The lesson here is you can try, but you can't mitigate or eliminate every risk to life when it comes to natural disasters.

Very fine people ICE is arresting. But the racism angle is wearing thin. Even with "brown" people that support removing criminal illegals. Why don't you meet up with these outstanding young men for margaritas in Omaha? https://nypost.com/2025/07/10/us-news/violent-ms-13-kingpin-wanted-for-five-murders-and-another-gang-member-arrested-by-ice-in-omaha/

Well we know what the liberals "plan" for the future is. Flood the country with millions of illegals and eliminate all masculine characteristics in the population to complete the pussification of the country. So can you ladies please just stop.

We don't know what specific legal arguments Smith was prepared to present but let's not recognize the case was dropped because of politics and pretend politics didn't have anything to do with the charges. Plainly, Democrats were willing to go to great lengths to disqualify Trump from running and its obvious why. All those cases had the stench of political motivation. Like those photos of "top secret" documents scattered on the floor. Bush league level theater and completely unprofessional. I'm quite disappointed in Patel and Bongino. Both claimed to know where all the bodies are buried. So start digging. To this point these Wolves have acted more like Lambs. Lots of talk and no action. If they have legitimate evidence get on with it.

Why does MAGA hate children?

Biden's DOJ had the list too. If there is such a list it appears nobody with access to it past or present has a desire for transparency. -
Yes. Paying it with depreciated dollars that buy much less in an high inflation environment. Or in a deflationary post-default economy if monetary authorities do the unexpected and don't address the situation with the customary flood of money creation. My guess is the former as allowing an outright default crashes financial markets and real estate. In this case we can pretend everyone is still nominally well off even if a Big Mac costs $25.

A candidate advocating balancing the budget and fiscal austerity would be immediately accused of hating the poor and needy while wanting to kill children and the elderly in doing the bidding of billionaire donors thst want to eliminate Medicaid and the social safety net. So the free lunch for everyone continues until the waiter brings the check to the table and nobody has the money to pay it.

Your 2025 Democrat Party - the New Red Guard

I'm confident Stein is an intelligent person and he doesn't really believe there are more than two genders. But in liberal society admitting that kind of reality is social and political heresary punishable by banishment. But when you're operating under a system of forced obedience to lies this reality denying behavior is required for survival. -
It's hardly a myth that colleges and employers have used systems of racial preference. One obvious clue is their fight against the elimination of such preferences. Another is acceptance of candidates with lower academic credentials being accepted over those with higher performance. Interestingly and perhaps unintentionally, Asians are harmed by this reverse-discrimination more than Whites.

UPDATE: ISRAEL v IRAN - Ceasefire reached?

If proven to be correct, I would imagine they'd bomb those sites again in a couple months. So its all kind of a moot point. -
So does Canada. But the purpose isn't to provide taxpayer subsidized cheap liquor prices to alcoholics. Mamdani is the prototypical young commie. Knows what's best for the working person without ever experiencing the life of a working person in any way. I used to see these douches at college. Talking lots of hypothetical bull crap about worker exploitation and and economic theories minus any real world experience. I think these people were allergic to work or manual labor. Meanwhile I'm working the night shift full time at a factory paying my way through college concluding these fools don't know nothing. The probable next Mayor of NYC doesn't have a single original idea. Free this, free that. Nothings free. Its all been tried before. Look at the failed Soviet model. Its all there. It will all result in a very large and spectacular failed social experiment. After the experience it would be fitting if they never win another election.

UPDATE: ISRAEL v IRAN - Ceasefire reached?

I expect years of satellite imagery of personnel and vehicles moving in and around the facilities have provided a good deal of information on the specific coordinates of the facilities. Combine that with eyes on the ground thought to be providing intelligence. Add electronic eavesdropping and "pinging" cell phone coordinates of known participants in the program. Maybe even debriefings of U.N. inspectors as suspected by the Iranians? I would expect all that and other intelligence produced the high degree of confidence about the targets that was necessary to green light the mission. As for deception in war, absolutely. There's good reason it's said "the first casualty of war is the truth". -

A deeper inspection of the political environment yields the question how bad are the democrats that voters are willing to tolerate this type of behavior because they conclude he'll get things done that the democrats won"t or he'll fix things they screwed up? My personal assessment in 2024 was overall I disliked Trump less than I disliked Harris. -
The latest stats I could find are from 2021 that said NYC has about 36K tax filers making $1 million+. Probably a good assumption there's somewhat more people making that much in 2025. So I think the plan is to tax the crap out of those $1M earners to pay for all the goodies for everybody else. Maybe drive it down to those at $400K? The problem is the basic tax the rich approach which is attractive to voters wanting a lot of perks but not wanting to pay for them directly creates a lot of disincentives for high income individuals to stay in the city. many could decide to leave and set up permanent residency in lower tax States. Which erodes the tax base and makes the expected additional tax revenue vanish. Given the reality that technology has the capability to render the mid-town Manhattan office complex obsolete if you're willing to deal with the lower productivity with working-from-home arrangements and it gives high earners more options than just staying and paying. It changes the decision from having to be in NYC to wanting to be in NYC. Don't think for a minute New Jersey and Connecticut won't be dangling lots of incentives to large employers to leave Manhattan and move to their States.
