I went back and listened to the post game presser. First off how many times is this guy going to say "things like that" and "100 percent"? Its like nails on a chalk board. When asked about the 2 minute drill with three time outs and no urgency he says "im not too sharp right now, need to look at the tape". That tells me all I need to know. He lacks mental agility and CANNOT handle being a HC. When the onion keeps getting peeled back layer by layer I learn that he just is not as good as he thinks he is. On to the reporters a little-they ask some weak questions. Not one of them asked about fair catching inside the ten or lining Kyle up at DE then dropping him into coverage. Rex doesnt even seem concerned about being undisciplined as long as they "fight". We are in for another long season-I will wager 16 years of no playoffs with this guy at the helm. He is a complete tool.
Whistle to whistle---good coaches preach that
The risk of not fair catching the ball on the 15 and the ball getting downed inside the 5 is greater than the risk of botching the catch. Its metrics my friend.
Your right and Rex wont get 3 years. Not even close. If we were in rebuild then maybe, but no way, not with this roster. His press conference yesterday was grose. The team has zero focus and discipline-the hallmark of a Rex Ryan team.
Im on your side. I HATED the hire
Just stop already. I, like many are season ticket holders and we were there. That said people are growing tired of Rex's bs already. Honestly next home game should be empty to send a statement. We will be 16 years of no playoffs---bank on it. If I decide to sell my tix if im unable to attend I will sell them to whoever I damn well please. If you dont like it too bad its a free country.
And who replaces him? Maybe we can scour South American soccer players. The ship has sailed theres no one. But isnt it great we have 2 kickers on game day?
I never liked the hire from the very beginning. I think Rex is a loud mouth all talk guy. I have said this numerous times and im saying it again-we are seeing the same garbage that was his demise in NY. The Jets fans know the game and couldnt stand the idiot for the very reasons everyon mentions. For Christ sake he is still worried about New England. All this talent and we are playing stupid football. Every team has injuries btw and we have enough depth to win right now. While I am at it who the hell lines Kyle Williams up at end then drops him into coverage. That happened right in front of me and I thought ok maybe its a stunt and he quickly gets back to tackle and then snap and the dude is in the flat lol wtf???? And hell Thigpen inside then ten let it go ya moron thats football 101. With new ownership and deep pockets they wont be scared to can Rex if this continues. 5 bucks says he is in Whaleys office right now.
I was at the game TT did not play bad ---dropped passes , poor routes , and the list went on. I think his numbers were 278 yards, 2 td, 1 pick and he ran one in that was called back for a hold. The problem lays directly with Rex
Kyle lining up at DE just about made me blow a gasket. And then Thigpen constantly catching it on the 8 and 9 yard line kinda trumped that. And of course there is 8 men in the box and we try to run--all damn game long. It was so grose we left with 8 minutes left. The same garbage that Rex did in NY he is doing here. He os a crap head coach. And your right ive always said Woods is a lousy center and well Urbik is a freakin turnstyle. Goodwin is still out with bruised ribs from the third, yes third pre season game and ive had enough of Sammys ****. Damn this team cant get it right.
I cant speak knowledgbly to Greg Romans intelligence level and as always its a team decision to release or keep a player. I think everyone on the board understands that concept. I also get that he can run and open other things up. My point is the guy is extremely fragile so how much longerdoes the staff allow this to continue? Its now week four lets see if he plays. And if he does how long until he is hurt again which I hope he is not.
Still having some troubles and the Giants have no depth at WR. Odell then its a rapid drop off
