  1. Hes a giant mule. Well deserved. Thank you Rex for Richie.
  2. Hahahaha. Oh boy. I want CNN to ask Trump what he thinks about Tyrod.
  3. He routinely leaves big plays on the field? So when Rex came here we had a juggernaut offense i assume. Where did all these juggernaut offensive players come from all of a sudden. Going into week 17 we were 7th in the NFL in scoring and we've ranked #1 in the NFL in "big plays" in back to back seasons now and have been top 10 in scoring over 2 seasons (seasons, not weeks) under TT. So how many big plays has he really left all over the field? Are you stating that this team really shouldve ranked #1 in the NFL in scoring then? Maybe 2nd at worst? Greatest show on turf v 2.0? People crack me up. TT was the only thing holding this juggernaut offense back in 2015 and 2016. When Rex arrived and said he was going to build a bully he really meant he was going to establish the greatest offense in the NFL. 7th in the NFL wasnt good enough for Bills fans. Our sights were locked on at least being top 5 in offense i suppose. 🙄🙄
  4. I heard that too. But The same thing could be said about 20 other QBs. What do you think the Andy dalton's and Flacco's of the world look like on a weekly basis.
  5. TBD AND TSW. We know what the T stands for. Lol
  6. Thats the beauty of a TEAM SPORT. Something many here cant comprehend.
  7. Good point. So to rehash, TT has been a major contributor of the highest Bills scoring teams in decades (2015-2016). TT has been a major contributor in setting the team record for scrimmage yards (589 @ miami). TT has played the best game of any QB in seattle in 6yrs. TT has been a major contributor of an offense that has led the NFL in "big plays" for back to back seasons. Blow it all up. Bring in Hoyer.
  8. Thats disturbing. Our screen pass game needs major improvement especially since we have shady.
  9. Cousins is one of the best young QBs in my opinion. I dont think TT is that.
  10. Lol. No seriously. I want to hear why the scenario i proposed is NOT reasonable.
  11. Best option: 1. Keep TT, and continue to groom Cardale since everyone has acknowledged he's a major project. 2. Keep TT, continue to groom Cardale, and draft a QB with the comfort level of knowing you don't "have to" draft a QB. Best time to get something in my opinion, is when you don't absolutely need it. 3. Let go of TT, sign/trade for a veteran FA QB, and go into the draft knowing you have to draft a QB. In an ideal world, we go with #1 for now. We continue to see what we have in Cardale during the summer and into pre season, and by year 2 we should start to get an idea if Cardale will ever even be an option at QB. 2017 cap hit for TT would put him at #20 in the NFL for QB's, so the $$$ at the QB spot isn't hurting the team's cap. If Cardale shows very little progress at QB this year during the summer and preseason, we focus on drafting TT's replacement next season (which appears to have a better QB class), and we do so knowing that we don't "have to" draft a QB b/c TT is still under contract and probably performing as expected. In 2018 we go with TT, new rookie QB to groom, and continue to see if Cardale can improve. I believe TT's cap hit in 2018 would still only be 17th in the NFL, so we're not spending a lot of cap space at the QB position. By 2019, either TT is setting the world on fire and we're content, or we can start to transition to the rookie QB we drafted in 2018. Hopefully by 2019 we managed to make the playoffs in either 2017 or 2018 with TT at QB and an improved defense under McDermott. IMO, that's a very reasonable and realistic scenario.
  12. my logic is that RG3's fall from graces does not correlate to TT. We know why RGIII shat the bed ultimately. TT doesn't get injured as often and TT doesn't fumble. TT isn't a primadonna.
  13. Tyrod is 27 years old. He hasn't even started two full seasons worth of games yet (he's at 29GS). Through the first 29 games, what has Tyrod been comparable to: RG3's rookie of the year season. Are we seriously complaining about that? When RG3 won rookie of the year and was the talk of the town, you're telling me we don't like that kind of production from our QB b/c he's 27 and not 23 or 22? My question is, who cares? So worst case scenario, Tyrod's floor is RG3's rookie of the year season (apporoximately), and lets say his ceiling is slightly better (which it can be with a healthy Sammy, more starts in the NFL, and consistency with the coaching staff), is that a bad thing at 28 yrs old next year?
  14. Lynn has second interview with Chargers and LA. Must be rooney rule🙄
  15. I heard the interview, and then once it was over they went on to rip on Tyrod about him being a top 15QB. Saying yeh, maybe 15th out of the 15. Lol. Ok but hes still top 15. I really didnt get the slant there other than to just say hes not as good as Brees and Brady. Yes we get that. Everyone gets that. Everyone. Thats why nobody said hes a top 5 QB. A top 3 QB. Or a future hall of famer. Top 15 to me just means that people view him as being better than about half the QBs in the NFL. Nothing more. Its more of a broad grouping than an actual literal ranking imo.
  16. Totally agree. He technically got promoted 2x in the same season. He cant really hold any ill will vs anyone if he doesnt get a HC job. Out of all the candidates he has the least experience as a coordinator and its not close correct?
  17. I was not happy with dick jauron. I was not happy with marrone. I had extreme reservations about Rex and eventually warmed up.
  18. Im happy with the choice. The lack of excitement i had with mcdermott prior to his hiring was pure laziness on my part - i had simply failed to read up on him (other than knowing just the very basics about him.) Everything i have read about him from numerous sources has been positive.
  19. I get what youre saying about it being en vogue to criticize TBN and Jerry, but nobody has anything bad to say about this hiring within NFL circles - to the contrary actually. Nobody but Jerry, that is. Within 2hrs of it happening. Pretty sad. So yeh i agree that sometimes Jerry gets ripped on undeservingly and the mob mentality kicks in around here but with $h*t like this, he does it to himself
  20. Haha..imagine the uproar if Whaley wasn't even in the picture?
  21. "I'm not sure what Russ Brandon does either." LMFAO!..dude you're instantly my favorite poster on this board.
  22. hahah..this is exactly what I posted in several threads and have since been told it's not confirmed?
