  1. I voted to retain Rex next season.
  2. There seems to be a lot of BS flying around in all directions re Rex. People are so quick to want to break a story that hasnt developed yet.
  3. Its amazing what a handful of trolls can do to a forum.
  4. Why the constant bickering amongst ourselves. This thread was supposed to be about Bills players making the pro bowl. Something positive.
  5. Maybe theyre all part of the CoT as well. Its the handful of diehard anti TT trolls on this board that are right. Everyone else is wrong.
  6. Tyrod has plenty of flaws, just like the large majority of QB's in this league. People love to build straw man arguments that if you favor TT it's b/c you think he's the "savior" or that TT is the best QB in the NFL. No, he's not. Neither is Alex Smith and they're going to the playoffs, again.
  7. It's like arguing with a box of rocks. How many starting QB's are there in the NFL? I just listed 15 QB's that he either has more TD's or is really damn close to, in direct response to the poster saying that Tyrod isn't carrying this offense at all. Well if Tyrod isn't carrying this offense, what are the other 15 QB's above doing? Nobody is saying he's elite. Nobody. Nobody is saying he's even in the top 10. Nobody. What people like me are saying is that he's the perfect fit for this offense. An offense that ranks top 10 in scoring for two years running. Get over yourself with that CoT bull ****.
  8. I haven't been around here for a couple of days, and the same nonsense is still going on. Tyrod has 20 TD's this season. McCoy has 13. Tyrod has the same amount, or more TD's than: Tannehill Dalton Russell Wilson Siemian Bradford Osweiler Kaep Wentz Alex Smith Fitzpatrick He is within 3 TD's or less of: Flacco Cam Stafford Carson Palmer Tom Brady
  9. Its taken us 2 decades to find a "good passing QB." We've had several outstanding defenses in that period. Im surprised a Bills fan would have this thought process.
  10. Im on my phone. When i get to a computer ill gladly respond.
  11. Lol. keep deflecting. Offense Defense Special teams 3 components of a football TEAM needed to win. Thats not what we're talking about here.
  12. I would say now is the time when your subjective view of a matter overrides the objective, tangible data. For the 100th time, scoring isnt some weird, arbitrary stat. Its THE FUNDAMENTAL STAT. And for TWO seasons now we score at a top 10 level. Talk about refusing to accept the obvious.
  13. Its not an excuse but more of a reality: the turnstile at WR has affected the chemistry between QB and WR. And for most of our games this season Goodwin was the only deep threat at WR. That being said i think TT shouldve taken more shots down the field at times. Hes been more conservative down the field this year almost to a fault. And there are several reasons for that IMO.
  14. I have a serious question: if we had a QB that passed for 250-300yds a game but had no running game, would the same outcry exist? I dont think it would. We could even be scoring less than we do now. But who cares bc we can pass well. I can really see less of an outcry if this offense was reversed. People just dont care about the running game. Its all about passing. Even if you suck at least you go down passing. I think thats the mindset that wont change.
  15. Insightful post. The world is still flat, too. You think after 2 full seasons of being among the best in the NFL at scoring, defenses would figure out how to stop this one dimension. Fact is its not that easy to stop the run when you HAVE to spy on the QB and keep contain. To not acknowledge the asset that TT is to the offense in that respect is foolish. As for passing, if you want more yards then we'll have to run less. But why do that when our offensive formula already works. We score. And we score a lot.
  16. It would never happen. But if Rex could put aside his ego and work with Gus Bradley (or the best DCoordinator available) and let him run the defense while Rex leads the TEAM, id be 100% ok with Rex, Lynn, and Bradley as our staff next season. Pipe dream, i know
  17. This is nonsense. Imagine how much better this OFFENSE would be with Hoyer. We would be averaging about 40pts a game and setting all-time NFL scoring records. (Sarcasm intended)
  18. Let the season play out Id say. The offense has gotten better (which was not expected). The defense has gotten worse (which is probably the most damning aspect of Rex's tenure). So overall the team is probably about the same. Im not advocating for Rex, but i can also entertain people wanting him one more season.
  19. When Rex said he was going to improve the top 5 defense id say pretty much everyone knew he was talking out of his ass. And as for the playoffs, i dont exactly recall, but did he give a timetable? I dont think Rex wouldve expected getting fired after 2 seasons.
  20. I know. But its a divisional game and those are always a coin flip anyway. Mularkey will mess it up somehow.
  21. I dont view it that way. When a coach talks or politicians talk you have to be conservative with your expectations. I never understood how people continue to believe everything theyre fed by people who are simply saying what you want to hear. Rex doesnt play on Sundays. He can talk a good game but hes not playing.
  22. I think Houston In Ten
  23. Glad you're back. Negativity sells. People love to complain. Complain about work, their families, the weather, politics, the Bills. Some people simply cant carry a conversation without complaining.
