. It's clear that they are entering into things that were unimaginable just a few months ago. It's more of a: - We're gonna do whatever it takes to repair this economy as quickly as we can by the means we have control over - -

Possible but not sure how likely. It all depends on the businesses that are permanently gone. If there are a sizable number of those, then those don't get replaced overnight. What Wells Fargo is describing wouldn't a V. As they don't expect 6% unemployment for another 18 months -

Lots of data coming in suggesting that the hole the economy is in may not have been as deep as once feared. This is an analysis that seems to be lacking out in the economic circles. The discussion is primarily revolved around the speed of the recovery, which of course is a very important component. However, there are other variables and the other variable is the depth of the hole that we are in. The Jobs numbers that came in this past month showed that we have about 10 million more jobs than where we feared we would be. Here is another good report. This is good stuff -

Yeah, he’s done really good work. The most in depth work that I have followed on Twitter. The other guys who I follow which do great work as well primarily just aggregate data. This guy aggregates the data compares it to other data and puts in formulas to come to conclusions. He’s been right with his predictions up to now every step of the way. He cuts through all the vacuous panic porn analysis that is out there. -
