I am not watching this press conference, and yet I feel like I know everything coach is going to say.

When it comes to press conference, McDermott is basically a ChatGPT bot. I have confidence that if you told ChatGPT to create the manuscript for a Sean McDermott press conference, and then you did a blind comparison to a real McDermott press conference, they would be completely indistinguishable.

I'm not complaining. Belichick spent his entire HOF career not saying much in press conferences. It's just funny, that's all.

yeah. I don’t bother. Only important info he relays is the players not practicing. After that, it’s time well spent elsewhere.

He brought that point up also how McDaniel said he was going to play and then ended up not being able to go and McDaniel said that was an error on his part earlier in the week saying that.

Also MLJ made the comment that since they aren't playing for playoffs that McDaniel might be more reserved with the players this week to get them right for the playoffs.

Again, just his opinion on what might happen.

Mikey McDee has taken a lot of deserved incoming over the Chubb injury.  Have to figure each NFL team loses or gets dinged a few more players each week.  So can an already thin Miami team afford to lose another starter?  Has to figure into Mikey's calculus knowing he gets to play in week 19 regardless.  Best hope for the Fins is to get an early lead, extend it and then rest some guys in the fourth.  Now if the Bills miraculously have a playoff berth before Sunday night, the same arguments hold true for Buffalo.

These teams HATE each other. Regardless of the players involved, they typically play low scoring and one score games.  Baltimore will not laydown against the Steelers.   The most dangerous games in the playoffs, IMO, are between division opponents.  Just look at the Bills - Dolphins game last year.  Miami came to Buffalo without QB1 and gave the Bills all they could handle.  The Steelers are not a juggernaut this year.  Huntley vs Rudolph is a fair fight.

And oh yeah.  Baltimore has the most clutch kicker in the NFL...  And he will be playing.

It's probably wishful thinking on my part but I would not be surprised if the Ravens beat the Steelers on Saturday.

Mike McDaniel will test the Bills run defense early with Achane and their RBs. Specifically the outside runs. I will almost guarantee the Dolphins will target Dodson side the majority of the game. DBs will need to tackle well this game

This is what I think.  Achane likes to run outside to the left.  If he gets up to speed, he is hard to catch.

  6. If you throw out the outlier game of Dallas, I would say they are not better and might be worse.  Maybe not statistically, but the offense just doesn't look in sync.  These last two games were ugly performance wise.  At a time when the offense should be humming, it just feels like it is sputtering.  Doesn't feel playoff caliber at the moment.  Drops, Diggs getting 5-30, Davis going Missing In Action on the stat sheet, Knox a non-factor, etc all feel off to me.  He gets one more chance this weekend to right the ship against a banged up Miami defense.

the daytime temperature in January in Miami is not a factor. It is a “great home field advantage” much earlier in the season. This is the second erroneous post I’ve seen on this topic.

Don't disagree with the early season tempertures version the late season temperatures, ie 95 vs 75.  But...

I believe one team sweating in direct sunlight even at 75 degrees, while wearing dark uniforms to soak up extra heat is still an advantage for the home team.  And we all know the field temperatures are always more than the ambient.  Add to that the humidity for teams not used to practicing in it still gives Miami an advantage, even at night.  So the night game at least takes the direct sunlight off the Bills and their dark uniforms.

At the end of the day, the Dolphins have nothing to play for this week but pride. We need this game to get in. I think they rest their banged up starters against us.

Except 2 seed, home playoff game and AFCCG at home should Baltimore stumble.  I would say that is a lot to play for plus potentially knocking hated Bills and Josh Allen out of the playoffs.

  9. The OLINE struggled all game today.  Run blocking, pass blocking, didn't matter.  If there are any reporters on here, how about asking the Bills why they continued to run in the middle of the line.  It wasn't there all game.  But time after time, it was tried.

Credit goes to the Patriots.  They know how to defend Josh and the Bills.

That’s a standard NE game from this year no matter who they’re playing to be fair…that defense can play and the offense blows a 1-2 score game nearly every week

Bill’s team laydown for no one.

    True dat.

He was not inaccurate in the 2nd half. He missed the one deep throws to Diggs, that was all.

Our biggest problem by far on offense is pass catchers. They don't separate, they don't catch well, they don't get a lot of YAC. Kincaid and Shakir were just good enough today to make it happen. The rest were almost invisible.

The OLINE probably had one of their worse games today too.
