the same way it seems to be going right now. it's been two years and no end in sight. ukraine has had about 400k casualties from the war in two years. look, we all agree russia shouldn't have invaded them but they did. now you have to make a choice of what's best for the future of ukraine. do you negoitate a peace deal where russia keeps part of ukraine so the rebuilding of the country can begin? or just keep throwing good money into the country and 2-5 years from now they lose most of their population who are of age to work and have families and so on? it would be a cool story if ukraine managed to beat russia but reality is starting to hit home and it seems the odds of that are getting slimmer by the month. we thought taking the oligarchs money would work, we thought putin was dying, we thought the people of russia would revolt, russia would run out of money etc. none of which has worked. it's just an endless war at this point.
