Nope, do not like how Mike Vick plays the QB position.

Provided he is healthy, which is a huge issue. What has he shown that suggests he is a better option than the current healthy bodies at the same position? Nothing! So why should the Bills continue down the Torell Troup road? IMO there is no reason to.

Here is my $.02 I posted in another thread. Why does everyone think Troup is going to the IR? At best and uninjured he is only a depth player. With his nagging injuries and under performance he is low man on the totem pole, so why would the Bills waste a spot, PS, roster, IR, etc on him? IR buys him training camp next year, what is he going to do next year? He's not going to beat out Dareus or K Williams, so again he is just a depth player at best. So again, why would the Bills waste time, team spot and salary on somebody who can be easily replaced from the FA market. I don't understand the IR logic, makes no sense.

I will rocket scientist. Until they implement a game plan or the other team just plays "vanilla", i'll reserve my "worriedness" until the games actually count.

Who knows what the op is thinking. Just looked Williams up and a couple of scouting profiles suggest he "MIGHT DEVELOP" into a decent safety because of his size. That is all that is said about him being a safety, didn't say he played there at UT. So because of that and apparently the op seen Chan try him at safety for a couple of plays, I guess the op is all in for Williams overtaking Wilson/Searcy or Byrd for a safety position. Really!

So if that really happened a "few times" during one game last year as you say, was it enough of a sample size for you to say it worked last year and go back to it? I think not! Whatever though, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Just glad you are not making the decisions that matter. I'll defer to the guys running the team and trust they are making the most sound decisions that ultimately will help the team win. Thanks for playing.

Agree with Simon 100%. If it isn't obvious that the Bills are only going through the motions whereas the Redskins and Vikes were actually trying. Maybe people need to start watching another sport because they don't understand what is going on and complaining about it is first and foremost on the list. Nope, not at all. No concern what so ever.

Why would the Bills IR Troup? So him and his bad back can show up at training camp next year and get cut? I don't understand all the Troup to IR stuff. Unfortunately because of his inability to be healthy he is a liability that does not have a position with this team. If he was a stud and ran into some injury problems, sure keep him around, but he has not proven to be any better than a backup or 3rd stringer. Why bother keeping him if your the Bills. He just all of a sudden is not going to turn into Bruce Smith or even a Pat Williams type. Time to move on.

He is hurting and would be ineffective and broke down by mid season. No reason to keep him as he does not stand out from the crowd.

Troup will not be on the team and I highly doubt the keep both VY and BS. VY as #2 and to run the wildcat. That makes both BS and TT expendable.

Sorry but sports are what have you done for me lately. I'm really thinking Chan doesn't give a rats..... about an unproven depth dline man 2-3 years down the road. He cares about the now and right now I think Troup is on the outside looking in. Too many guys ahead of him skill wise that don't have a history of injury problems. What's the point of keeping him? Sorry but good by Mr. Troup.

Merriman was still pretty young going through his injury problems. Plus he had proven to be a stud in every way shape and form, that is something Troup has yet to prove. Troup has proved nothing as of yet. The Dline looks good and deep without Troup in it. I do not think Troup has a chance of sticking around, but that is just my opinion.
