Compared to who the QBs have been, yeah I absolutely have no problem with Fitz. There is only a handful of elite QBs in the NFL and obviously Fitz is not one of them. I lump him into the middle tier of QBs. He's not the best and he's not the worst despite what some think. If the Bills can upgrade the QB position i'm all for it. The only way to upgrade is to get an elite QB, I don't see them having the opportunity to do that anytime soon and a lateral move is not the answer. That said Fitz is the guy.

It's obvious all the Fitz critics and haters only see the bad. It doesn't matter if Fitz wins 10 games in a row, has 30 TDs and 0 Ints he will never win you haters over. You will always think you find fault where there is none to be found, and you kind of look dumb in your accusations. He is the best QB the Bills have had since Kelly left in the mid 90's and tons and tons of fans are miserable because he is the QB, WTF. I guess you all were more satisfied with the Trents, JP, RJs and such. I think i've come to the conclusion that most Bills fans can never be satisfied and will not truly understand what they have until it is gone. There is absolutely nothing wrong with in Fitz as QB. This team and franchise has been bad for so long, I have to believe they are turning the corner and Fitz is part of that.

They are only 2-1, so I guess they could have a better record. Enlighten us as to what more you think he needs to do. What are you looking for from Fitz? Obviously you are not satisfied.

The guy hits on 63% of his passes, has a QB rating of 108, throws 3 TDs, no interceptions, puts up 24 points in a game that is half rain storm, hasn't been sacked all year and right now leads the league in TD passes and you say he needs to be better. No matter how well the guy plays you will without a doubt try and nitpick apart and blame something anything and give any excuse to why Fitz happened to succeed even though you think he is gawd awful. Does the guy have some dirt on you or something? The endless excuses you come up with shooting holes in his good play seem to suggest it. What gives? There isn't a player in any sport or a person alive that doesn't have deficiencies in something.

I agree with you. I don't think Cam is all that! I don't think he will every be a star. Don't like the style of running QBs. Their ceilings are only so high. Happened with VY, Randall Cunningham, Vick, etc. That type of QB is only good to a certain point, then they don't have the ability to take it to the next level and win consistently and most importantly win in the playoffs. Until a running QB ever wins in the playoffs or wins a super bowl, I'm not going to change my mind.

I don't think the wildcat is a useful tool anymore. When the Dolphins first started using it, it was a new wrinkle that nobody had seen before, thus making it successful. As time has gone on it has become less and less successful to the point of being unsuccessful and almost irrelevant. To say the defense has to gameplan for it I think is somewhat untrue as the defenses now, always seem to shut it down. IDK, I just see it as a waste now, doesn't work anymore, time to scrap it.

So you are saying Fitz needs to be perfect? Fitz isn't perfect, and now I understand why he is ragged on so much. Man, I guess if the Bills had one of those perfect QBs they would win and everyone would be happy. When any NFL team finds a perfect QB please let me know.

Great analysis. When I first saw that play happen too, I also thought Fitz couldn't see Chandler due to the 2 big guys right in his way. I also thought he just dumped the ball, playing it safe because he couldn't tell if Chandler was alone, but I did not catch the ball being tipped. On the surface I can see where everyone with a few beers in them would B word and complain about Fitz on that play. It's too bad Fitz didn't have a helmet cam, like the old XFL, so we could have seen exactly what Fitz saw on that play.
