  1. reddogblitz ... this is exactly the type of thinking Fred has had to deal with his whole career but by the FO. That is why he has felt dissed. Kelly I am not saying you are wrong just trying to follow up on the conversation reddogblitz and I are having
  2. I know ... only to have another person put in their place each time and it was not him. What exactly is it that you are arguing?
  3. I can't believe Whaley did this "Rogue" also, I believe that this is him trying to save face for Rex. The problem is there are two stories coming out of the building... we are going to keep the best 53 regardless of position and he was a cap casualty. I personally thing it was the wrong decision, but I also think they should have at least been honest as to why, especially when holding a news conference about the release. "We have younger players we believe can perform the role Fred played on the team and want to give them the opportunity" But done put out statements like Rex did today "We did everything we could to try and save him" ... no no you did not.
  4. Marshawn Lynch was the feature back in 2009 and CJ was drafted in 2010 to be the next feature back. Both got more money and status then he did ... I am not sure what you are trying to say? I think you are confirming what I wrote.
  5. He has. Marshawn, CJ, Shady. He was the most productive RB on the team for year and they never gave him the #1 nod.
  6. I didn't say I believed him. You that if you are going to go by what he says you should look at all the relevant verbiage ... and to answer your question NO!
  7. I like how people ignore the other part of that statement. He said they will keep the best 53 players regardless of position. Are you saying Simms is better than Cassel?
  8. The link was for reference to the quote. The quote was what I agreed with.
  9. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/columnist/roth/2015/08/31/rex-ryan-fumbled-letting-fred-jackson-go/71460372/ The above quote pretty much sums it up.
  10. No I am suggesting, I think as was reported, he wanted TT(even when he was in NY) ,he got TT and TT won the competition(I believe it was a legit comp.). We'll see what happens from there.
  11. Well Rex finally got his guy and was not beholden to anyone else. With this choice he can prove he in not a bad QB evaluator but he also can't hide behind Woody, Tannenbaum, or Idzik. I hope he is vindicated.
  12. I don't believe that ... I think it was Rex's decision.
  13. Based on what ... I understand they believe he gives them the best chance to win. But were there things we did not see?
  14. Interesting ... I wonder if anyone ask him about the TD passes EJ threw and how they compared? I am not upset by the decision I guess I would like to understand what the deciding factors were.
  15. As per WOF discussion ye Bills third-leading rusher all time behind Thurman Thomas and O.J. Simpson Yeah he makes it ... not even a question.
  16. I agree. I just thought that it was always a strange argument to make when discussing not naming a starter.
  17. They went on to start for other teams. No one is saying that Fred is the starter but he can be a solid contributor and would hardly be the reason the Bill's lose a game. If another team picks him up and he plays a good role there is no reason he couldn't do that on this team for another season.
  18. Oh boy ... that would mean we have to like him .... a little then? Funny, I was thinking the same thing when reading some of the comments in the "rb fred jackson released" thread. Perhaps his arguments with Whaley were actually about Fred and not the QB situation.
