I played 4 years in college, one year we had 11 guys out for the season. The next year not one starter missed more than a few snaps. Pretty much the same players too.
Same strength coach
same exact program
Its a rough sport Shhhh happens. you can blame the coach but bones break, muscles tweak- yea theres med research showing stretching does not reduce injury-, and people get knocked out.
Doug Mckenney has been sabres strength coach for how long now? did they fire him after the playoffs when all the Dmen were hurt? no.... bc they arent morons and know stuff happens.
Not a trust, but some sort of corporation back in the 70s, he was forward looking and knew he wouldnt live forever. Bottom line is he doesnt own the team outright like someone owns a car. The framework is in place so his family doesnt get screwed.
Ralph has already made sure of this. I know the guys who did the transfer but i cant tell what kind of car i drive.
Does anyone really think a business man like ralph is dumb enough to not have thought of the tax implications a long time ago?
Yea but for this reason they deemd it gambling i believe so terminated with cause and no unemployment.
Even in your case it would be very hard to "sue" and get tons o money.
He wasn't wrongfully terminated. Its a private company, at least thats my understanding, so they don't need a reason to fire you, legally. You can get fired for giving your boss the evil eye and not win in court.
Bc people are morons. Do other cold weather teams practice outside? hell no. you dont get as much accomplished, players get sick/ hurt.
It makes sense for kickers bc the wind plays an integral part of the job they perform.
yea LB play has nothing to do with our undersized DE's sucking ass. Poz isnt an all pro LB but cmon... Anyone whos played LB knows you cant make plays with all those OL downfield.
Thanks for the lecture dad, but just pointing out the math and i qouted the guy above me saying yea what he said. Notice the lack of a percentage sign. Thank you for instilling your wisdom though, guess my doctorate in mathematics doesnt mean anything.
how can any of us be in a position to evalaute a coach with 2 NFL games experience beating the dolphins without their #1 RB ????
seriously? he might turn out to be the next coaching god but he might be a flash in the pan, no one to tell yet.
does anyone realize that teams win super bowls with the tampa 2? tampa bay, indy, oh yea its basically the same defense as the iron curtain defense run by the steelers in the 70's when they won all those super bowls.
Its not the bills scheme its the players.
PTR,
I dont disagree at all, my educated, yes educated, guess is that they are in pads but still not doing contact drills. No coach is going to risk losing a player bc he was banging pads with a scout team practice player.....just not happening.
newsflash...... Most teams dont practice in pads. In fact once you get past high school most practices are low impact. You dont bash heads during the week.
It doesnt matter, why cut him? You don't cut your #1 receiver. Theres no benefit to cutting him. Wake up, guys like hardy and johnson talk about learning from TO, who has been in this league for a long time. cut him and hope that what? they just learn on their own?
