  1. I'm not going to open this at work, but I'm hoping it's the gun battle from "Heat."
  2. Sounds like he got off pretty light, but I'm glad he finally owned up to it. I hope they took his license.
  3. If Harrison felt the shooting was justified, and felt his life was in danger from a drug dealer, he should have owned up to it. There is not a jury who would have convicted him. And having done the right thing, and being a Philly native son and celebrity, he'd have police protection around the clock if it was warranted.
  4. If he legitimately felt threatened, he should have owned up to the truth when the cops came by.
  5. I understand people sympathizing with Harrison due to the shady character of the guy he shot. But keep in mind he also shot an innocent bystander, and it sounds like he also showed little regard for a small child who was nearby.
  6. Seriously guys, look outside, the sky is falling. If you agree, you should probably go find a door to stand in. Hopefully away from a keyboard.
  7. 1. Mr. Wilson doesn't owe you fried potatoes. If you feel differently, write him a letter. Stop bothering us. 2. There is a very good chance the team will be moved after he passes away. It's not about attendance, we're already in the top 10 in the league of attendance. It is about maximizing revenue, and there's not much more to be squeezed out of Buffalo. Most likely, someone who spends the hundreds of millions of dollars it will take to buy this team will want maximum return on their investment, and they're not going to get it in Buffalo.
  8. I lived in Brooklyn for a few years (now in NJ), and never knew it had a typical attitude. If it does, I'm pretty sure RTDB doesn't have it. He has more of a Chautauqua County attitude, you jerk. That's my NJ attitude, BTW.
  9. Ok, maybe I don't want what he's having. Jeebus.
  10. No, but it must be appealing to have his Daddy come along with him.
  11. I think the idea is that after the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl was very anti-climactic.
  12. Probably why it hasn't happened yet; he's still trying to find security who will agree to escort him out of the building.
  13. Tim, I have a similar ownership related question which I'm hoping you might have some insight into. With Mr. Goodell being from Western NY, do you think he might actually go above and beyond to keep the team in Buffalo when the time comes? For example, might he consider allowing Buffalo to become another publicly owned team, like the Packers? I understand there are many practical reasons why this unlikely, but would he have the power to do so? Or might he exert some influence to make sure the team goes to an ownership group committed to keeping the team in WNY?
  14. So Brohm didn't have a supporting cast in Green Bay where they put up 45 points on Sunday?
  15. This is still around, huh? WAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!
  16. I have Insider, nothing there.
  17. Does anyone have a link to ESPN reporting this, or was it on TV this morning? I'm not finding anything on their website.
  18. He took a team with a built in handicap (attention to academics) and had a chance to win one of the toughest conferences in football. He also beat the snot out of Pete Carroll and USC, and with much less talent on the roster. He's a leader, and an overachiever, and that's why some folks want him to come to Buffalo.
  19. I'm not worried about Old Al and the Rooney rule. Remember, he hired Art Shell as the first African American Head coach in modern history.
  20. Players from the teams in the Super Bowl won't be playing.
  21. Actually, the rule now applies to front office positions (including GM as well.) http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...9061502806.html
