The point I was trying to hammer home I guess is I don't really care much about the media either. I just wanna see what kind of heart beats in this years squad....guess we will see sunday
-
Ok I know most of you have thought this. This game is a huge statement game. We all know Oakland has a potent rushing attack. Stats don't lie. If this team wants to take the next step, this is the game. Our Defense has to make a statement because believe it or not the national media has on eye on what the Bills do this weekend. They gave us some love and have said maybe we are starting to become relevant again. If we don't shut down Oakland and win this game, the "same old Bills" comments and talk will come back again. Now is the time right now....Let's see what this squad is made of. I will learn alot after Sunday. In my heart of hearts I think they can make a statement on Sunday...now more than ever I wanna see what kind of heart we have.

Not holding my breath, NGU
26TrapDraw replied to Delete This Account's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NGU I myself have followed this board religiously for a few years. I know you have a strong connection to the organization and your anonymity is fine by me. I do however have a dead serious question. Why is it that you believe that the Bills are interested more in saving salary cap money than putting a better product on the field when all that the loyal fans of the bills in the western New York area and abroad have supported this team financially as well as emotionally for the past ten years with little to show for it. Understand I respect your position here but out of sheer frustration I feel i must ask this question to someone who actually might have a connection or an ear inside the organization. I appreciate any kind of light you can shed on this. -

Kelsey likey out for Saturday post eye surgery
26TrapDraw replied to BillsRUs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
According to CHris Brown Chris Kelsey had Lasic eye surgery to repair a hole in his Retina....Now i know why he was out of position all the time....sorry -
Why be sorry about the truth. you told it like it is and if there are some kool aid drinkers that cant accept the fact that the word inept describes this team from top to bottom than I don't believe that they are die hards like some of us

Now it looks like Fred just needed to be stroked and thats even worse. The one player on this team who has kept his mouth shut and gone out and performed now looks like a whiny baby who wants to ensure his yardage so he can visit the front office with his hand out this offseason for a new contract...oh wait

Ok, Gailey needs to be careful with this situation. Fred Jackson without a doubt should be the number 1 running back on this team. The guy does everything well, runs hard between the tackles catches out of the backfield stays in and throws great blocks in the backfield etc. I read tonight that he doesn't know where he stands on this team. Really? Gailey needs to understand that Spiller is not a pound between the tackles kind of running back. If used correctly they can pack a great one two punch. Gailey needs to do some damage control. Fred Jackson is one of the most consisent if not best offensive player we have. Just Sayin

Bell's performance last night
26TrapDraw replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how bout put hangartner back to center wood to RG uhrbik can suck it cause i watched him last night and he blocked when he felt like it and put levitre at right tackle cause he played that position in college and then we pray bell plucks his head out of his butt? -
OK I wonder if Gailey and Nix are hoping that a RT gets cut loose by a team as a " roster move". This kind of logic pisses me off and heres why. Ok they can get their hands on the player on the cheap because of release / looking for a job/ start of season and players urgency to play. Thats great. but what advantage does that give our team as the new player doesn't know our terminology, has'nt gelled with his linemates and will take till week 4 or 5 at best before he is comfortable on the line. Its that kind of bullcrap that will keep this team in the basement. you have 2 4ths, use them to trade for a player and get him in here asap. I swear the culture at one bills drive just sux monkey nuts. Flame away

Levitre demoted / Levitre promoted
26TrapDraw replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He Played right tackle in college. If were lucky Levitre slides to the right tackle spot and rhinehart and urhbik play the guards with wood at center...Levitre at RT is better than anything we have right now by alot -
He isn't a great player...stop right there. This is whats wrong with the Bills we have too many of these and at a position like the one Kelsey mans where he regularly gets beat by RB's and TE's in coverage like he stole something, we need to get better...period

What's it like being a Bills fan on the West Coast?
26TrapDraw replied to Pilsner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Born and raised in NJ whole family were giants fans...did'nt wanna conform i was 8 when the bills started their good drafting with B smith. now 28 yrs later here i am moved all the way to sacramento Ca and still bleeding bills red and blue. When we win one it will be the most special event for us diehards in sports history. Can't wait....if we keep doing things this way it wont be long GO BILLS! -
Woah tap your brakes a lil and take the straw out of the kool aid for a while. If we indeed fixed our gaping run defense and we're like 5-3 by mid season and our run defense somewhere in the teens in ranking then you can put your straw back in the jug.

What they need to do is strap CJ down ala robot chicken and force him to watch film of Thurman thomas and Emmitt smith pass blocking...he is the same size as they were and those two lit up people that got in the backfield...no reason he can't be taught to do the same.

Aside from my inability to comprehend the amount of money that the players are making.. Your stand is exactly what the owners want the public to feel in each and every anti-union work force dispute that has ever happened in this country.. From what I have read, the package put together by the owners to the players seemed fair. I'm not a lawyer or claim to understand all the legality, but i believe the players think they are getting shafted...I don't think this is the case.So if i had to choose a side, I'd side with the owners in this situation based on what i have heard. -

I have to say, I am firmly with the owners on this. I know its not the sheik decision but follow me here. How do the players have the right to dictate their terms to the owners? In any other company or business do you ever see this happening or employees asking their employers/owners to open their books? Who the F**k do the players think they are?? The owners should play hard ball with the NFLPA. I would actually like to see them shut down permanently and restructure as a new league. How long do you think it would take for the owners to find comparable talent to put on the field? Not long and then the greedy players can twist in the breeze looking for work. It was the owners and league not the players who have made the NFL what it is today. Thats just one man's humble opinion -
I can't wait to see how well Fitzgibbons plays
