  1. GODell definitely is walking around with a God complex. He needs to treat each player on a case by case basis. Pac Man and Henry both deserved to be suspended for the numerous times they were in trouble with the law. However, Burress has not been convicted so until then, nor has he been in trouble, thus his punishment if any should be a wait and see. As for Vick he has paid his price, loosing 2years of his life behind bars, loosing his job, loosing endorsements, loosing his home and now GODell wants to suspend him indefinitely. Vick deserves the right to compete for a job in the league. For all of you who say he has not right or he is a criminal please reference Michael Milken the Junk Bond King who swindled Average Americans out of their savings, and only spent 2 years in prison. He is now in the top 500 richest Americans.
  2. They go 2-2, but the question is do they have the fire to get back
  3. What is the deal with this schedule. A. Madden does not want to call a Bills game - EVEN if T.O. is on the roster B. WTF is the deal with another division opponent in Toronto C. I waited four years for payback to the Bucs. I sat there in 95 degree heat for the Bucs v. Bills game. Why arent they coming to RWS in December??? Some friend of the family you are Roger. You suspend Lynch for 3 games, when other get 1 game for ACTUALLY commiting a crime. And now you strategically handicap the franchise and favor others. Is this because Ralph voted No to your vote???
  4. (Sorry if this was already posted) Roger Goodell and the fricken NFL really went to far with this one. It took their All American Poster Boy Tom "Bunchen" to be sidelined for an entire year for them to step up to the plate. I remind you Sirs this has been going on in the NFL for many years and Quarterbacks on crutches and in rehab with only a blind eye being taken from the league. Examples - 1. J.P. Losman suffering a blow to the knee by Vince Wolfork - Penalty - None / Rule Change - None 2. Carson Palmer put on IR after a blow to the knee by Kyle Van DenBosh - Penalty - None / Rule Change - None 3. Tom "Bunchen" .... The rules must be changed!!!!!!! WTF
  5. There will be a no brainer this season....Madden and Michaels will be calling a Bills game this year (that wasnt flexed). I wondering who ... I am thinking the Jets game because of their corners.
  6. Who is this Hardy you speak of??? The last Bill I remember seeing making plays on the field wearing the number 81 was Peerless Price.
  7. I choose other....because there was no ALL OF THE ABOVE Coaching - Young aggressive coaches who understand how to adjust in and out of the game. Coaches willing to get in the face of their players and willing to fight for them. Talent - We are settling and believing that the talent we have on our team is good. We have only two players on Offense who would start on those teams (Evans and Lynch). Possibly 0 on defense. Physical Players - Product of head coach who is as passive and meek as anyone I have seen. Quarterback - I was begging for Buffalo to trade with Houston on draft day. Houston was picking 10 and we were picking 13. The price of the trade had been set by the Manning and Rivers deal. Houston wanted Dante Robinson, and they would had gotten him after Pitt and NYJ picked. Evans was OUR GUY and then we trade back to get Losman. This team is close to being in the playoffs, but a longs ways away from being a champion.
  8. With Bruce being a given is there any chance for Andre or Ralph to go in as well. Personally, I think Ralph should loose votes for keeping dick
  9. I too am surprised. The fear of injury and potential dollars lost is normally the reason for lraving early see Willis. I wonder if its the new administration (Obama) and players waiting to see how things shake out in 2009
  10. Dont believe all the hype. I am living down here in Tampa, pre Gruden and post Gruden. Gruden has been given the label of an Offensive Genius and a Great Head coach. He is neither. In his time here in Tampa, he has done nothing but detsroy all that Dungy and McKay worked hard to build. The Bucs Superbowl was inevitable with the leagues top Defense and a solid running game. Gruden has never dveloped a young QB (in Tampa or Oakland) Tampa's Offense has never excelled as John Gruden would have you think Gruden has destroyed relations with popular Bucs such as: - John Lynch - Mike Allstot - Warren Sapp - Simeon Rice - Keanan McCardell - Keyshawn Johnson - Brad Johnson - Chris Simms - Shawn King - Brian Kelly - Michael Clayton - Joey Galloway - Jeff Garcia - Thomas Jones - Derrick Brooks - and others It was only a matter of time before Gruden was Fired. The odd thing about the firing was how late it came. I have NO INTEREST in Gruden coming to Tampa and if the Jets want him Ill start shredding the paper for the ticker tape parade. That franchised will be ruin for at least five years.
  11. Comparing Trent to Giambi??? Im thinking Shelley Duncan
  12. Well Done. I will say that there is no love between Gruden and Garcia. Living down here in Tampa it is well documented on the relationship between the two. Which fell apart last season when Garcia was benched at the end of the season causing him to miss his salaray bonus. Next was the unwillingness by the Bucs to renegotiate (as promised) a new contract for Garcia. Then there was the Brett Farve trade rumors during training camp. And the last straw came after Garcia was held out of games early in the season, with the coaching staff saying he was healthy / scratched in favor of Brian Griese. Garcia will not be back in Tampa in 2009. I would love to see him finish his career in Buffalo.
  13. Less than 24 hours after the season ends Jets, Lions and Browns FIRE their head coaches. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR RALPH??!!??!!??!!
  14. Whats with the love affair with Gruden. He is an absolute joke of a coach. I live down here and hear / see all of his crap. Anyone wanting this guy to come to Buffalo should do some more homework. Examples - Rich Mckay - Keshawn Johnson - Warren Sapp - John Lynch - Mike Alstott - Jeff Garcia - Simeon Rice - Alex Smith Tampa brought him in to improve the offense, but it has been Monte Kiffin who kept Dungy ship rolling for the SB
  15. Does it matter who is under center.... you drop back your tackle gets beat you fumble
  16. I did not agree with the play call. Losman should have made a quicker read on the FB falling down Dick .... Dumb A$$ .... Now you wonder why he lost the locker room ******* With that being said the focus of the debacle is being lost on the call and the end result. But if you look at how we got there. Our only bright spot of the 2008 season. Our #1 HOLD OUT. Jason Peters whiffs on his block giving a free pass for the pressure / sack. If Peters plays like the ProBowl tackle (like he wants to be paid like) there is a huge chance we would have won that game.
  17. I got this in my email today. WTF!!! ************************************************************ NFL Fan, The entire Bills Toronto Series team is thrilled that you decided to become such an important part of this historic series, and we’re confident your participation has created memories that will last a lifetime. In August and December the Buffalo Bills energy at Rogers Centre was palpable. The Bills presence in the city of Toronto brought the excitement of the NFL through exclusive events like the tailgate parties, concerts, and numerous NFL alumni appearances. We were also proud to bring exciting high school football to Rogers Centre on December 3, by sponsoring the OFSAA Football Bowls. These awesome experiences are just a preview of things to come in the next four seasons. Clearly, Toronto is ready for NFL football! Let’s keep in touch in the offseason — if you haven’t already, be sure to visit www.billsintoronto.com and sign up for insider updates. As soon as we know more about next season’s game, you’ll know! The Bills will play at Rogers Centre once in 2009 for another “home” regular season game, and it’s going to be even bigger and better than ever. Thanks again for all you’ve done for this series. We appreciate your support. We hope that you, too, have a true sense of pride in all you have done to help create a historic moment in Canadian sports. Go Bills!
  18. I was at the Sabres game last night here in Tampa and it is always fun as the Sabres fans cheer louder than the Lightening fans, but today's game was a joke. - The weather is on our side and we play in a friggin dome. - The so-called Bills fans from TO cheered for everything the Phins did. Do the friggin canucks even know where there bread is buttered.
  19. Why do people love TE and hate JP...well lets look at a few things A. Since Jim Kelly retired the Bills have yet to find a long term replacement, close to the excitement and ability. The team has gone through several quarterbacks with no success. B. The Bills traded back into the first round with Dallas to select JP. Giving up a 2 and 5 from 2004 and a 1 in 2005 (Demarcus Ware) C. There were mixed opions from BB brass on Losman which filtered its way to "Bills Fans". D. The team did not instill any confidence in JP telling him before his first career start that "if he made mistakes" they were pulling him. And promptly did so in the second game f the season. Oh by the way they were playing the #1 Defense in the league, for their home opener in 95 degree heat. I remember because I was at that game. E. Losman became MM excuse / scapegoat. F. Like said by other posters TE is no JP G. TE got an endorcement from Bill Walsh before he died. H. Like said by other posters TE is no JP I. TE is supposed to be the proto-typical west coast qb J. Like said by other posters TE is no JP K. Trent was not taken in the first round and Bills fans are hoping he becomes a Brady or Montana. L. Like said by other posters TE is no JP Personally, I am not a TE fan. I believe TE is one of those qb's who will play until he is 40 being a spot starter like a Gus Ferotte or someone like that. I like JP and only wish he had the support of the organization during his forst couple years like TE. For JP, his time in Buffalo is done. The majority of the fans critize every play even the good ones, and the organization wants to prove they were right with TE. I wish him well. Buffalo has to find a young QB who is a proven winner. He doesnt have to be a cover boy but someone who has had a solid college career of winning. They also need to get a vetran like a Jeff Garcia (FA in 2009) to steady the ship and let the young qb develop. JustMyOpinion
  20. Herm is a players coach who bleeds for his players. Not too mention Herm has been brought in on the teams way down . al la KC. A very young team who continues to fight. Maybe two years away from being truly competative. Jauron is a joke! A career 400 winning percentage. He had one good year and has lived off of that since. Not to mention Herm has at least had 4 winning seasons in 8 years and coached in 6 playoff game, where a DICK has had 1 winning season in 9 years and lost his only playoff appearance
  21. OK....we got the lead...Now Dick and Turk can call a ball control game plan..let TRINT handoff and throw to the flat..
