  1. While I agree with the top one albeit I see a lot more nuances and trade offs than most probably, I vehemently disagree with the second. Politics are a microcosm of religion and in many cases have even Evolved to become religion. They are both simply mechanisms to control people.
  2. A bit contradictory these two lines, or maybe self deprecating... and a fine example of how polarized this country is. But Joe being less of a scum bag then Trump is probably a fairly easily defended position.
  3. Thanks for the back handed compliment. None of those. I spend most of my time talking football here, I was just curious post election what was happening here in PPP at present and if there was any interesting topics. in general I know politics equal religion. You can only hope to understand others, maybe educate them on something they’ve not seen. No one is changing anyone’s mind.
  4. That’s clear but why the hate for your own people like joe? I see so like you’d support Hitler over Stalin because he had a better economic plan kind of thing? or maybe Stalin Might have actually killed a lot more but His position on choice was good? it can’t all just be unacceptable right?
  5. yeah Trump lying isn’t new. I’m merely asserting challenging election outcomes is the norm and both parties not only do it, but that’ll keep escalating too. What Those that ally themselves to one party miss here is I’m not saying one is right. I’m saying both are wrong and it’s a trend that’s going to continue to get worse. Our two party system is garbage and it’s broken. If I redacted the politician names I’d say you sort of come across more like the trump types I hear about here. Joe Biden for 8 years? Bro he’s 77. And hate Biden? Hate? What’s up with some people
  6. Ok- I’m sure if the parties were reversed your opinion would differ. But ok. And death threats and harassment to the electorate is ok right?
  7. Clinton campaign general counsel Marc Elias said their campaign would join Stein's recount ....filed for a recount in Pennsylvania on November 28,[572] and in Michigan on November 30.[573] Intense lobbying (in one case involving claims of harassment and death threats)[584] and grass-rootscampaigns were directed at various GOP electors of the United States Electoral College[585] to convince a sufficient number of them (37) to not vote for Trump, thus precluding a Trump presidency. ———————-_ Gosh just read the two things above and dates. Different tactics, both deplorable and denigrating to democracy, same objective. Again ffs denying Clinton challenged the election Vigorously is a lie. She reneged her concession. Trump and hilly were either both right or both wrong, but they did the same thing. Trumps just being more overtly belligerent about it true to form. The guy lost but he’s going to try everything he can to make it untrue, just like Clinton. This is why I can’t stand political parties. People love all objectivity
  8. I mean I pulled the cited stuff and posted above. But don’t believe it, I don’t care. All these politicians are corrupt and are willing to do anything for the power. Believe what you want.
  9. I mean it’s clear where you stand, but there are Clear historical facts that the Clinton campaign worked really hard to overturn that election. Then she reneged and filed for recount in four states!!!! 🤦‍♂️ then took legal action to attempt electoral college voters to vote ‘their conscience”(Clinton) instead of their constituents. there were even cases of death threats and harassment to avert them from voting their districts outcome. This protracted election uncertainty is going to be the new normal in this growing divisive crap show called American politics. Im not taking sides here. These are hard facts. just like I’m sure the guy there now is going to try every angle he can. This is about power. This has nothing to with good vs evil, right verses wrong..
  10. just like 50 million people thought gore won and Hilary won. I’m telling you, mirror image. Just about anyone in a political office will lie cheat and steal.... it’s all about the power. Republicans are scared of trump because he’s so volatile, but a generational talent in terms of self promotion and installing narratives and whether it’s good or bad in ones view he did deliver on some of his promises. I mean he’s probably at best a sociopath but I’m not so sure that’s uncommon in that level of politics or business. That movie Vice did a great job of laying out how these political factions operate And what they value. What you see on camera from both parties is all smoke and mirrors. I wish they’d bar anyone over 66 from running. People in their 70s aren’t in their prime.
  11. I’m not sure who isn’t accepting the election outside of the trump campaign, I’m just saying the Clinton campaigns didn’t either. what you are witnessing now is what will continue to be the new post election playbook. gore challenged Florida results in his election and I’m sure McCain or Obama would have if Barack hadn’t won in such a massive landslide. Tactics and tools in this big of a systemic power struggle aren’t going away. It’s just going to get more divisive.
  12. I really don’t care which corrupt self serving party won, but 2016 was literally a mirror image of the losing party not accepting the outcome. Some exceperts from the pretty neutral Wikipedia: Following the announcement of Trump's election, large protests broke out across the United States with some continuing for several days.[541][542][543][544] Protesters have held up a number of different signs and chanted various shouts including "Not my president" and "We don't accept the president-elect."[545][541] The movement organized on Twitterunder the hashtags #Antitrump and #NotMyPresident.[546][547] High school and college students walked out of classes to protest.[548] At a few protests fires were lit, flags and other items were burned and people yelled derogatory remarks about Trump. Rioters also broke glass at certain locations.[549][550] Celebrities such as Madonna, Cher, and Lady Gaga took part in New York.[551][552][553] Some protesters took to blocking freeways in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Portland, Oregon, and were dispersed by police in the early hours of the morning.[554][555] In a number of cities, protesters were dispersed with rubber bullets, pepper spray and bean-bags fired by police.[556][557][558] In New York City, calls were made to continue the protests over the coming days after the election.[559] Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti expressed understanding of the protests and praised those who peacefully wanted to make their voices heard.[560] After the election, computer scientists, including J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, urged the Clinton campaign to request an election recount in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania (three swing states where Trump had won narrowly) Stein filed for a recount in Wisconsin on November 25,[570] after which Clinton campaign general counsel Marc Elias said their campaign would join Stein's recount efforts in that state and possibly others "in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides."[384][571] Stein subsequently filed for a recount in Pennsylvania on November 28,[572] and in Michigan on November 30.[573] Concurrently, American Delta Party/Reform Party presidential candidate Rocky De La Fuente sought and was granted a partial recount in Nevada that was unrelated to Stein's efforts.[386] Electoral College lobbying Intense lobbying (in one case involving claims of harassment and death threats)[584] and grass-rootscampaigns were directed at various GOP electors of the United States Electoral College[585] to convince a sufficient number of them (37) to not vote for Trump, thus precluding a Trump presidency.[586]Members of the Electoral College themselves started a campaign for other members to "vote their conscience for the good of America" in accordance with Alexander Hamilton's Federalist Paper No. 68.[587][588][589][590] Former candidate Lawrence Lessig and attorney Laurence Tribe established The Electors Trust on December 5 under the aegis of Equal Citizens to provide pro bono legal counsel as well as a secure communications platform for members of the Electoral College who were considering a vote of conscience against Trump.[591]
  13. Remember when George W won and the Clinton staffers trashed the whitehouse, removed the Ws from the computer keyboards. im glad your already retired, I hope to get there someday too. too many sheeple think this is a right versus wrong, good versus bad, and don’t realize they are getting played by political elites from both sides. im almost convinced the opposing parties all go off camera, close the doors and laugh their arses off about fooling the sheep.
  14. She even conceded, then reneged and started filing suits if I recall. But I disdain both political parties their respective hypocrisy, dishonesty and corruption so I might not be the answerer you are looking for.
  15. when joe gets into the whitehouse, CNN and MSNBC will stop talking about covid except for what a great job is Now being done, while fox will start hammering Covid and talk about how it’s getting worse than ever. Bank on it.
  16. My take is this is more about Allen’s propensity to hold the ball and try to extend the play. rarely see him immediately hit the hot WR on the blitz. It’s probably the last part of his game to develop. It’s just a matter of experience, he will get there.
  17. PFFfffffffffftttt. Can’t be true. this data set is incredible. I know on target vs not is subjective. But it suggests not only has he defeated the argument that his college accuracy was uncorrectable. He may actually have ELITE accuracy at this point. And he’s still developing. bravo mcbeane.
  18. I believe the Bills are the reason. If jests win out and Bills lose out, both teams would be 7-9, with bills having the head to head tiebreaker.
  19. I’m not picking on Booger, but he kind of clogs up the airways with a bunch of junk.
