  1. And dont forget the free college education Im sure he didnt bother to think twice about. Granted many NFL players dont utilize that, but it was there. Didnt care? Fine, he had the talent and opportunity to make enough money in a few short years to set himself and his family up for life, all while being famous. There is no excuse for this guy.
  2. I just totally owned someone at work. Another Bills fan was explaining how sick he is that they got Owens, and another Co-worker was putting him down. I stood up and asked if they heard he was getting an award today for raising Alzheimer's awareness, and I wondered why ESPN doesnt report that. Instead, its a top story that he is missing an optional work out. Shut them right up.
  3. I dont feel bad for this dum-dum whatsoever. The guy has had every golden opportunity in life and has wasted it all somewhat gradually, with plenty of warnings. He deserves anything coming to him. I just wish the best for all the kids who have this scumbag as a father.
  4. How many days after the Monday night game, does the official issue the apology to the Bills for mis-interpreting the 'feet on the ground' rule.
  5. I would likely be done with the NFL. If not, I would join the Dog Pound
  6. he was in such great shape last season, I dont see any need for him to work out.
  7. honestly i dont think anyone would go
  8. why isnt this called the Wilfork rule?
  9. i would love to see how many times a defense has been flagged for Roughing The Passer against Brady, vs. defenses flagged against other teams less marketable. And also Roughing The Passer penalties against the Patriots. It seems on the surface, there is a ton going for the Pats and it doesnt seem like Brady gets a rougher ride tan anyone else. When they arent flagged for it, Brady cries to the refs and gets away with a tantrum. With a puke like Wilfork around, you would think the Pats would get more flags than the opponents.
  10. does this include the QB getting flushed out and tripped up from behind by a diving defender?
  11. I was angry about the exclusivity contract. Last summer I got Directv after I became fed up with yet another cable company. I have moved around the country and ALWAYS have issues with cable companies. I couldnt be happier with Directv.
  12. I the NFL went 1 additional game and it became a 'neutral site game', I would be in support of that game being put in Toronto. As far as any more of our home games: Absolutely not. If that happens the Bills lost me, and likely the NFL too.
  13. Im not. It has been verified to me now that the plan is to get the Bills up there. We need the game to change quickly. The thing that pisses me off is we get bagged for the lowest ticket prices. The team showed a little promise this year and suddenly all my friends wanted to go. Looking for second hand tickets, the prices were off the charts and tickets were being gobbled up at high prices. The team is terrible for a decade, tickets are priced modestly to the point they can get sellouts. And as much as the NFL portrays the image of a sellout every game in every city, that is not the truth.
  14. I have a group of friends (ages 24-35) in the Montreal/Ottawa area. Their views on this are strange. They really like the NFL and follow it. However, they like the CFL more and are 100% against the NFL playing any regular games in Toronto, and 100% against them ever getting a franchise.
  15. this just validates the fact that this 5 year deal is a gradual progression to move the team to Toronto. The time to fight this is now, anyone with clout who wants the Bills to stay. Write your elected officials. Let them know how you feel.
  16. the talk of having another home game in Toronto doesnt make me feel like the Bills are trying to secure their place in Buffalo. This is bad, and sinister. We are all about to get f'd over
  17. ^^^^ Thats a good idea. I could live with that for now. (the opening kickoff idea)
  18. I like the college OT and it would work in the NFL if each team started at the 50 . With that said, they need to allow for another possession to 'match'. The fact that any tie game can be decided on a combination between a coin toss and a questionable penalty should scream change.
  19. I know it has been said before. But if the team is so desparate to collect any revenue stream possible, why the %$&* is the stadium named Ralph Wilson Stadium? Oh I forgot. Buffalo is the only place in the world that cant get a corporate sponsor for naming rights. (even though the scope/exposure of the league is National
  20. It would truly suck. I would either be done with the NFL... or I would choose another team it would be the Browns.
  21. Id be a fan of the move. Pretty much solidifies a DL at the 11th pick and decreases the likelihood of trading down. But can Schoumann or Fine do just as well as Scheffler?
  22. its an arms race in the AFC East. I would love for the Bills to do a little more here.
  23. http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d...mp;confirm=true here is a blurb I found from last year.
  24. I thought about going, but an article talked me out of it. You should wait in line the night before. They hand out wristbands/or tickets at some point. It is general admission, so you shouldnt leave the line even when you get your wristband. I think I am better off going to the Bills' draft party or watch it on TV. If you go, good luck and have fun.
