    does it matter who is #2 or 3 behind trent on the depth chart. if he goes down with an injury (knock on wood) we are f*cked. regardless if its fitzpatrick or hamden, neither guy is a very capable back up.

    i bet the main reason lendale is taking this year seriously is due to the performance of chris johnson last year.

    i wonder the same thing. thigpen did show flashes last year. he put up some pretty respectable numbers toward the end of the season. i believe it was tony g that said thigpen deserved to be the starter for kc in 2009

    Hey Tim, I read you blog that you posted today- Interconference matchups: AFC East/NFC South. I found it very interesting . most of the match ups you mentioned should be fun to watch. The first factor that you listed was freddy and rhodes filling in for marshawn. any chance we have marshawn for atleast one of the home games against the saints and or bucs?

    at UT all vince young knew was to win. look how that worked out. tim has played more and am not comparing the two. im just saying, winning at the college level doesnt necesarily translate to the pros. just speculation, anybody think he may be a system quarterback, remember that other guy, alex smith, that played for urban meyer, how did he turn out.
