  1. very hard for this not be political.. just by the response. i rest my case
  2. i like them.. who knows really.. crossman had a solid unit in marrone's second year.. the other two.. again.. not complaining..
  3. i agree, still have lots of the old VHS tapes of the glory years, watch every few years.. .. and all 4 super bowls, which i have yet to watch..
  4. a dialect?? as far as your imitation of a caller to WGR? Curious.. enlighten me.. what dialect is that ?
  5. huh?? have no idea what you are talking about,.,. instead of being glib.. try making a point..
  6. its not about race , please stop with the deflection.. its about a kid that needs to grow up.. much like lots of college players.. race was only mentioned by me as a question..
  7. as i recall his uncle was an a-hole in public when he first came to buffalo.. people do mature.
  8. what a comment!.. just for sh%^&tz and grins , would say the same thing if kelly was african american? ,lets not have any compassion now.. just rush to judgement..
  9. for what it is worth, childress is very tight with the old "Coach" meaning Dickerson.. used to listen to him say he was like a son to him.. not sure of the connection, just remember him talking about him.
  10. well mini max was around 68, lucas was an original out of penn state who really never lived up to his rep in college.. i always liked mini max, but the teams of that era, (right after the home afl loss to the chiefs) were pretty much garbage as i am sure know. i remember johnny green.. wasnt aware of the color blindness, i think he was right after tommy o'connell?
  11. i am in the minority . but i think the NFL needs markets like buffalo, obviously green bay.. if you have teams in big "glamor" markets, the novelty wears off. watching games in domes, antiseptic fan base.. it may work for a while.. but the game is built on tradition.. .. and it will implode .. people will get sick of watching a "rollerball" type league .. but that is just MHO
  12. i am quite sure you are correct , im thinking 1965?
  13. absolutely! the game was usually played in late june as i recall.. saw lots of good ones.. most players that were selected usually played, didnt bow out.. then the college all star game in chicago was played in august..
  14. he is a relatively young one! i go back to richie lucas.. i am a friggin fossil!
  15. sucks.,.insulting.. its for ratings.
  16. totally agree about the ST's being pretty decent before rex (under crossman).. have no problem with crossman
  17. mcdermott is a philly guy and so is crossman.. crossman actually is from the area i currently reside.. perhaps it (the hire) is just based on a friendship
  18. i could be wrong , but wasnt frazier a candidate to be a H/C here a few years ago?
  19. i see that list and is a viable one the greedy owners can now bring into play.. take away vegas(raiders) , not sure if the others have the playpen suitable, outside of orlando and san antonio(which has the alamo dome which is probably close to be outdated by NFL standards, but always on the backburner) not sure of the rest.
  20. hopefully they will run out of cities to use as leverage.. outside of san antonio, and im sure im missing a few, but there cant be that many left unless they now use mexico city and london as pawns
  21. another well made point.. hopefully, it is coming full circle , like you said, lots to be said for the taxpayers for standing up to these arrogant, greedy pr-ks..
  22. i am probably older than you and feel exactly the way you do.. getting sick of the greed of the NFL..
