Jets should have been on Hard Knocks this season. We will find out how good how a coach Rex is this yr. I havent been this excited to see an Bills opener since Bledsoe came to town. If Sanchez can handle all this and play well I will be more than impressed. But I hope he crumbles like a cracker in soup lol 5. AP if Peterson can start for the vikings week 1 and play well I will put him in the half man half amazing status. 6. Dez Byrant How can a man hit his mama like that and still have a job is beyond me. Kelsey has more sacks than Merriman during Lights out time here so what you saying. Kelsey at this point is worth wayyy more to the team than the all the time hurt Merriman.

Thing is at this point Moats is the better pass rusher. Plus Moats has more sacks than Merriman during his time here. Plus the two young LB's we drafted this yr looks like they can play. I think maybe the Bills would be better without Merriman than with him. You have a good point.

I think most people would agree with you and I said it in other post, I think the First game Vs. the Jets is a must win and would jump start the season perfectly. The Jets have owned the Bills last few years.They might still be looking at us as a sure win. Remember how important that Jets game was in the Ralph and we got our butts kicked last year? I thought after that game the Bills were not ready yet and it showed the rest of the season.

In a sense he has to be Rondo or a like you said a Nash type because he has to get the ball to everybody. Stevie, Fred ,CJ, Nelson they have to get there touches so to speak. Chans playcalling has alot to do with it too. I thought the Bills passed to much in the second half of the last yr. CJ should have gotten more carries.

Dont think Fitz will be a Rivers or Brady but.... He got the locker room and the coaching staff believing he can do it. If he cuts down on his INT's yes he can get you to the playoffs. He has enough firepower on hand. But as we found out he is a streaky QB. Every QB has a bad game or 2. My thing is Fitz cant go on a streak of bad games. I will say this now, if Fred Jackson stays injury free all yr we make the playoffs because he is the man on offense. Fitz just has to run the show like a point guard in Basketball and we will be playing in January.

Count me as one of those who think the first game vs the Jets is a Must win. That might springboard them to a 3-0 start. But 4-3 would be good if we beat the Jets and Pats and be 2-0 in the division. But 5-2 would be excellent and they would be in good shape playoff wise if we stay injury free for the most part.

Hagen did play well the the end of the season and it seems Fitz trusts him. That cant be underestimated. It seems like the Bills coaches like Jones more. I think there is gonna be some good comp at WR. But if Hagen does win it means 2 things. Easley getting hurt again and Hagen beats out Jones. Think it will be Jones but he better have a strong camp. We will find out soon enough.

More posts like these please people, this is classic stuff. I remember the Rockpile well. I lived like 6 blocks away when I was young . Even when we didn't go to the games we used to sit outside with the radio and listen for the crowd reactions outside. It was awesome. My first Bills Game was in 72 vs. the Steelers. Pittsburg had Franco Harris,Terry Bradshaw. Franco I think scored 3 times. O.J had a 94 yd TD and had over 180 on the day. Bobby Chandler had a nice game I think he scored twice. We lost 38-21 but it was a fun game to watch. It's funny my Mom took me because she wanted to see OJ play. One other thing about the Rockpile, that grass was thick almost like what Notre Dame plays on now. And it was super green early in the season. I loved watching the games I dont remember or was too young to see on Youtube.

Well if you don't have faith... I love it !! Good for CJ, I think he was just saying what's on alot of players minds in the locker room. I think if they stay focused they have a shot at a playoff berth and If they get to dance anything can happen. If they get a home playoff game...wait I'm getting ahead of myself. Ofcourse we have to wait and see what happens, but I haven't been this pumped up about a season in a long while.

Better than working with 3 people you have never meet before. All I'm saying it worked out for the Heat. Will be more impressed if they win again next yr. Back to back titles and 3 finals in a row and we can start the dynasty talk.

The OP has a point and as I have been saying all off season, almost all the moves we made on D is to stop Brady. Well at least get some pressure on him. And we can rotate players in to keep Mario and Kyle and Dareus fresh. I am interested this summer to see how Dwan Edwards handles backup DT. Him along with S. Johnson looks good with Merriman and Kelsey on the outside. If Troup can play this yr we are very deep on the Dline. I think we got a good shot at pressuring Brady into mistakes. Guys like Byrd, Gilmore, Wilson will make Brady pay if he pressured. If we win the turnover battles we can beat NE twice this yr I really believe that.

Well Lebron made the RIGHT decision didnt he??? He gave cleveland his all for 6 yrs. In that time the Cavs had to find him enough players to support a championship team and failed to do so. So when his contract was up and had a chance to play with D.Wade AND Bosh in Miami of all places that was an easy choice. Actually I blame ESPN for blowing "The Decision" WAY out of wack. That was the dumbest thing I ever saw on ESPN. It was just about ratings. And Lebron was dumb enough to fall for it. It slapped the Cavs organization and the City in the face. Now if he just would have went to Miami and held a press conference, shed some real or fake tears about leaving his hometown for a better opportunity I think everybody would have took it much better in cleveland.

Less INT's and we go to the playoffs. Everything else about Fitz I like. We know he tough, poor guy played with broken ribs. Leadership not a problem, like many people said already those INT's has to come down. And maybe a few more TD's as well. I would gladly take a 27 TD 10 int season.
