  1. In 3 games without Tyrod over the last 2 seasons the Bills averaged 20.6pts a game and are 0-3. Against the Bengals, GarbageJags, and Kotite Jets.
  2. Against the garbage Jets, our top 3 RB's averaged: Mike G - 15 for 40, 2.7ypc J Will - 4 for 11, 2.8ypc Shady - 5 for 10, 2ypc A grand total of 24 carries for 61yds against the POS jets. Shady hasnt broken 100yds rushing with the Bills in any game that TT hasnt started (3 games). If there are so many QBs out there that can easily put this offense close to 25ppg as you say why havent the Bills had a top 10 offense since 1999? When was the last time the Bills had a top 10 offense over the stretch of 2seasons? Jim Kelly?
  3. ?? The point is that plenty of franchises are "good" without a "franchise" QB and continue to produce solid competitive seasons until they do land that long-term, 10 year long answer at QB. You dont need to go full tank mode in an attempt to be great.
  4. Pathetic logic. Top 7 in scoring is better than good. Top 10 over 2 seasons is better than good. Of course we all want to be great, but we can be good en route to being great. Its not greatness or bust. The seawhawks were going to the playoffs with matt freaking hasselback before becoming great with Wilson. The Steelers were going to the playoffs with Kordell Stewart before becoming great with Big Ben, the ravens were going to the Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer before Flacco. The giants with collins before Eli. 5 years from now we'll be saying that the Texans were still getting by with Osweiler and Hoyer before landing their stud QB. We dont need to go into football purgatory before becoming "great". We're cutting off our nose to spite our face. Its sad.
  5. Seriously. Might as well trade shady and hughes. By the time this team is "ready" these guys will be passed their prime.
  6. Thats the thing though. We cant put all our eggs in the draft basket. There is no guarantee a team will trade with us. There are no guarantees in the draft for 100s of reasons.
  7. Seriously. This is freaking depressing.
  8. We were 7th leading into week 17. Would it be better? I dont know. Would it be near top 10? Highly likely. Its been top 10 for 2 years now. And no way we have more injuries at WR next year than we had this year
  9. Yes. What im saying is that who cares about our failures 15-17yrs ago. They have no relevance now. Now we have a good offense and a below average defense. We're close. Stay the course on O. Improve the D.
  10. Exactly. Dallas went 6-10, 8-8, 8-8, 8-8 before they finally got their **** together. That great record with the all mighty Romo thay everyone wants here. At 37yrs old now.
  11. So to recap, Tyrod over the last two seasons had more TD's per game, less turnovers, a better completion %, a better QB rating than Big Ben's 5th and 6th years in the NFL; Tyrod's total yardage would've been right there with Big Ben too if he played 2 more games, since Big Ben had 2 more games played during that stretch.
  12. Big Ben's 5th and 6th year combined stats: 7,812 total yards (rushing and passing); 7,629 passing; 47 total TD's; 37 turnovers; 62.6 completion %; 90.3 rating Tyrod Taylor: 7206 total yards, 6058 passing yards, 47 total tds, 37 passing tds, 12 ints, 94.5 rating, 62.7 comp % Tyrod played two fewer games*****
  13. Compare Big Bens numbers his 5th and 6th yr in the NFL to TT's last two. Do it. Be surprised.
  14. TT "only" had 23 TD's this year: that ranks him middle of the pack in the NFL for total TD's scored through 15 games. Not elite, certainly not bad, definitely not worth you qualifying it with "only". You saying EJ "almost averaged" as much is laughable, why even go there?. If being top ten in scoring over a 2 year span can be done by "anyone", when was the last time the Bills ranked top 10 in scoring over a two year period? 20 years ago? Jim Kelly era? Were you even born yet?
  15. Yeh. Like most of us have been saying. This has been one of the weirdest off seasons so far for the Bills. I have to admit the level of noise and conflicting reports is astounding.
  16. How can they not afford it? The skins cap situation is excellent.
  17. I like you just dont get it. Whaley spent 5 minutes talking abouy how "close" we are. How we were almost there vs the Seahawks and the Raiders (and I agree actually). So logically being that close we blow everything up? Billsy.
  18. Nobody does trash like the NY POST
  19. unless we're trading for Romo, this is a huge mistake. We have a good offense. Fix the defense. No need to blow everything up.
