What a terrible offseason for Arizona. They lose Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin, Karlos Dansby, Antrel Rolle and now their prized FA acquisition predictably acts like a complete idiot. Plus they have Matt Leinhart to look forward to next year...
Do the Bills still use the #9 pick on one of them? If not what direction would the Bills go? They solidified their 3-4 defense through FA so it makes sense that Nix and Gailey (an offensive minded coach) would target offense with the pick. Maybe a home run hitter like Spiller? Or a #1 receiver in Dez Bryant? Or Jimmy Clausen if they believe he's a franchise QB?
Buddy certainly wasn't asleep at the wheel when the Broncos surprisingly released Andra Davis. He identified him as a player he coveted and made sure we picked him up.
Does this remind anyone of 2006 when all the mock drafts had Buffalo taking Haloti Ngata or Broderick Bunkley but guys like Felser kept slipping in Donte Whitner's name as a "darkhorse" or "sleeper pick"? If the Bills don't like the 4th best OT off the board at nine then who knows who they'll have targeted.
To me Bell didn't seem to be that bad and it wasn't until he was hurt and our starting tackles were Scott and Chambers that our pass protection really went to crap. I still think he may have a future as a decent tackle.
Buddy- Tim Tebow, No Kidding...
Jags GM- Tim Tebow, huh?
Buddy- [backing away] Well...I guess I'll be going to my home now,
and...sleep.
Jags GM- Yeah...me too...I will also go home...for sleep.
(Both run fantically out of the stadium)
I don't know. If you're unable to pick Bradford, Clausen, or McCoy but you've decided you're going to draft a QB it might as well be Tebow. And something tells me the Bills are enamored with him.
Maybe we made an offer, Edwards didn't sign it, and then he went back to Baltimore and had second thoughts and decided to accept it? That would mean nothing is official until he comes back to Buffalo.
Everyone knew Dansby had his mind set on playing for Miami weeks ago.
I wouldn't have minded Jamal Williams but he's 34 and missed virtually the entire 2009 season. I can understand a rebuilding team not wanting to take the risk on him.
Cincinnati paid Bryant 4 years 28 million, no thank you. It's time to see if Hardy or Steve Johnson can play.
Joey Porter reportedly is looking for 6 million per year.
Larry Foote, too slow.
