    Now I'm on the draft a QB bandwagon finally. That was pitiful.

    He didn't play LT at Texas because he was protecting Chris Simms' blind side, which meant he had to play RT. It wasn't like Texas had a better offensive lineman playing LT. Derrick Dockery was their next best lineman and he played right guard, before moving to RT the year after Williams was drafted.

    Exactly. Otherwise, he might as well just admit he writes what he hears, not what he thinks.

    My son has a basketball game right in the middle of the Bills game. I am one of the coaches and if this was 15 years ago, I'd have done everything I could to get the game time changed. Now? I'm glad.

    Count me as one who misses the replacement refs. Say what you want about that Seattle-Green Bay call but it's not like the regular refs don't blow calls like that on a weekly basis. And NE* wasn't getting half of the knob-bobbing from the replacement refs that they get from the regular refs.

    He said he wasn't going to comment on it, and it was early in the game anyway so "that don't really matter." Next time he catches a first-quarter TD I want someone to tell him "that don't really matter."

    That's okay, they'll just replace him with one of the refs. They won't miss a beat.

    Just give them the extra three or four yards. Just give it to 'em.

    When it was 26-14 or whatever and the Pats* scored with a minute left, I guaranteed my son that that they were going to get the ball back and win even if the refs had to give it to them. Which of course is what happened.

    Worst game I've ever seen and I didn't even see half of it, mercifully.

    This reminds me of Greggo's first year when we went 3-13 and we told ourselves we had to hit bottom before we got better. 13 years later we are still scraping along the bottom.
