Better start practicing with Furguson and Bass

I’m sorry, but given all the injuries on D I am not enjoying any of this lead up.
I can’t stop thinking about this game, 24/7, and I can’t stop hoping and praying they get a reasonable number of these guys back on D. I want this game so very badly. I’d be willing to go bald all over again just to have it.
Please somebody come to my house and bash my head in with a hammer.
Just also be sure to wake me up by 6:30 on Sunday. Shaving and sponge bathing me until I am awake again shall not be required of you, but if it is your thing you may feel free to consider it a bonus.
Go Bills!
A good, disciplined and physical defensive line can cure/hide a lot of what ails ya. Fortunately that is the healthiest part of the Bills Defense. The weakest link on the Chiefs is the LT and RT. If Floyd and Rousseau can get home, and DQ and Eddie O can clog the middle, they have a decent chance in this game.

My early week thoughts
1. The Bernard injury is devastating. That kid’s tackling and nose for the ball is astounding.
2. Allen v Mahommes is great for the NFL.
3. Pachenco and CEH are going to run hard.
4. Could the Kelce brothers retire together after this one? Their podcast is awesome and this would give them more time to dedicate to it.5. Josh is going to hit Diggs on a deep route in stride this game. They’re getting closer to it each game.
6. I’d be surprised if Buffalo gets 100 combined rushing yards in this game.
7. Lewis and Hamlin and Jackson and Elam were playing behind Klein. Sheesh. Hopefully Buffalo gets some players back.
8. Josh is spinning the ball well. He had four incredible throws of which 2 were TDs and 2 should have been TDs. His pass to Kincaid in endzone at the pylon was broken up by Pitt but it had TD all over it. And Rowe got a tip on his goal line pass to Diggs that was also a TD.
9. I was surprised how little they went to Shakir.
10. Shakir and Harty could be the secret weapons against the Chiefs who will slant coverage to the TEs and Diggs.- 1

Last week Josh overthrew Diggs on an 89 yard td. Today he underthrew him on a 35 yard td. Diggs is banged up but still getting open. Josh is just a little out of sync with him.
On yesterday’s miss at the goal line where Rowe got a finger on it, Diggs signaled back to Josh that he missed it by an inch. An inch and that would have been a beautiful TD pass.

Can’t get on board with this. Do you really want Isabella taking a roster spot?

He was spot on about not throwing it before the first half 2m warning.

Bass is clearly broke. We hold our breath on every extra point. He kicks THE UGLIEST extra points.

Easier said than done in 6 days. If he loses a step temporarily, he may not be the right guy out there. Let's just hope it is not worse.
He sits no matter what. Buffalo doesn’t play injured players.

I love how many times NBC has said on the air that this game is being streamed exclusively on Peacock. Isn't that telling Noah about the flood?
Miami looks overmatched early.

So much for defense

Texans are no joke.

Are we rooting for the Texans or do we want Cleveland to play Baltimore next week ?
Cleveland. I think Cleveland Browns has a significantly better chance of upending the Cleveland Ravens.

I saw a coach interviewed once - can't remember who it was - but he said the actual gameplan isn't some ongoing thing. They usually get it together in a few hours, and spend the rest of the week practicing for it.
So, yeah - they get a bit more practice. But they also have to travel. It's not some huge advantage they'll have.
And I'll take the trade-off as a fan. The shorter prep time wouldn't mean much if we lost a flukey game tomorrow.
I think they get more physical recovery time. And that’s the biggest advantage. Extra days to heal.- 1

I think they should move the divisional game to London. Fly the Chiefs in early to get acclimated and then fly the Bills in late. You know, all in realm of experimentation to see if the playoffs can be played internationally in the future.

I think both teams deserve to play the game in reasonable football weather.

Hiring a coach before a GM is interesting. I know Buffalo did it with Sean and Brandon.

If the lake bands stay south, then the Steeler fans coming North may have a devil of a time getting there. Hochul, close the thruway south of Eden. 🙂 you know for public safety. 😈
