  1. Per the Facebook you are correct. Buffalo Bills Head Coach Dick Jauron said Monday that QB Trent Edwards will not play this weekend vs. the Houston Texans. Ryan Fitzpatrick will get his second start.
  2. I have Slaton on Fantasy Football, he is not as much of a running threat, but he does get a lot of passes. He has 1 fumble a game as well. I would be worried about Matt Schaub and Owen Daniels.
  3. The offense sucks no doubt. Fitz is not a long term solution. I think people are just happy to see some resemblance of an NFL QB. After you watch 4 games full of checkdowns and sacks it does not take much to get excited about. Edwards set an extremely low bar.
  4. Agreed they weren't the best throws, but they hit his hands and he makes no effort to make the catch. It isn't a question of his abilities, it is his will to make even a mediocre attempt.
  5. It is a known fact that Owens drops balls. That being said I was thinking the same thing yesterday, he is not putting in ANY effort to catch the ball. Since the checkdown king was benched we've seen several throws to Owens, which results in a dropped ball. Seems like Fitz and Evans may have a little chemistry, I would just avoid Owens at this point.
  6. My thoughts exactly, the Byrd is the word.
  7. Fitz makes the throws that Edwards won't, it isn't pretty but much more enjoyable to watch. He didn't get any help on those dropped passes. Kinda wondering now if I should have dropped Lee Evans from my fantasy team.
  8. I think all you would hear is hollow breathing, kinda like Darth Vader. Wouldn't be very exciting.
  9. I like that TO quote, where he explains how a competent offense would make adjustments to get him away from the double team and get him the ball. He may not be the same TO of old, but I think with a real offense and QB his numbers would be much better.
  10. I have seen enough of Trent, if Fitz totally stinks it up then send in Hamdan.
  11. I want to see the Bills win games, but ultimately I do not want to see the team give Wilson any excuse to hold on to Jauron. Kind of a double edged sword.
  12. I don't think that Fitz is our savior by any means, but how can people say they still want edwards as the starter? We have been watching 1 season and a half of Edwards regressing to the checkdown king. Fitz came in off the bench distributed the ball around the field, and anticipated and escaped pressure. Hell I saw a pump fake....when was the last time a bills QB did that. Give him a chance with a full week of practice and then lets decide. I would rather watch his frightening throws then the predictable checkdown king.
  13. Does Lindell like kicking from the right hash mark? Both times we ran to the right so he was kicking from that side of the field. And I have no idea why we settled in the 4th quarter instead of running atleast one more play to get Lindell closer.
  14. White power...no, your going to an extreme there. Ralph and Jauron can be seen as national figures because they are an owner and coach of an NFL team. This is no different then a billboard put up during a political campaign (actually probably more tasteful). If you seen the message it does not attack either of them and is no way derogatory. I do not think this looks bad on Buffalo.
  15. Welcome to America where freedom of speech is allowed. All the billboard says is the consumer (Buffalo) is not happy with Jauron's perfomance and would like him replaced. There is no attacks on him as a person or his family. If your an idiot at your job you would most likely be fired as well. It is like a 5$ donation......on par with a happy meal or beer at a bar. Tell me you never spent 5$ on something that was uneeded and not charitable.
  16. Wow people are high and mighty on this kid. Dick and Ralph are public figures and because of this are not immune to public scrutiny. Hats off to the kid taking some initiative and getting his message heard/seen.
  17. That is good news, hope they aren't rushing him back though.
  18. And Jauron is half the reason we have such an abortion of an O-Line and he seems to be ok with that. Remove/replace Jauron with a non retard competent coach and watch (hopefully) our O-Line woes begin to correct themselves. Remove the cancer and begin the healing process.
  19. Buffalo Bills Recent free agent acquisitions LB Chris Draft, DB Todd Johnson and LB Anthony Waters are expected to practice with the team Wednesday.
  20. Tired of the O-Line excuse for Edwards. Yes the O-Line sucks and it is not helping him, but as been stated before you look at Roethlisberger and Rodgers, they are able to throw for 300 yard games even though they are continuously hurried and sacked. I would like to see just a glimpse that Edwards is an NFL caliber QB and it is not there. There are plenty of times he does have a pocket and time to throw and it usually ends in a quick checkdown.
  21. Fitz could be a huge disaster, but at this point I want to find out. Really how much worse can it get?
  22. Why is it clear cut? This Sunday Lynch was better/had more yards, and last week the opposite.
