  1. Might want to wait until pre season games begin if ya can. Gotta see how well that line blocks in Romans complex run scheme. Last season once Evan Mathis went down with an injury Shady suddenly looked a lot like CJ in looking around for an opening when there wasn't any. I picked up Fredex after Spiller went out, and he helped me win my league.
  2. yep What a lot of fans just don't get is its like putting a square peg into a round hole in trying to switch up a young QB from a WCO background into a deep passing type system. Is it any wonder why Edwards was always looking for the check down or outlet because he simply didn't have the time to make the deep throws. Schemes matter, game plans matter. Dick Jauron and his clown car coaches. It will be interesting to see how new Bills OC Greg Roman implements his power run scheme with the current line players on the roster. Arguably one of the most complex run schemes in the NFL today. If run correctly it should help take some major heat away from the QB.
  3. I know it can be difficult but next time perhaps watch the line players and who they are blocking vs watching the QB's. So much easier to watch one guy (QB) then try to see what 5 other guys are doing in practice at the same time. The coaches will see whats going on after watching the tapes. We all will be able to see once pre season starts. per the bolded: that is especially important when the games move RWS as those swirling winds can wreck havoc with the weaker arms.
  4. Edwards was from a West Coast Offense in college to a Mike Martz offense (think 2000 St Louis Rams) installed by Steve Fairchild, and run by he and Turk Schornert -Alex Van Pelt. Which would be like asking Joe Montana to make plays in a deep passing offense with a sub par line. When the line went downhill for the Rams it got Warner killed, and then got Marc Bulgar killed. Then once Martz was fired by the Rams, and he took his offense to Chicago it got Cutler killed. Kinda why no one will hire the guy now. Is it any wonder why Edwards left Buffalo with at least 5 severe concussions on his resume. As far as the next starting Bills QB is concerned. One big factor to consider is how much arm strength the player has because in those swirling winds at RWS they will need a cannon. Then as the season progresses into the winter months things get even worse.
  5. Playing center is not like playing on an island and its very important who is playing next to them. Incognito might be the named starting LG but that doesn't mean he or the rookie at RG are playing at a starting level. I'm not giving Wood a pass but lets not forget who was playing RG last year, and who is now playing RG. Pears at RG was an absolute disaster last year, and its difficult for the center to play up to his ability when you have such a bad player / players next to him. Then in 2013 it was Doug Legursky who we know was a bum, and is history just like Pears. Gonna be interesting to see how the line performs in the pre season games.
  6. Good stuff, thanks for posting. The bolded is the real scary part, and lets hope they get better as TC goes on. Lastly, I'm hearing from friends attending camp that lots of the past sponsors seemed to have bailed from previous years.
  7. Luck, really? Don't you think its strange that the first 24 teams had such a urgency at other needs that they chose to pass on arguably the best future QB in the league. Then, when the world was wondering just what the hell was wrong with Thompson in wanting to replace a not yet done elite superstar QB they already had on the Packers roster in QB Brett Favre. That man had the courage of his convictions in knowing that Rodgers would even be able to replace a future hall of fame player with perhaps another future hall of fame player before the guy even took a snap in an NFL regular season game. Me personally, I highly doubt there was another man on the planet who saw in Rodgers what Ted Thompson saw, and In my view the Buffalo Bills are in desperate need for a man with Thompson's vision of both offensive, defensive future NFL talent. A man like this would certainly help a younger GM better realize his full potential. JMO Finally, I suppose I'm just a more demanding type of guy who wants to see actual results in terms of playoff appearances before I blissfully agree with everyone else on an A grade. Like I said, I love the man for keeping the teams in Buffalo. However, I'm also hoping the Bills aren't five years down the road from now as the worst team in the league, and anticipating that all those early draft picks will eventually make them a playoff contender.
  8. How dare anyone say anything remotely derogatory about your beloved teams, right? An old retread just might be the answer to helping a new NFL owner comprehend whats involved in owning an NFL team. He intended to hire one, and he would have been smart to do so. Right now the GM in his 3rd year answers to the newbie owner & team president who is a marketing guy, and neither have the expertise in running the football side of operations. Then hiring current Packers GM Ted Thompson away from the Packers and promoting him to team president of football operations which is exactly what an old retread adviser would recommend to help find an elite QB like Aaron Rodgers. Current GM Doug Whaley is going on his third off season / regular season, and the team still has no defined "franchise" QB and is still fielding a lackluster offensive line. Last years O line was the very worst it has been in years, and an ordinary OG who left in free agency after the 2012 season still hasn't been properly replaced. Or am I wrong? Whaley himself stated this year that the offensive line was "a loss" in an otherwise winning off season for the Bills in free agency. The man clearly needs help in acquiring offensive line players, and in finding / acquiring a franchise QB. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/03/24/whaley-offensive-line-a-loss-in-otherwise-winning-offseason-for-bills/ As for the Sabres, their record says it all as in worst in the league. When Tom Golisano bought back in 2003 the team it was mired in turmoil with the previous owner going to jail, a financial wreck. Yet Golisano managed to get the team straightened out and back into the playoffs by 2005, and one freaking win away from a Stanley cup championship in 2006. Pegula is going into the 6th year of ownership. The Sabres could have every star player in the league and still suck, lose if they don't have talented coaches. Once they start winning games, and actually making the playoffs then you can say that all the tanking they have done was a success. Sabre fans can start gloating how great they are once they are no longer the worst team in the league. I love Terry Pegula as an owner, and him keeping the teams in Buffalo. Still, both teams need to make the playoffs before they get top grades from me.
  9. I am exceedingly disappointed that although the new owner started out with the intention of hiring an experienced football man such as Ernie Accorci, Ron Wolf, and had actual talks with Bill Polian. The sad fact is we still see no football czar to help guide young GM Doug Whaley in finding a franchise QB, or even some really good O linemen. Scorched earth rebuild policy....as for the Sabres in their 5th year, and the team actually made the playoffs their first year. 3rd playoffs, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 8th, as they went from bad to worse. So, will they end up being the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the 80's who were always drafting first, and could never put that talent to work to win games. You need both player talent, and coaching talent. The Bucs had Steve Young at QB and still managed to go 2-14. Some teams have tried this in the past and have failed. Like Edmonton, Florida, the old Islanders, and Atlanta Thrashers. Kinda early to see what the Bills will be over the next 3 years with no franchise QB just yet, and I sure hope they don't end up going the scorched earth rebuild plan should the offense falter this year.
  10. Couldn't have said better, and signing that bum for that much money was a serious head scratcher for me because he was the very worst player on a bad Rams line. Kinda like the Doug Legursky signing from the Steelers who was much cheaper. I'm still awaiting the day the Bills build an offensive line that is good enough to stand up to their vaunted D line.
  11. That, and I can recall always reading articles pushing Tallywhacker by stating if he doesn't improve he would be replaced by Matt Moore. Genuine competition usually generates success. 4045 yards 27 TD's vs 12 INTs tells me the kid is improving. Plus he was also the 3rd most sacked QB last year with 46 sacks. If the Dolphins upgrade their line properly this off season... then watch out for the Phins!
  12. Hrmm, not how I remember it. Asking EJ to pass the ball 44 times against a decent Texans pass rush was more then moronic, it was sub moronic. Calling Hackett a moron is insulting to the real morons of the world. The Bills passing EJ 21 of 44 for 225 2 TD's, 2 INT's vs 23 rushes for 96 yards. Spiller 15 for 60 yards, longest went for 22 yards. Jackson 7 for 33, longest went for 14 yards EDIT: OK after posting that was a mess. Just read it here. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201409280htx.htm Bills series in that game went like this. 1st series-Pass, Pass, Pass, Punt 2nd series-Run 2 yds, sack, pass, run 5 yds, pass, run -3 yds, Punt 3rd series-Run 4 yds, sack, pass, Punt 4th series-Run 1 yd, pass, pass, pass, TO, run- no gain, TO, penalty, pass, FG 5th series-Run 7 yds, pass, pass, run 1 yd, run 14 yards, TO, run 9 yards, pass, pass, TD 6th series-Pass, pass, TO, pass, run 1 yrd, pass, Punt 7th series-Pass, pass, pass, spike, pass End of half **Edit** Now looking back at that first half the Bills had EJ attempt 21 passes, and he was sacked 2x on second down attempting to pass. vs 10 runs for a total of 41 yards. On the 5th series the Bills ran 4 times for, 7, 1, 14, 9, and passed 4 times, incomplete, 6 yards, 7 yards, 5 yards for a TD. It looks to me that when the Bills ran more they were more successful, and it took the heat off EJ which allowed him to complete more passes. It also looks to me by running the ball more would have effectively second half, INT- What gets me on that first series in the 2nd half the Bills opened up with two runs, one for 3 yards, and the next for 4 yards so all they needed was 3 yards on 3rd down. brainiac Hacket pulls a Chan Gailey, and calls for a pass on 3rd down. Punt Punt Punt Punt TD Punt INT I can't emphasize enough how much utilizing the run game more often helps a young QB, and even if the run game isn't working all that well like in 2013, it still helps take heat off the QB, and keeps the defense honest. To sum it up:The first two games the Bills ran more and threw less, and won both games. Then for some unknown reason wanted to pass 40+ times a game. Last year the Bills coaches were the epitome of how not to develop a young QB by forcing him to shoulder the entire offense in the Charger / Texan games. Then they started Orton and rode him the exact same way, and fans wonder why that one dimensional offense stunk. Thanks man. Glad somebody took the time to read it
  13. I beg to differ because just after the Bills signed Harvin at 6 mill per Whaley stated the Bills were done signing free agents. After signing Harvin his words, “To put it bluntly, everybody’s celebrating our victories, but we’ve had some losses in this free agency” period “and it happened to be on the offensive line,” General Manager Doug Whaley said Tuesday during the NFL meeting here." "At only $5.28 million under the NFL salary cap, the Bills don’t have any room left for more major acquisitions." “We’re tapped out,” Whaley said. “We’re at the point now where we’ve got to save” cap space “for the draft choices and for injury replacements next year. So anything we do from now on will basically be minimum” salaried “guys." http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/03/24/whaley-offensive-line-a-loss-in-otherwise-winning-offseason-for-bills/ Had the Bills not signed Harvin for that 6 mill I would think that Whaley would have continued looking for upgrades at RT & RG. After all it was clearly the weakest area of the team last year, and OT Brian Bulaga / OG Jhari Evans would have been known solid huge upgrades.
  14. I think GM Doug Whaley came into the off season with a great plan to run the ball more and be less dependent on a QB he doesn't have. CJ Spiller only had 5 game starts last year with only 36 game starts out of 70 games in his 5 years. Which is not very dependable for a starting RB. Shady OTOH has 76 game starts out of 90 for his six year career. The Bills might be paying 2x what Spiller got but they are also getting a superior player who has been the best RB in the league for the last 5 years. We don't know if Kiko will recover 100% to the player he was before his injury. Where I think Whaley faltered in his plan was with the Ryan wanting to sign WR / KR Percy Harvin for 6 mill per, and that derailed his desire to obtain a better starting RT, and RG. Not upgrading those two positions with top known talent might just be not enough to help Shady be a top rusher this season. The salary cap situation could be a big problem, and there is already talk that the Bills won't resign LT Cordy Glenn next off season, and allow him to walk. For me the guy to jettison to keep Glenn is Harvin for 6 mill per, and in all honesty I don't get the hype for a WR / KR that has never had 1k receiving yards in a year. Seems like a lot of money for a KR / WR. Gonna be interesting to see what happens with the team if Eli Manning or Phillip Rivers should they become available.
  15. I can see the frustration Marrone might have needed to endure with EJ's, Jeff Tuel's, and Thaddeus Lewis's lack of development because the dimwit caused most of it himself by not hiring a QB coach nor having a seasoned veteran QB on the roster the first season. A vet QB / coach that the players can go to after a series and discuss what transpired good or bad. Players need constant input during the course of a game, week, month, season. They need film study by competent coaches after every game to break down every play to see what happened during the course of each series. Like with the all 22 films the players need to watch things over and over to see how defenses will react to each play, and what happened on the field so they can be ready the next time they run that play. Most important of all they need actual game experience! Then someone coaching them competent enough to diagnose what went right or wrong on each play, series, game. Its almost darned near impossible to learn the NFL ropes or any difficult job all on your own, and EJ was on his own that first season. The only real NFL help EJ got in doing his job over the last two years was from Vet QB Kyle Orton, and he was probably teaching Hackett his job too. I think it says a lot to me that a big part of Marrone's decision to opt out was because Orton was 100% gone, and not coming back. Marrone called him again to make certain he was retiring for good. No offense to Todd Downing but it must have been a very difficult job dealing with Hackett as OC. QB Teddy Bridgewater has an actual NFL offensive genius tutoring him on a decent team, and a man who has been a coach at every level. His best ability is being an offensive coordinator no question, and as an HC not so great. This same man tutored at least one NFL QB in Troy Aikman into a pro bowl player, and a super bowl champion. The name Derek Carr was also brought up, and how did that rook fare against the fiercest pass rush in the NFL against the Buffalo Bills?? Oh 2x .5 sacks by the Williams Bros, Kyle & Mario for a grand total of ONE. Carr went 17 for 34 for 214 yards, and 2 TD's with no INT's against the #4 ranked defense in the NFL. I'd have to say that Raider O line gave the kid time to make plays. I'd have to say that Orton was sacked 2x and hit far more often playing against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Jeez, Buffalo did throw 49 times in that game with 3 TD's, 2 INT's with a grand total of an impressive 13 rushes for 13 yards against the 2-13 Raiders !! You know that unbelievably great Raider team with the 32nd ranked defense in points allowed. Naturally the Raiders defense was better against the pass then the run, so the brain trust at OBD threw it more then they ran it. The stupidity emanating from last years offensive coaching staff was mind boggling at times. You could bet that if the opposing defense was good at something the Bills coaches would try to best it, and if they were bad at something they would ignore it. Game after game i was amazed that Orton was able to do so much with so little coaching help around him, and in my view he basically carried the entire offense every week despite the bad coaching. I honestly don't know how good EJ will be or if he will ever elevate himself into a decent starting NFL QB. I'm pulling for the kid,and I think he has a much improved OC, and a decent offensive team around him this year. Not great, but perhaps enough for him to play well.
  16. Heck No!! I was hoping he would have been fired after his first season as a play caller with his very predictable offensive play calling in the 70+% of the run plays right up the middle. I didn't think Marrone or Hackett deserved keeping their jobs much less a raise in pay and was quite alarmed when I had read that Pegula had approved it. I rejoiced when I had heard that Marrone opted out which meant his coaching staff was also probably gone with him. But then my heart sank when I read that Polian also opted out after Marrone quit. I'm still not exactly certain as to what I believe as to how Marrone decided to depart the team. All I know is it seemed to fit that he asked for more power over personnel because of reading that he was upset, and walked out of the draft room after Whaley used the 2015 pick on Sammy. Plus the shouting match in the 2014 off season. Then not following the proper chain of command by calling Brandon instead of Whaley when Marrone learned that Orton would not be back for 2015. "Marrone told insiders that he planned to go to Pegula after the season with a list of demands, which surely included more say over personnel and a diminishment of Whaley’s power. Why do you think Marrone called the owner when Kyle Orton retired, bypassing the usual chain of command?" http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/01/04/pegulas-are-learning-the-hard-way/ Then there is that shouting match in which I believe Marrone was unhappy with Whaley's choices of players for the line. From Chris Williams, Doug Legursky, Colin Brown, Sam Young to the 2014 draft picks. Whaley seems very adapt at finding top defensive players, and much less so for the offense. Particularly for the line. The front office has also bristled at how certain players are being used, sources said. Team executives believe tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, this year's second-round pick, warranted more of a long look this summer, were unhappy that emerging receiver Robert Woods was benched at times, and they were also at odds over guard Kraig Urbik, who the personnel side believes is a quality guard (he just received a contract extension a few years back) but who Marrone has soured on (the team explored trades for Urbik before roster cuts, league sources said). http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24695455/buffalo-tension-boils-over-in-shouting-match-for-marrone-bills-officials This article also mentions it. "The window closes today, but he doesn’t appear to be going anywhere. I’m sure some Bills fans who wanted him fired after the Oakland loss worried this week about the prospects of losing him. He could wind up getting an extension, a pay raise and more say in personnel matters." http://bills.buffalonews.com/2014/12/30/is-marrone-pitching-for-more-power/ Just saying, I didn't pull it out of thin air.
  17. While you might just have some inside info on the Marrone departure I never read anything even remotely close to that, and in fact I seem to recall that Saint Doug had asked for a raise for him and his staff and both were approved. From what I read after Orton quit, and with no QB, no first round pick Marrone went to Pegula with a list of demands, and the pay raises for him and his offensive staff were granted. He was also negotiating for an extension for his four year deal, and that was also granted. While the demand for more power over the roster, and a diminished role for Whaley were not. From my view I can see why Marrone opted out if he was going to be handcuffed from a personnel standpoint. Just think, here we are in year three of Whaley and we still don't know if Levitre has been adequately replaced or not. Last years O line was the worst its been in years, and was the weakest area of the team by far. Marginal upgrades rather then the studs at OT & OG Whaley first opted to obtain. Losing Marrone also cost the team Bill Polian as team czar / consultant, and who knows what impact / changes he would have made this year. My take on not keeping Lewis was because of his him not progressing as well as they expected, and he was somewhat limited in his stature at 6', 200 lbs. Not exactly the prototype build for an NFL QB. Lastly, go back and look as EJ went 4-6 with 11 TD's vs 9 INT's, and 2-2 with 5 TD's vs 3 Int's, and that's with known complete bozo's running the offense. Not so bad in my view considering who was coaching him. Just imagine if EJ had a season with stats like either one of Geno Smiths seasons. Can you say crucify?
  18. Geno went 3-10 with 13 TD's vs 13 INT's with a QBR of 35.43 with a rating of 77.5 last year. After watching Geno play against Buffalo last season he looked like he regressed badly in Mornhinweg's same offense, and with Lee as his new QB coach. Both Lee and Ryan stated they thought it was on Geno because of his inconsistent play. But then Geno did throw 21 INT's vs 12 TD's in his rookie season, and this kid was supposedly rated above EJ as the #1 QB in the 2013 draft. God forbid EJ has a season like that.
  19. Lewis was with the Rams / Browns / Lions before joining the Buffalo Bills, and he did have a singular game start for Cleveland in all that time. So forgive me if I don't think of him as a veteran QB in bringing much needed NFL QB experience with him to that 2013 roster of newbie QB's. Bad wording on my part. As far as Marrone is concerned do you have a link to anything relevant concerning talk about him dumping anyone on his coaching staff. Because even recently I've read that Marrone doesn't believe he quit on the Bills, but rather he "opted out" and gained four million dollars as per the clause in his contract! (While I'm grateful for that clause it seems highly moronic to give something like that to a rookie HC) You mention two QB's who appear to have legitimate NFL coaches on their staff. I'd say Vikes OC Norv Turner qualifies, and Raiders OC Greg Olsen had been an NFL OC for seven season before 2014. Was EJ supposed to learn the NFL ropes by osmosis?
  20. Just a few points here. Fans need to think that if it takes an average QB 3-4 years to develop properly. Then they need to remember EJ hasn't even played a full season yet. (14 games) Then those QB's would also need to be coached by people with actual NFL coaching credentials, and not wannabe morons who had no business running an NFL team or calling NFL plays. In my view EJ is starting year this year like he is a rookie with an actual competent NFL offensive coordinator. We also need to recall that one of the most accredited draft gurus in Mike Mayock stated that EJ was a worthy first round pick. But that he was also a project QB that needed to sit and learn, and that many of his flaws are coachable...that is by actual NFL coaches! Now go back to EJ's first year in the NFL and realize he was one of three NFL rookie QB's on the roster with no QB coach, no veteran QB on the roster either! All those young men had to learn from was OC Mr Can't Hackett leading them. BTW this stupidity still blows my mind. EJ stated he learned more by watching Kyle Orton prepare for each opponent every week then he ever did from Hackett. Freddy also stated he had never seen a QB prepare as much as Orton did. The only drawback I can see in this years coaching staff is that the Bills re hired QB coach David Lee who seemed to screw up Fitz's mechanics pretty good, and Geno Smith really looked bad last year in NY. Kinda why I'm fearful for EJ this season. Now reading about all the dislike for the last offensive coaching staff, and HC. I think fans also need to remember that had Doug Marrone not chosen to walk away he and his coaches would have not only been retained for 2015. That Saint Doug would have been given a hefty raise by the owner should he have stayed.
  21. Exactly which part of the 2014 Bills offense was good in any way besides Orton? The part where Mr Can't Hackett did nothing but call pass plays? The part where Spiller was out injured a lot last year. The part where the brainiac coaching staff used their best offensive weapon in Sammy as a decoy in some games? The guy did manage to go 7-5 playing behind one of the very worst O line this team has had in years. When was the last time the Bills fielded a QB to go 7-5 with an actual winning record? Well I'll tell ya, the last one was Doug Flutie had in 2008-2009, and before that it was Jim Kelly. Then Orton suffered with morons for coaches who did nothing but mostly call pass plays all game long. When they did call a run play it was predictably right up the middle 65% of the time, and usually stuffed at the line. Stating that the Bills also lacked a solid run game to support the QB most of the season as the coaches didn't even try to build an effective running attack after week three. Week after week it was usually 40+ passes, and around 20 rushes every game. Reading over this thread I see fans complaining about the bad O line, the WR's dropping balls and making the wrong reads, the RB's having no holes with Spiller hurt most of the year, and the crappy TE who couldn't block a lick. Yet Orton managed to gain a winning record with that craptastic supporting cast that would have probably gotten EJ killed. That 2014 Bills offensive line ranked dead last in the run game at 32nd, and 23rd in pass blocking mostly because Orton managed to get the ball out before he was sacked. Perhaps that turtle in the shell comment was referring to Orton sliding so he wouldn't take a hit, and I don't hold that against him when I consider who was blocking for him. Stop and reflect on exactly what Orton was dealing with all around him last year. Me personally, I would love to see Orton back in a Bills uni with a slightly better line, an improved WR / RB corps, and a decent TE. Plus the better offensive play calling, and game planning would have a major impact for the upcoming season. I just don't have faith that EJ will be given the proper supporting line to help him properly develop this season. Like I said earlier I don't think the Bills did enough this off season to bolster the weakest area of the tam. I realize we would all like to put this game out of our memories but it still stings me when I think that a playoff berth was on the line for this game. In week 16 at Oakland and against a 2-12 team with a Raiders defense ranked 32nd in points allowed, 21st in yards. To me it wasn't so much about Khalil Mack being the next Lawrence Taylor as it was that the Bills coaching staff being so inept that they had no answer for helping to block him, or anyone else for that matter. Mack only had 4 measly sacks all season, and one against Buffalo. Scrub Raider DT's looking like Reggie White against that Bills interior line, and Mack ate Henderson for lunch that day. #66 should'n't have even been on the field playing like that. JMO
  22. In regards to EJ in his first two years. The QB doesn't play in a vacuum, and he really is only as good as the team, players / coaching staff around him as a rookie. I for one am grateful to Doug Moron for benching EJ after week 4 in his second year, and thus allowing him to survive the season by not playing behind that 30th ranked horrid line. I look back at that 2014 season and see that in those first two games when the offense handed off 33 times vs 22 & 26 passes respectively while winning both games. Then asking EJ to attempt 40 passes vs 22 runs against the Chargers in the next game was downright stupid. Then 44 pass attempts against Houston was throwing EJ right into the teeth of that Texans pass rush. Which btw was about the only thing that Houston defense was good at, at that point. Kyle Orton wasn't nearly as bad as so many make him out to be, and I can see why he bolted for the door as the season ended. Very grateful for that too, as it probably helped Marrone in his decision to quit the Bills. Although, if Kyle Orton had returned I could envision him playing much, much better with this years offensive improvements, RB's, WR's, O line players, coaches. I think most of the fan base now considers Marrone and his offensive coaching staff thoroughly inept, and much of the credit of that 9-7 season should go to Schwartz / Orton. With only 14 game starts in two years for EJ which is not even a full single season, and I can see him still being in the process of developing into an NFL QB. IE growing pains. I just can't help but ask if this years off season moves did enough to fortify the line that was the weakest area of last years team.
  23. Last year the team had the #4 defense, and still couldn't stop Tom Brady...or even stop rookie QB Derek Carr on a scrub team... in a game with a playoff berth on the line. Its time to stop the forever, on going continuous defensive building and focus on finding a franchise QB! and then protecting him properly! JMO. Mega millions for a DE, DE, DT and a fifty cent QB...
  24. It took this team three seasons to replace Peters, and still hasn't properly replaced a supposed average OG in Andy Levitre. The most important position on the field is the QB, and protecting him should be the very highest priority. Yet this team still doesn't understand this concept, as they keep trying to get by with scrubs, and band-aids. "If you don't have a great QB you had better have a darn good line", and this team has neither.
