Lets looks at the first 4 weeks of the season in the division. All 4 teams have a very Tough beginning of the year. Buf.......Miami, @Packers,@ NE, Jets. Lets hope we beat the Fins at home. Might be our only win to start off. I think all these games will be close. We don't know the Spiller effect yet but I will say 1-3 with a mild chance at 2-2. Fins.....@Bills, @Vikings, Jets, Pats. If they don't beat us at home they could be 0-4. Jets.. Ravens,NE, @Miami,Bills They could win all 4. But I doubt they will. Best case 3-1 with a loss to the Ravens hopefully. 2-2 is not out of the question either. Paties... Bengals,@ Jets, Bills, @ Miami. They could win all 4 also but not likely, they never play well at Miami, who knows what the Bengals will be like but they were a playoff team last year. 3-1 most likely but 2-2 is not out of the question. After 4 weeks I see. Pats 3-1 Jets 2-2 Bills 1-3 Fins 0-4 comments?

I love the Jets on Defense, they might have the best in the league right now. Ryan is one heck of a coach. Schotty knows how to handle Sanchez on offense. They might have the best coaching staff in the AFC, that goes along way. They are going to beat you on Defense. Remember how the Ravens won the super Bowl in 2000? Dilfer was not the best QB in the world but the D carried them. LT is going to score alot but Green is going to be the feature back. Losing Washington is going to hurt the Special Teams and on 3rd down. Fanica wore down during the latter part of the season and I don't think his loss is gonna kill them.The O-line is going to wear teams down. I don't see them losing more than 5 or 6 games. I don't see many weakness, they can be beat but the key is to get ahead early and hope Sanchez throws some INT's, like against the Bills. I hope they crush Tom Brady twice and they built the team to rush the passer. As much as I don't like the Jets I respect what they have done, way more than I do the Pats who I can't stand.

To enlighten you.... it's nigga not !@#$, believe me there is a difference. Also I believe there is an effort in the record biz to keep the word floating around, otherwise they would ban it, which is what they should do but don't.

It was a combo of terrible coaching and bad QB play. The D was often wore down because the Offense couldn't score and left them out to dry. Saints game was a perfect example. The play not too lose coaching staff lead by Jauron counted on the D to keep us in games and hope for a break or 2. That did not work did it?

Gaither has the Jason Peters look all over him. I'd pass if that was the case. But they have to pick up a LT before opening day. Not only is Bell still not 100 percent physically, I don't think he is ready to play just yet. They maybe waiting to see who is cut during training camp. Either way they better hope they find somebody or it will be last year all over again on the line.

I think you nailed it . Trent has ONE more chance to show what he can do. But after the Cleveland game last year he lost me. No way we should lose at home to the Browns 2 yrs. in a row. But I'm willing to see what The Chan can do with him or Brohm. I hope it is an open competition like Nix and Chan have been saying and so far they have not lied to us.

ok ok lol I really hope Chan can get Edwards to play better. I really do, but I just don't see it is all I'm saying. He is going to have to prove it to Bills nation all over again that he can be the guy. And we have plenty of reason to doubt it. (see Cleveland game last year)

Brees has Trent beat down in the leadership area, hope you figured that out . Your making up excuses. Aaron Rodgers line in Green Bay sucked at the beginning of the season but he still made plays. Drew Brees is what 6'1 at best? He can throw over the line just fine. I know QB is not an easy job. But if you suck you suck and Trent has regressed instead of getting better. And we play in the AFC east where all the teams play the 3-4 and Trent still cant figure it out after 3 yrs. Last month I asked Can Chan save Edwards. Look it up it got lots of replies. I have my doubts and still do. If Chan can make Edwards a better QB then mark him down as coach of the year right the !@#$ now.

You forgot that most of the Team was on IR last year. Buddy thinks we are not far off, I believe him. If we had scored a TD against the Browns we win. thanks Trent... If we didn't fumble in NE we might have won. If we could have scored against NO that game was winnable. The Jacksonville game was winnable as well. Needed more points.

Brohm was put in a bad spot last year I don''t think he was awful but he sure didnt get any help from the run game that day. shows you how much faith Perry had in Edwards...none We did draft Levi Brown BTW in he 7th.

I disagree with Edwards being a heavy favorite to start. The Chan said its an open season at QB. Levi Brown might start for all we know. They maybe able to get an upgrade at LT after the training camp cuts. All I know is it's way to early to say they have giving up on the season before the OTA's even.

If your example of leadership includes not throwing to open WR's all year then you need to change the glasses you are wearing because you didn't see what most of us here saw last year. The QB is the face of the team. He HAS to be VOCAL. The team is as good as it's QB and TE is not a very good QB. Fitz may not be the best option as a backup, but I would take him anyday over Edwards, Fitz has guts, is mobile and won more games than TE did last year and most important, the guys in the locker room respect him more than they do Edwards which is HUGE, you can not lead without respect. Something that Trent has lost.

I agree alot with the OP, good post. Agree about Fitz, he is your backup almost a lock to make the team. Levi Brown is the Practice squad lock unless he shows out his ass during training camp. The starting job is really between Edwards and Brohm IMO . The loser will get cut. I hope Brohm wins it because Edwards has lost the locker room and that is awful hard to get back.

To the OP...good post and I think alot of people agree with you on OBD. The Bills have yet to bottom out. Meaning a 3-13 or a 4 -12 year. Nobody wants to see that kind of year but it could happen this year. They are retooling the roster and I think we may have a whole new D-line this year. I think the following players are in danger of not being on the roster opening day... Schobel...retired Ellison.....too small Stroud...past his prime McCargo...sucks Kelsey.... a shame but he is NOT a LB Edwards...sucks Parrish....needs a new team If these guys are gone we finally in true rebuilding mode. It's long overdue and I for one think Buddy can make them a bigger and stronger team. And it is gonna take time. Buddy said so himself. My starting D looks like this... LDE...Edwards RDE..Carrington NT Williams or Troup LOLB Maybin LILB Poz RILB Davis ROLB Mitchel SS Wilson FS Bryd LCB McGee RCB McKelvin This should make us better against the run. We have a great secondary but they have to learn how to stop teams from running the ball down our throats. That the key to the season right? Im sure Buddy saw us being pushed around on D last year. The draft saw us get bigger except for Spiller. I will give Buddy the benefit of doubt for not just this year but the next draft as well.

You guys are forgetting about Kyle Williams. He may be able to handle the NT position. They might have to jump back into the second and get his rotation backup, say Cam Thomas. I think they do what they have to to get either Brown or Saffold in the 2nd. I don't see Bell being anything more than a backup at this point.

Nobody thought Clausen was good enough for the 1st round, Tebow is a project and even if we do get McCoy he will have to learn the NFL so we are still waiting.
