  1. So I just watched the all 22 on Tua's passes against Denver.  One thing that jumped out to me was he consistently threw to the place on the field where his head was at the snap.  He rarely tries to move the Mike or safeties.  It's been discussed a lot on here about the timing this offense executes in.  This bears it out.  They do a ton of in breaking routes.  I watched NE too.  NE played a lot of 3 high safety to keep everything in front of them.  The Miami screen game is one of the better ones I've seen.

Reading some of the posts in here about yesterdays Bills game, where the Bills fans were about 50% of the crowd (just guessing by what folks who were there said) got me wondering WTF is going on with all these NFL home teams not being able to fill their stadiums with their hometown fans? Saw it yesterday in Jacksonville (Chiefs fans), and Las Vegas (Steelers fans), and sort of sounds like there are a lot of Philly fans in Tampa. Are NFL tickets nowadays just like an investment, where the original purchaser knows they’ll be able to make buku $$$ by selling it to a visiting fan? I don’t like it, I don’t like it one bit.

It's pretty simple to understand.  Tickets are easily available on the resale market.  Season ticket holders can sell a game or three and make their seasons ticket price back.  Stadium drinking is down so in stadium atmosphere is much improved for visiting fans.  Back in the day, you had to get tickets direct from the Team, making it a challenge for out of town fans.  Now with the internet, easy-peasy if you are willing to pay the going rates on the resale market.  My buddy just told me he sold his Miami tickets for 500 each.  Nice seats, 20 rows up from field at 50 yard line behind Bills bench.  But 500 each, yikes!!

  3. For season through week 3, there was a lot to like:

Team is still liquid jello, ie still not fully formed, but let's review

    1. D giving up 12.33 points per game (7 INTs, 1 Pick 6)

    2. O averaging 30.33 points per game

    3. 300 total yards rushing in B2B weeks

    4. OLINE gave up zero sacks against a top DLINE yesterday

    5. Gabe 2 long TDs in 2 games

    6. Diggs is targeted and catching passes

    7. Bernard so far is holding his own and then some.  Definitely caused some on here major preseason angst

    8. Team is healthy and one game more before the return of the Von

    9. Leonard Floyd is balling

    10. DLINE is getting pressures and sacks (12)

    11. And of course, the Bills ended the Jets season in four plays.

I honestly started this thread just so I could post this unbelievable injury report from the Ravens:

For context imagine if James Cook was already out for the year, and we were playing this Sunday's game without Gabe Davis, Dion Dawkins, Mitch Morse, Damien Harris, Micah Hyde, Tre White, and Leonard Floyd. How does this happen to the Ravens every single year?

That Stanley contract has never panned out for the Ravens.

    Oh nice. A tropical cyclone.

Why...  I was hoping Bills would not get stuck playing in ridiculous weather this season.  This looks like it will be sitting right on top of the stadium at game time.  I was half tempted to go to this.  Now you can forget about it.  I have way too much experience driving in DC during weather and that's before you throw game traffic into the mix.  Diggs' homecoming game as a Bill and it will a-storming
