hey we had 4 Super bowl years in a row.... At least we can say we got there. It the football Gods getting back at us for that. They have never forgave us for not winning one....yea that's gotta be it lol. My Father ( RIP pops) had a tryout with the Bills back in the AFL days. We lived blocks away from the Rockpile. It was my destiny to be a Bills Fan, that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

dont get me wrong , I agree with you. Had to be rust because we have seen EJ play better. But that said he has not looked good on the road so far . EJ was not confident yesterday for some reason. Maybe he was playing not to get hurt. And that will hurt your game more than anything. Jets have an experienced OC, we don't. That can hurt his game as well. opps your right. not comparing EJ to Peyton but just saying his first season was an learning experience as well.

I did as well. Byrd set them up nice at the start. They had a chance to take control of the game early and they blew it. I never heard a home crowd so quite at the beginning of the game. Last week they should have won and I think it took alot out of the teams mojo.

Well what did you expect?? They had to keep things simple for him in his first game back. And there game plan was to run the ball. And they should have ran it. But they didn't run it well at all and that was a big surprise to me. But this what you expect from a loser franchise. I thought Thad played better than EJ but they got to give the first rounder a chance to play and see if can do it. It's gonna be like this the rest of the season. Don't forget Payton Manning was 1-15 his first season. Even if EJ loses he gonna play. And we got find out what he has and can he do it on a regular basis. But I like E J. so far. He was rusty and it showed. He will be alright don't forget he didnt have his fav target Woods out there. Playcalling was an issue. They have to find ways to give C.J. the ball more, reverses, screens, toss plays I like to see CJ involved much more. I expect the playbook to open up more at home next week. Part of what you say is true. Yesterday was pitful.

to the OP I am going to join you in bashing Gilmore. He is getting beat in games. Forget how he looks in practice. The games count and he gonna have to do something in these last games to convince me he was worth a first round pick. there I said it. Worst game of season, think Thad would have played better. I really do. We almost out of it in early Nov. once again. Losers still.

EJ still learning, but he gots to give Stevie a chance -
good post. This will let Stevie and EJ gain some chemistry. Plus dont forget about Chandler (if he can hang on to the catch) and CJ out the backfield, get the ball to him in space., Chan was good at that and its missing from this offence.

So the team that has the better running games wins... I expect C.J. AND Freddie balling today. That why we win today, no excuses -

Man I love the grass field, way the game should be played. If the Bills don't win today I will disappointed for real. -
Would have been even a better season if he had not been pressed into playing QB because of injuries at the position. But he has impressed me as well. He gonna get even better with more time played in this system.

The Bills match up well with the Steelers . It would not surprise me if they win it, more so with EJ back. They will miss Woods tho as I think he was becoming EJ's fav target.

Did you buy EA Sports Madden between 2003 and 2012?
Bufcomments replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
sure i did buy EA games for cheap but for plenty of years I payed full price for them as well. I have been buying Madden almost every year since it came out. Just in the last few years I have been waiting for the price to come down because like most people feel that the product quality of the game has slipped, mainly due to the fact they had no comp because of the deal with the NFL. So I feel justified by making my claim. Regardless of how you spin it. -

yup this A for years i paid for a product that could have been better, without all the glitches, so yea i felt i deserve some money. I paid out way more than the money i received, so EA still wins. No matter if you filed or not. -
Jonathan Martin AWOL, Incognito suspended
Bufcomments replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what i have been saving all along, Martin should have handled his business and took him in the parking lot and said lets get it on. If he would have just did that win or lose the drama would be over. And they would both still be on the team. -

Update.... Remember back in April I think it was where you could file if you bought EA madden games between 2003-2012 ? It was Pecover vs EA. You could file online . I hope some of you did it. I got a check in the mail today for 100 bucks. Easy money if you filed. If you haven' t received a check if you filed look for it. -
with any stroke there are long lasting problems. A TIA is a serious warning that you might have the real stroke sooner than later. I know first hand from my Mom, she has had 2 major strokes and 2 TIA's. Any stroke is no joke let me tell ya. The recovery period is long since there is brain damage. She recovered from her first stroke nicely almost back too normal. The second one really disabled her to the point that she needs daily care. I hope Coach never has to go threw what my Mom did.

The Bills and the last wildcard spot

The Bills and the last wildcard spot
Bufcomments replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even tho anything is possible the Bills chances are slim to none at this point. They had a chance to beat NE, Browns and Chiefs and didn't finish. This team could easily be 6-3 instead of 3-6. If they do make the playoffs then Coach Marrone should be coach of the year. -

First of all I hate the Dolphins that being said.... Martin is a grown ass man. He should handle his business. If another man says he gonna blank down your throat then I would invite him to try and do it. Lets go in the parking lot and lets get it on. That would earn him some rep in the locker room. But this is the thing that gets me. I have seen film where him and Incognito sit on the bench next to each other THIS season. If the bullying was that serious, would you sit next to the guy?? There is more to this than being reported. I don't think we will ever know all the details. But im so glad its the Dolphins , now they are down two starters on the line that was weak to begin with. You know Mario is thinking imma get 4 sacks against these guys next time we play them. -
I like this assessment of the team at mid season
Bufcomments replied to Kellyto83TD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think its spot on. They need one more play making LB and one starter at LG and one backup OL. Injuries are just part of any team . But Manuel has to learn how to protect himself. But some of that is just bad luck. What is most important is the B grade on coaching, which is an serious upgrade from last year. We are not that far away folks, and I am looking forward to the 2nd half of the season. -
Good question, good post but without reading the other posts..... First CJ is not 100 percent yet, that may be the most important thing even tho the week off clearly helped him. Second , I think Fred is a better at finding those small holes to run through than CJ. But I think that they need to spread teams out on the goal line. I would like to see all our best weapons on the field when we get close to scoring. We can still run out of a spread set. Like to see us use Stevie , Woods, Chandler, CJ and Fred on the field at the same time when we get deep in the red zone more often. This way you can kick out one of the backs into the slot and now you have match up problems for the Defense. There is no way I want Graham out there in the red zone.
