I wouldn't TRADE for Dillon but might give him a look if he gets cut.

Yes, there is a difference between as what Beane says "To always look to upgrade the roster" and then going out of your way to make a trade.   The Running backs room is more than adequate at the moment but if Dillon were to be available after being cut, then you could consider him.

  2. It doesn't make any sense that there continues to be speculation about other RB's possibly joining the Bills.  This is the deepest RB backfield we've had in years.

Cook - Has lots of promise

    Harris - Proven quality RB

Latavius Murray - Continues to produce at a good level

Hines - Speedy, really good return guy who has shown the ability to play well

We are set at RB, there isn't a need.

  3.  I think Diggs is the type of player that things need to be going right for him to not make noise.  If for any reason the Bills season begins to go sideways - ooh boy!

This. The ONE part that I legit criticise Stef for is the storming out at the end of the Bengals game before the coaches had delivered their end of game speech. That is unprofessional and as emotional as he was he HAS to behave better than that. But whatever business Stef had with the team or individuals has been handled in house. He hasn't tweeted anything explicit or done critical interviews.

I mean who in their right mind would after a 13 win season?

  4. I’m genuinely excited to see what McD can do on the defense and what a year 2 Dorsey can do.

They both deserved the extension, this team with Josh Allen under this leadership will always be in the hunt.   They just got to get over that hump.

It took Andy Reid 11-12 seasons making the playoffs to win a SB.   He was known at one time for not being able to take a team all the way.

  5. I don't have a problem with his comment, he's said very flattering things of Josh which wouldn't contradict this statement.   It's possible that Josh may not be a finished product when it comes to leadership, he does have a friendly goofy nature and maybe he hasn't mastered the art of cracking the whip the way Brady has.

I sense that Josh is looking to take his game from a leadership role to another level this year.

80 yards a game puts him at #8 in the NFL last year.

In fact, only 5 players in NFL history have an 80 yard game or above average in their career.

    And you spelled “two” wrong.

    Nice job in this post.

Who were the QB's throwing to him last year?  If I'm not mistaken there were quite a few backups in the mix, all considering, 80 yards a game with a mish mash of backups isn't too shabby.

The guy still plays at a high level and undoubtedly would be a major upgrade to the team.

Who said Poona Ford was going to be the backup 1 tech?  Beane?

Poona Ford has played his best football over the outside shoulder of the guard..........which is Ed Oliver's position in the Bills D.......3T.

I've always viewed him as a penetrating 3T.

    He’ll play both

We don’t have to do this to ourselves.

The mental gymnastics to convince ourselves this player makes sense.

We know it’s not going to work. He’s too small.

Let’s grow up and admit that the Bills have a blind spot for this kind of player. The try hard, undersized, small school linebacker who plays a lot of Special Teams. Bills consistently take that guy 2-rounds

Milano when he was drafted was in the 220’s and last I remembered he made AP first team All Pro and has been a standout performer for the Bills.

    Your statement is categorically false.

Was reading some things about him and the key points I found interesting.

    - Excelled at Louisiana as a freshman - Freshman All American team

    - All sunbelt conference his sophomore and junior years

    - Wanted to take it to next level and goes to Florida and becomes consensus first team All American

    - Goes to Senior Bowl and has stand out performance

    - Did very well against Jalen Carter when he matched up against him

    - Had high pass and run blocking grades consistently throughout his collegiate career

    - Never gave up a single sack or QB knockdown his senior year with Florida against top SEC competition

    - Never gave up a sack in over 3000 snaps his entire collegiate career

    - Didn’t have a single penalty called against him at Florida his senior year

All this guy has ever done is been consistently very good everywhere he has gone.

Not only has he been a phenomenal college guard who has been very consistent anytime he steps on the field whether it was lower/mid level competition or the elite level (SEC) or the Senior Bowl, he has elite level Wingspan of the top 1 percentile and top 3 percentile hand size.

Dude is tough to get around which is why he has never given up a sack in his career.   On top of that he has given up only 1 QB hit in the last two years and never gave up a single QB hit at Florida in the SEC.

    Thats almost unheard of.

Apparently, he didn't run a 40 time at the combine b/c he had a back problem.

Does anyone know what sort of speed this guy has?

And is he 6'3" or 6'4"?  I see it as both all over the place.

On tape he looks fast, Simms seems to think he is in the 4.5’s.
