  1. I think the issue all the politicians and experts on abortion dodge is at what point do they believe the unborn child is sentient and has rights to a life? 3 moths, 6 months, the day before birth? All they say is "I support a women's right to choose". Good for you and by the way so do I. Now define and articulate the rules and parameters that govern that "choice" and stop with all the election slogans.
  2. I think you're over estimating the power Trump might wield as time passes and the 2024 primary season begins. The way I see it the shelf life on his act has expired and I don't see how he'll continue to hold influence over his base as more suitable candidates present their case for the nomination.
  3. If Hunt can help convert those troublesome 3rd and 1 attempts vs. risking Allen on those plays its worth a look.
  4. With this dysfunctional administration we don't need to worry about our enemies. Washington is doing a great job destroying the country and our international standing without any extra help. Its almost like they get together and brainstorm, "what's the worst and dumbest thing anyone can think of doing"? One of the imbeciles speaks and then the puppet master says, "great, let's do that"!
  5. That's what it sounds like to you? You have absolutely 100% confidence the entire transfer process was performed at a level of perfection? Okay then, when I need somebody to lead a course on Six Sigma process improvement and execution that includes discussing concepts like conformance to specifications you'll be the first person I contact.
  6. But until the geniuses in Biden administration decided to raise it to a direct "strategic", disrupt the balance of power that kept a relative peace, and commit to some $50B in aid to the effort there wasn't much impact. And anybody that professes the total innocence of any party involved in this conflict is oblivious to how real-life confrontations escalate.
  7. And you have no proof everything is on the up-and-up either. That being equal, I throw more weight behind the opinion of somebody that has articulated a level of understanding and experience about the process than you have, which is apparently nothing.
  8. The is a message board and not a court of law so what exactly is the burden of proof here? A poster, Sherpa, that has expressed views based on previous personal and professional experience that weapons transfers like those happening with Ukraine have a lot of security and handling gaps like chain of custody tracking if I might mention one. And that based on firsthand experience with such transfers its likely this applies to weapons and technology transfers here where some items might find there way into the black market. Add in a known high level of corruption in Ukraine and the US administration's effort to block all calls and efforts for oversight and accounting and I find there's a high probability that the conclusion is very plausible. Especially considering its run by an administration that had little to no concern about leaving some $60B of US weapons behind in Afghanistan for the Taliban. I suspect a lot of those weapons have ended up on the black market too as the regime there tries to raise some cash to meet expenses. I mean, as for "proof", do you expect somebody from the civilian US government or the Pentagon to confess and expose their incompetence and lack of accountability or some on-the-ball investigative reporter to expose the mess? Or Zelensky or some connected Ukrainian oligarch telling us he's made 100's of millions off US weapons transfers?
  9. That assessment is pretty vague. Exactly what is nonsense? i think its more like truths that are inconvenient to your argument.
  10. War kills people. If that's the measure of evil then how many people have been murdered in wars and interventions initiated by Washington over the past 20+ years? The truth is you won't accept Biden's Washington administration does not want peace. Their objective is to bog down Russia in a costly war of attrition against some proxy State, which is Ukraine. And they're willing to sacrifice as many Ukrainian troops and civilians as it takes. And fund the effort to infinity. If that's not evil then what is? Is Putin a bad guy? Sure he is. Nobody is arguing he's some sort of Saint. But him being a bad guy doesn't disqualify anyone else from being a bad guy here too. I'm sure my words will fall on deaf ears as we've gone some 244 pages of conversation and nothing anyone has said or anything that has transpired on the ground to this point has caused you to move one inch from your original position.
  11. That's incorrect. Several sources have confirmed that Turkey hosted negotiations between Ukraine and Russia in April of 2022 where a deal was being crafted but then Boris Johnson was dispatched to Ukraine to inform Zelensky that no such arrangement was acceptable and the war would continue. So as to which involved party won't negotiate, you need to look towards Washington and London.
  12. The problem with that argument is that appeasement or warfare are not the only options. The best option would be negotiating a mutually beneficial peace that addresses the needs and concerns of all parties.
  13. The majority of Americans believe there should be limits on aid. And the issue doesn't poll well as a major concern for prospective voters in the mid-terms. Something like 5% of people polled think Ukraine is a major concern. But you disagree and apparently so does the administration. The problem is this conflict has consequences to the US and the world beyond the desire to support Ukraine and weaken Russia. Its has caused major issues in the energy and food markets. It has consequences for alliances and arrangements between the US and other countries by asking many to put their national interests at risk for no benefit to themselves. It has facilitated what might evolve into a global depression. When these consequences are weighed against the pursuit of the administration agenda a basic cost vs. benefit evaluation makes it clear the trouble is more than its worth. While you might be "all in" on committing an infinite amount of funding and resources for the war an overwhelming majority of Americans are not.
  14. Not just sexually exploiting children. To add, exploiting other people's children. And also, while attempting to use the power of The State to pull it off. The only thing I dislike more then these predators and perverts are the ass holes in the court system and law enforcement that help them.
  15. Tibs is saying we should have a policy of providing an unlimited amount of aid to Ukraine without regards for conditions or consequences or the impact on our national interests, budget, or other needs, and that anyone objecting to this policy or suggesting there should be clear objectives and goals tied to aid should be ostracized and labeled as an ally of Putin as no descent or debate about this can be tolerated by the establishment.
  16. When it comes to women's "rights" issues they'll make waves when they're told to make waves. But when it comes to independently deciding to bump heads with the delusion of men pretending to be women or disadvantaging biological women in sporting events, organizations like NOW are AWOL. And as sowing the seeds of chaos appears to be the goal, attempting to make logical sense of it all and pointing out the inconsistencies and hypocrisies of it all is futile.
  17. Before that comes putting a dress and lipstick on a Turkey for Thanksgiving. I'd pay to see some enlightened social justice dupe attempt that as those birds have sharp claws and a nasty streak. The Ministry of Truth will be issuing instructions on how to safely enjoy an alternative to a holiday that doesn't celebrate the oppressor. Also, the ministry of truth does not recognize Christmas because to do so would be to recognize the existence of an omnipotent God and there can be no more powerful institution than The State in their operating model.
  18. You can never know for sure if the Durham investigation was some sort of misdirection play or a legitimate attempt to investigate actual events and potential misdeeds. As just a couple small fish have been tried and acquitted it appears to be nearing the end. That they never attempted to go after any of the "big" name players regardless of where the evidence pointed is telling. As they are part of the protected class in our two-tier justice system. Quite frankly, Durham knew they were off limits and going after them would have resulted in some official intervention in his investigation and most likely the end of his career. My suspicion all long is that like AG Barr, Durham was another Trojan Horse for the establishment and the investigation was never intended to lead to any convictions. Like the 1/6 committee, its purpose was to provide some drama and entertainment value.
  19. When one of those 10's of thousands of new IRS agents audits you and shines a light up your rear end tell us again how the government "cares". That aside, my problem isn't the process and structure of government. My problem is the people running it. For starters, there's nobody in charge from both parties that's under 70+ years old. They need to retire and get out of the way. Move to Florida and take up flower arranging and sweep the beach for lost coins, take a nap and eat dinner at 4 PM. Second they all take office with few assets and leave millionaires while producing no specific product or providing no services. How does that work exactly?
  20. Daboll is good at reading the room and he set the tone early when he decided to go for 2 against the Titans to win the game rather than take the tie and opt for overtime. It showed the coach had confidence in his team and that's developed into a two-way relationship. It was an early gamble and it worked. He immediately established trust and respect with his players which got everyone believing. He also rewarded guys making plays and preparing hard with game time and opportunities no matter their draft status or play level. In a pretty weak looking NFC conference they seem like a legitimate NFC wild card contender and he seems to have the team pointed in the right direction for the first time in a long time.
  21. What was the Cuban missile crisis about? The Russians crossed the line in the sand by attempting to place ICBMs in Cuba. 90 miles from US territory. Washington found this unacceptable. What is one of the Russian concerns about Ukraine and NATO? Parking strategic nuclear weapons on their border. Moscow found this unacceptable as it crosses a line in the sand they've clearly communicated. Now if your a partisan player on one side or the other you can take the stance of one party being right and the other party being wrong. You can even say that Cuba has a right to do whatever they want inside their country and the US had no justification to object just like you've stated in past posts as a justification for Kiev position and Moscow's illegitimate objections and actions. But if you view the concerns objectively and equally you need to consider both valid or both invalid. You can't pick and choose. Moscow is just doing what Washington did in the '60's and the only difference is Moscow blinked and Washington didn't. I think that's pretty much the point.
  22. You need to kill somebody before you let that happen again. Simply mindboggling. Just unbelievable. That staff has apparently learned absolutely nothing from last year's failure. Only the Bills.
  23. My argument is if you want to achieve some objective and avoid conflict you need to negotiate. As I'm not an expert on Russia affairs or some sort of profiler, I don't know what Putin thinks. But your "we should be able to do what we want" thinking is like the guy that has a 200 foot deep backyard that puts his kids jungle gym and his tool shed 199 feet away from his back door and one foot inside the property line. Placing them about 20 feet from the neighbors back porch while seeing nothing wrong with it. Or one of my buddies neighbors that decided it was okay to divert the water flow into his backyard which floods his yard every time it rains. After all, everyone can do whatever they want! But real life don't work that way. There are actions and reactions and consequences. I've witnessed, or been a party to, situations where somebody thought they could do whatever they wanted and ended up getting the crap kicked out of them. And as far as countries go, I'll wager anyone expressing the idea Ukraine can do what they want will have a slightly different opinion about the Saudi's doing "what they want to do" with regards to lowering oil production levels. One lesson is where you stand depends on where you sit. Life's all about perspective. And our official perspective is governed by our own interests.
  24. Yes, Putin and I are on the same page here. That's your stock virtue signalling answer for anyone you don't agree with. Might I suggest you live in the real world at some point here?
  25. That sounds like the negotiating position of a spoiled child. And I guess that's exactly what Russia is doing too. What they want, right? If you consider the only option to a resolution is force and you're not willing to negotiate or yield any bargaining points to the other party in exchange for getting what you want, which is peace, through a negotiated and mutual compromise, then don't ask.
