14 days until the Tebow Era begins.

Most mocks had Oakland taking Crabtree last year until about 2-3 weeks out from the draft but then many mocks started slotting DHB in his place.

Last year Tyson Jackson and Derius Heyward-Bey were mid to late 1st round picks in everyone's mock drafts until suddenly they were both top ten picks everywhere. Just watch, Tebow is going to start creeping up in all these mock drafts and the idea of Tebow at 9 won't be so shocking anymore.

That is Lombardi's site (who said that Tebow to Buffalo at 9 was a real possibility on Bill Simmon's podcast monday).

If Gailey and Nix are convinced that Tebow is a franchise QB, and that he won't be around at 41 and they are unable to trade down then I absolutely could see them taking him at #9.

Without a doubt it's coming.

If we pick Tebow I'm expecting some initial groans by a faction of fans but I'm sure once he steps foot in Buffalo and says all the right things Tebowmania is going to spread like wildfire.

I don't know. Something tells me Gailey has fallen head over heels for Tebow.

I'm sure Gaily has a player from this years draft in mind that he has hand picked as the QB he wants to be brought in for him to groom. I'm expecting the Bills to trade back into the late first round to snag Tebow or Colt McCoy.

Won't happen. Gailey has been fired enough times to realize that coaching gigs can be fleeting and he'll want to bring in his own guy through the draft to develop this year. He can't afford to wait. I think it's a lock that the Bills trade up into the late 1st, early second to land Colt McCoy or Tim Tebow (most likely Tebow).

Anonymous sources are fine, just not when they're doing nothing more than hurling insults. If a scout had inside knowledge of Kelly overplaying his role with the team but he wanted to stay anonymous I'd be fine with that. But a scout using this as an opportunity to anonymously call Kelly a clown based on Florio's wacked out interpretation of Kelly's comments is lame. Besides, there probably is no scout just like there probably was no NFL GM ripping the hiring of Buddy Nix on PFT a few weeks ago.

Gotta love Florio's penchant for printing the insults of anonymous sources. What journalistic ethics this guy has!

I used to be all about trading Lynch now but I've come around to hoping he has a bounce back season which revives his trade value for next years offseason.

Maybe he's holding out for a new contract? But seriously, I think the fact he spoke with Nix and not Gailey suggest that Buddy has told Marshawn he'll do his best to trade him.

Buddy needs to draft more Eric Woods, more Fred Jacksons, and more George Wilsons.

If you had a new boss and he set up a "voluntary" event you would make damn sure you were there right? And if attendance was at 97% what would you and your co-workers think of someone who was a no show and had no good reason for it? And what if that missing co-worker just came off his worst year with the company where he was undisciplined off the field and unprepared on the field. Marshawn clearly doesn't "get it".

Does Marshawn strike you as being mature enough to eat right and stick with his workout regimen without supervision?

Best case scenario-When Lynch and Nix spoke they reached an understanding that Lynch would be traded this offseason. Worst case scenario-Lynch has learned absolutely nothing from last season's suspension and demotion.

So much for Lynch finally "getting it".

Gailey and Nix have both publicly stated that a 4th QB will be brought in to compete. They just don't know if it will be a FA, draft pick, or through a trade. I'm guessing that it will be a draft pick, most likely being Colt McCoy or Tim Tebow in the 2nd.

No mention of Lynch yet...
