Come Back Even Stronger: Reggie Ragland's Recovery

W T F Just an observation, is it just me or does Ragland look really small in that picture? Is he supposed to be a thumper? Those arms look like mine. Just saying.. -
Since 2013, this team is 36-19. How?
bobobonators replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills were actually 7th in TO differential in 2014 and 12th in 2013..so since 2013 the Bills have actually been pretty decent in TO differential. Hopefully ranking so high this season will continue and we can see some wins out of it. -

I agree about turnovers not being coachable. However, coaching philosophy plays a huge factor in how many turnovers you're going to have. Andy Reid loves to run the ball. Andy Reid knows Smith's limitations. Smith is the main reason the KC chiefs rank highly in TO differential, and that's as much a result of Reid's game plan than it is Smith not throwing picks (obviously Smith needs to perform). The Bills are 3rd this season and were 8th last season in TO differential. Mainly b/c TT doesn't turn the ball over. -

Boom, thanks JMC. Definitely a huge factor. -
Gilmore needs to go
bobobonators replied to offsides#76FredSmerlas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stephon Gilmore is a decent/good NFL CB. But in retrospect, for the 10th overall selection in the draft, there is little argument he has been a disappointment. He is not a shut-down corner. For that draft position, and for the money he'll demand (and I don't blame him, probably his last big pay day), he needs to be a shut-down corner. -

Pats trade Jamie Collins

I meant as an organization and as a fanbase. I can see BB being an arrogant prick, but he has earned that right if a player is not in-line with what he wants. Anyone find it ironic that he was shipped off to the Browns? From NFL royalty to NFL purgatory. The message is clear, but thats just my opinion. -

Thanks. Alex Smith has definitely found his happy safe zone in KC. It's just frustrating to see a team like KC that on paper is so similar to Buf succeed while Buf continues to float around .500 for eternity. -

Andy Reid inherited a 2-14 team his first season and they went 11-5. Followed by 9-7. Followed by 11-5. And now 5-2. Where was the talent in 2012 to go 2-14? The Bills had talent under Marrone and now have talent under Rex. The QB we couldnt win with went 10-6 his first season with the Jets. The chiefs have a game manager at QB. We have a game manager. The chiefs have great RB. We've had great RB. The Chiefs have 1 deep threat in Maclin we've had Sammy. They have Kelce we have Clay. Theyve had pass rushers we've had pass rushers. We have had talent during the same stretch. The way we have lost to the Chiefs every single year prior to this year in recent history is a microcosm of how similar yet different these orgs have been. We find ways to lose/hand games over more often than the Chiefs do. Why is my question? Bad luck? Bad coaching? Dumber players? All of the above? -

I think part of the Chiefs success has come down to their ridiculously good record vs teams that are less than .500. The w/l ratio was insane (I'll try and find the stat). We cant consistently beat the average/bad teams. I feel that comes down to coaching and fundamentals. -

Say what you will, but Andy Reid took a 2-14 KC team and made them an 11-5 playoff team the very next season. I like Rex - he's easy to like. But the differences between talent on NFL rosters is really minimal in my opinion (with the exception of a few QB's). It's amazing how different the Bills and Chiefs have been since 2013 with similar talent (Rex has only been the HC since 2015 so the comparison isn't so much directly to him, rather organizations). -

They destroyed the Texans last season. Lost by 7 vs Pats following round. Andy Reid is a heck of a HC..his career winning % is ridiculous. You can argue he's missing the hardware though.. -

Yup, the Chiefs. The Bills/Chiefs are amazingly similar in terms of strategy and overall talent in my opinion, but yet one team is able to continuously win and the other is not. hahaha..well I guess you can also argue the luck factor too...but a 3.5 year sample size is a pretty decent sample size and their wins are there. Yes, true. I'll look into that I don't have time now though. -
Since, 2013, only 4 teams have a better W/L record than this team in the entire NFL. Can you name that team? The following numbers will probably give it away: In 2013 they ranked 25th in passing offense; 25th in passing defense; 10th in rushing offense; 22nd in rushing defense. In 2014 they ranked 29th in passing offense; 2nd in passing defense; 10th in rushing offense; 28th in rushing defense. In 2015 they ranked 30th in passing offense; 9th in passing defense; 6th in rushing offense; 8th in rushing defense. So far in 2016 they rank 17th in passing offense; 14th in passing defense; 18th in rushing offense; 19th in rushing defense. How in the world can the above team be tied for the 5th best record in the NFL since 2013? Only the Patriots, Seahawks, Cardinals, and Denver have been better, and other than the Patriots, the other 3 haven't been much better during the regular season at least.

Clay has had 1 really good NFL season in what is now his 6th season (and he has played in 13 or more games every season). I agree that Clay is a bit underutilized. We paid for his 2013 season and it seems like we never intended to utilize him in that manner.

WEEK 8 - ALL 22 OLINE/ QB UNFORCED ERROR REVIEW
bobobonators replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As usual, thank you for doing this. I wasnt able to watch more than the first 5 minutes or so of the game. Seemed like the rain was affecting both the WR and the QB (at least for the Bills). I think what I take from your analysis is: players need to step up all around. Plays could have been made by the offense and they werent. -

Pats trade Jamie Collins
bobobonators replied to HumbleAndHungry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you overall. The Collins trade was just really perplexing. As a Bills fan Id be scratching my head at the move. Lets hope it comes back to bite them a bit. Their arrogance is starting to get annoying. -
Pats trade Jamie Collins
bobobonators replied to HumbleAndHungry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There may be something to the Collins trade though. Lets be real, for the Pats its super bowl or bust. Trading one of their best defemders for picks is highly telling. They couldve simply just let him walk and then bad mouth him afterwards..with another super bowl under their belt. Is getting a 3rd round pick more important than a super bowl run while brady is still QB? Obviously collins was not the main cog in their super bowl run but he was still a cog. -

Jamie Collins would rather play video games than watch football. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/why-patriots-traded-jamie-collins-to-browns-2016-11?client=safari Theres a reason why the Pats are so good. Moves like this. I wouldnt pay this guy. -

bobobonators replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ed denied saying that. We cant go on with that story as if its fact. So all 7 officials in a single game are out to get Cam? Really? I dont dislike Cam at all. Hes an asset to the NFL. Hes a star. I want to see the best players play. -
ILL TAKE IT!! You figure he plays after the Bye week? I mean is he even in shape??
