  1. No ... as there is no one with a jersey that says "EJ Manuel".
  2. This rank up there with "Sorry Jim we are going with Todd" ... Best decision ever!(NOT)
  3. Agreed! It pretty obvious he wasn't wanted by this coaching staff or the rumors would have have come out in the spring.
  4. Its hard the say you are keeping the best players and cut Fred. While there may be RBs with greater "upside" they haven't proven yet so how can they be the best players? Disappointing.
  5. Be a great back up for Wilson and maybe he can learn a thing or two about being a leader ... and a QB lol
  6. Without that pick six the fans would be calling for him to be in the QB conversation now lol. Seriously though ... the keep the ball on the ground the rest of the day and get the W if that pick six doesn't occur.
  7. A little revisionist history isn't it? Shananhan got there after he was already a bust and when he went to New England he didn't do anything there either.
  8. There seems to be a lot of talk about Cassel and the ground and pound approach. Ground and pound has more to do with who is carrying the Rock and who is blocking then who is handing it off. I am pretty EJ and TT can hand it off just as well as Cassel. The question is can both throw the intermediate/ short passes that are normally associated with that philosophy and do you need it. I think a team chooses G&P because of deficiencies and QB if you do not have them then I would think you change your game plan. Sticking with G&P just because you said you were going to at an opening press conference and disregarding the fact that might have entered the equation after the fact seems a little silly, no?
  9. EJ will be the report ... and 15% of the time I am right 100% of the time .... the Onion
  10. Your bias against EJ is based on his previous game play ... must be nice that Tyrod doesn't have that baggage.
  11. Complete opposite of EJ. EJ was benched and did what you want any player to do. RGIII did the complete opposite and I don't think he even sees how bad it is.
  12. Where are your concerns about the other QBs misses? I am fine with giving the reigns to TT(although I think its hard since the other two have starting experience). But saying that EJs one miss is a case of the "Yips" screams bias from my point of view.
  13. True tied record, but the Pats handed them the last game(still would have been the best without the win). I think the Oakland game is a tribute to his coaching acumen.
  14. I hear this a lot ... basically from the media. Can someone point to a preseason game where this was the case?
  15. As was putting him back in again in the 3rd qtr
  16. Not arguing who should start, but I think EJs two drives to start the game might have been better.
  17. I see what you are saying, if you are just using stats and not circumstances. Many of EJs drives were with an inferior OL where TT didn't have to overcome that. The question you have to ask yourself is what would EJs #s look like if he had the 1st team OL for all of his drives.
  18. This is interesting and going strictly by production, which it seems WGR ignores, EJ would be the starter without question: http://www.wgr550.com/Bills-QBs-have-put-in-their-best-work/21911851 This does not take into consideration all scoring drives which makes the contest a little closer between Manuel and TT, but EJ still holds the lead.
  19. Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that ... I was only curious so I could see the difference for comparision.
  20. Where are the bad throws from Cassel or the miss by Tyrod. Yes, but I do not think a receiver is anywhere close without that, which is an issue.
