Burn it down? No. It means that it's already burned down if we cannot beat a system QB missing his two best weapons and one detrimentally injured. It means a path to the playoffs where Joe Burrow is out with injury and the Chiefs are underperforming will have been wasted because the Bills weren't ready on the road vs the Jets and Patriots. Because 12 men were on the field for a field goal. And it means that our cap realities mean that we will not be heavy bidders in free agency. It's not burning it down as much as we should prepare to sift through the ashes.

If the Bills do not win this game then they do not deserve to be in the playoffs and should consider eating bad contracts. And yes, I made excuses for them this season: losing a home game and being forced to play overseas vs a rested team. Bad injuries to core defenders. Bad ref jobs. Dorsey unprepared. If they lose today they were not good enough this season and will have limited chances to get better going into next year and fans should think about 2025

One, it's before a crowd that's looking majority Bills fans. It's more a home game than our "home game" vs the Jags And come on, you think this Miami team is championship caliber? They are built to beat up on bad and mediocre teams. The one win they have vs a team with a winning record is the Cowboys. They got lucky with their schedules and played teams at their worst while we played an objectively better slate of teams, effectively played every previous AFC division winner on the road (jags in London), the Eagles on the road, the Bengals in the two weeks Burrow was healthy and the best stretch Russel Wilson has had in three years. If they get the #2 they're going to get smacked embarrassingly in the division round Granted, we can blow it and miss the playoffs. That does more for us getting to a deep run than limping in at the #7th seed. Which I will still take, but I'm willing to let it all ride

I have had some time to come to terms. If the Bills can't beat this fraud of a contender on what looks like neutral ground with the Phins banged up then they weren't contenders anyway. Punch. Your. Ticket.

If he is, he's nowhere near to full speed. He's gone from missing two days of practice in a row. You don't go to full and the injury is supposed to take multiple weeks to heal. They will probably roll drug the hell out of him, put him out for a few snaps to open up stuff for Hill.

I am 100% sure that Hill will play, the question is how much he's slowed. I suspect this is gamesmanship from McDaniel. No matter what he's going to be playing people who are banged up.

To be fair, the exact same thing was said after the Bills game vs the Dolphins. Their use of motion with Hill was so precise that the Bills used the Dolphins going into motion as a timer to jump the snap. That was how they were getting such consistent pressure on Tua all day. Now, I would assume that McDaniels cleaned a bit of it up, but I believe that the tells are the biggest weakness to the use of motion to the extent that the Phins and Niners use it. Because you need the timing and motion to be perfect on the quick throws, there is a risk of predictability if you rely on it too much...which is the core of McDaniel's offense.

Nope. There's too much difference in the path between playing Houston/Indy/Pitt at home, and then KC, AFC South Winner or Clevehand at home vs playing the Dolphins/Chiefs on the road, and then Baltimore on the road.

Though I'll say that Torrance, a rookie 2nd rounder who's looked ok being the worst player on that O-line ...it's nice to see. He and McGovern have overall been excellent additions to the point where Bates has pretty much just been an insurance policy.
