you guys are missing something....we dont have enough talent on D. Yea we could blitz more sure but even if we did the corners like Williams and Rodgers would get burnt like toast. Wanny is being undercut by players who should be better. Mario, Dareus, CB Williams, Sheppard should be much better than they are at this point. The whole D scheme is based on the front four getting pressure. That is not happening like any of us thought. So almost everything they planned on doing this year is bust because the players are not playing well. The only thing I have a problem with is they don't blitz at all. But its clearly a lack of talent because they were shi**y last year as well.

to the OP Mike..... you know you will be back after the bye week. Its a labor of love......I have asked myself the same question for years now. I can't pull myself away even though I know they are not a playoff team. We had our run during the Kelly years. We had 4 chances at it and we could not get it done. Seems like we will never get back to that level. Its depressing but its what we got to deal with. Rather have the Bills than not have a team at all is the only thing I can think of right at the moment.

True his perspective of the game might have changed since his brother death. That could shake anybody's world. But at the end of the day it's his job. And right now he and Mario Williams are not the players that that we thought they were up to this point.

time for facts people. This is not a playoff team. Period. This team on Defense is the worse I have seen. They cost us the game. Dareus and Mario are not the players we expected. Wilson is a former WR playing SS. LB's are as soft as ice cream. They never blitz. Either its over-hyped players or bad coaching. I believe its a combo of both but I do know something has to change. 34 points at home is enough to beat most teams. I don't blame Fitz for this one, thought he played within himself. I blame Gailey for calling that pass on Fitz's INT. That two weeks in a row that he made a wrong call at the wrong time. 10 carries for CJ is not enough. I could go on but I'm too pissed too continue. This is a poorly coached team. They looked unprepared on that opening drive. Im glad its the bye week. They wont find another way to lose next week at least.

I don't agree If he is good enought to start next yr why not this year? C.J. is our best option on offense right now and you want to save him for next yr. If your best player is not on the field as much as possible you are hurting your team. 68 percent agree with me. That why I started this poll. Thought this would be the case .

I believe next yr in the draft we should do everything possible to upgrade the QB position. Listen every draft is a risk. We gambled on CJ . I say we won on that one. I say we gambled the Gilmore will be an pretty good CB. So far so good. We gambled on Dareus even to be great. Time will tell on him . If we go and get us a franchise QB, someone that can play right now like Geno Smith of W.Virginia it will make the D even better. Because number one if you have a QB the can move those chains and get first downs it keeps the D fresh. Secondly if your Defense believes in its QB to score even when behind a score or 2 they wont get panic as much when we get behind. The might have in the back of their minds, hey we just got scored on but our QB will get the score right back. Do you think the Packers get scarred when they are down a couple of scores?? Nope because they have faith in Rodgers to bring them back. Do you believe Fitz can lead us back after being down by 10 or 14 points? He is too wild in his passes to even think that. So yes to jump in on the convo about the QB having an effect on the Defense...for sure it does. If there is an offseason to gamble some draft picks on a Franchise QB it would be this one. I like our Offensive line, RB's WR's. The only thing on D we are missing is some better LB's. Buddy doesn't like to trade those draft picks but I dont think he has any other option to upgrade the QB position. Until we get a Franchise QB we gonna be 7-9, 8-8 every year.

His stats are even more impressive considering the fact that Glenn and Urbik have been out last 2 games.

Im 5-1 so far in my Bills predictions so far . So I wont start my weekly thread because somebody beat me to it. Anyway Bills 28-Titans 20. McKelvin scores early, C.J. Spiller , Chandler and Stevie all will score. All Fitz has to do is not turn the ball over and we win. We go into the bye week 4-3. A weird 4-3 to say the least. Must win home game and I think the Bills will play like it.

I think this is more to do about Anderson rather than Merriman. I think Anderson is done for the yr. They used up a roster spot getting Merriman back. That means he was got to backup Kelsey? Picture that Lights out backing up Kelsey. wow Anyway I hope that he can at least still play the run well. We need some help there. but this is a surprising move to say the least.

My thing is the Bills front office has to see what we see. Overthrows, underthrows to wide open WR's. I have seen Stevie fustrated more than a few times this season, being wide ass open and the ball no where near him. As some posters have said why get TJax if they don't have plans for him?? That being said Fitz is the guy for this year. Only way a change happens is because of injury. Chan has hitched his wagon to Fitz. I hope that Fitz plays better . That's the only hope we have for this year folks get used to it.

Let me refresh CJ should start meaning he should get the bulk of the carries. Sometimes I think I'm smarter than these people at OBD. lol

I had just bruised ribs when I feel on the ball and somebody landed on top of me after recovering a fumble and I couldnt even breathe without serious pain. Kolb must be taking some STRONG meds for this. I feel sorry for him big time.

I not opposed to using both players but I think CJ should get the most of the carries. Yes you are correct by saying Fred is the stronger back and still can be used effectively in 3and 2 and goalline . But to split carries at this point seems like Gailey trying to keep em both happy. Not anymore CJ is the better back period and should get the most touches. so far its a landslide 70 percent see that Spiller should get most of the carries. Maybe we can use the 70- 30 split in carries. Say if CJ get 20 carries a game which by the way is only 5 per quarter don't you think he is gonna break off a big run say 2 or 3 times a game? To me you got to get your most explosive player on the field as much as possible.

Looks like the halftime show is gonna be better than the commercials this yr. I love B let her do her thang.

Fred Jackson is one of my favorite All-time Bills. Thought i'd say that first off. What he has done since being a Bill, where he came from and what he means to this team you can't measure. I respect him enough to buy his jersey. What he did before getting hurt was amazing. But.... This year is different and so is C.J. Spillers game has gone up maybe 2 notches from last year. He was putting up MVP type numbers before he hurt his shoulder. In the AZ game he seemed back to his Madden ways. He reminds me of a faster Marshall Faulk if that's even possible. I say its time to let him get the bulk of the carries. Its Spiller time. This is what they saw when the drafted him and now its time. Let the man get 22-25 carries a game and when the Bills line gets back to full strength so he is gonna be even better. You can show Fred some love in goal line situations because he is the stronger back. But let C.J. move the ball down the field. What yall think?
