The hope for this team going forward is a complete overhaul from the top down. Jauron is out and hopefully more to come. Edwards is ripe with Jauron stink so he as well needs to go. I do not think Edwards is an NFL QB, but if somehow he went to another team and became the next Favre then good for him.

I am with you on the QB situation, at this point I do not care who starts. They can take turns for all that matters. Heck let Hamdan give it a go.

Like so many of the recent "blockbusters" all your going to see is some awesome special effects, sub-par acting, and a weak story line.

I'll take a below average NFL QB over these below average backup QB's we currently have. Gotta take it in baby steps, I do not think Buffalo could handle seeing a high caliber QB playing for the Bills yet.

Honest question....do you feel even if there was no defensive line attacking Trent he would still be able to make throws? Give him a 6 second count before bringing the pass rush. I know the pressure hurts him, but I think he is incapable of throwing the ball in anticipation of the receiver or trusting the WR to make the play. I bet he would still check down.

I don't think Hamdan will be any better, but you never know and in all honesty what do we have to lose?

I get what your saying, seems like Jauron and company have turned everything promising into a steaming pile. Right now Byrd is 1 bright spot on this team and hopefully he can stay that way.

I have zero expectations for this team at this point in time. I will watch the games, but not going to get emotionally invested.

He is definitely not a bust financially for both Ralph and Owens. Productivity on the field could be considered a bust, even though as stated before he does work as somewhat of a threat/decoy which helps the rest of the offense.

Fair enough he doesn't say anything about how easy or (hard) they practice, just they get plenty of rest time. I read into it that the practices aren't as intensive as other places he has been and this works for his older body. Either way Dick is a horrible coach.

That is what I read out of it. They don't practice too hard and have plenty of down time which would accommodate a player nearing the end of his career. If that isn't his meaning then what?

He was pressured alot and was hit a few times while throwing. He also had several dropped passes by his receivers in the first half. No doubt he was throwing some ugly balls, but I will take any day over the predictable checkdown. Trent was going to get either Freddy or Lynch injured because defenses were keying up on the checkdown.

1. Checking the ball down, and taking sacks. 2. Spreading the field and distributing the ball to the WR core (not always pretty). Avoiding pressure and sacks. 3. Fitzpatrick is not as predictable, and somewhat keeps the defense from guessing. He is not afraid to throw the ball and make a play, which he has so far. As pathetic as our offense is, we have a much better chance of moving the ball and scoring with Fitzpatrick at the helm.

It is tough to catch balls in the NFL.
