The Giants backed into a buzz saw last week. I was not impressed by the Buffalo Bills vs the Jets, I thought we really stunk it up. Way to many mistakes.

Giants are better then most think here. I seen them play last week, they are a solid physical team and will be playing balls to the wall this week.

    Bills 14 Giants 24

Eli and Barkely get it done at home. Both teams go to 1-1.

Not impressed by our defense last week?  Held Bell to under 70 yds and one TD.  Offense was uninspiring for three quarters, but got the job done late and got the "W" in enemy territory for their home opener.

Giants are without their two top wideouts and Latimer is questionable with a calf injury.  No doubt Giants are better than they played at Dallas, but will be hamstrung without many of their weapons at wideout.  We need to stop Barkley and Engram, but I see our defense getting it done.  Giants defense is a mess and their secondary looked completely lost last week.

I don't see us losing this game and would be shocked it we did.  I'm going and hope to see us win big.  GO BILLS!

  2. Heading to the game with several guys that I work with.  Thanks for the intel Mr. Lenz on the Bills Backers tailgate location!  Not sure if I will make it over there, but who knows.  There is always a good turnout of Bills fans at Giants games so it should be fun.

Alright, the masses win.  Allen was amazing.  His throws made angels cry.  Ditka retired rather than having to coach against him 30 years later.  They are going to rename the quarterback position "The Allen".  His incomplete passes were to make the opposing team feel appreciated.

I'm just busting B@ll$ Virgil.  Not to speak for the masses, but for me, Allen was beyond "pretty good".  Can he be better, absolutely.   Does he have accuracy concerns, yes as he threw behind receivers on several slants.  But he is a rookie, with a less than average o-line, lack of a strong possession TE  and a receiver corps that lacks a true #1 that is a baller and something that the Bills have not had in a very long time.

Good write-up and Happy New Year.  GO BILLS!

Strangely. They feed manatees lettuce, an item I suspect Rob is not familiar with....

Very true.  In the Wegman's commercials, neither Rex nor Rob were ever filmed in the produce aisle.  Healthy food could not sustain their bicycle built for two ride.

Their fans have had enough of him. I live on Long Island and they wanted him gone after last year.

Even more recently I went to the game at MetLife with my cousin and uncle both jets season ticket holders and a bunch of their Jests fans. They were discussing how they wanted REX RYAN back. That’s how idiotic their fan base is and desperate they are.

Rex Ryan back with the Jets would be perfect along with his sidekick, Rob "Huckleberry" Ryan.  Talk about a Christmas miracle for Bills fans.

Asking Bills fans if they are depressed is a rhetorical question right?

I'd say it's more like a loaded question.

Fear not, Step tide. Yes, it’s only December and we’re done. But the NFL is still alive for the entire month of January and early February. We need only get better to enjoy another month. FA, the Draft, miniCamp, OTA’s, etc. keep the team in the news throughout the year and everyone’s back for the new season in late July. Being a Strong playoff team means the season stretches in to 8 months with just 3+ off. Let’s get Strong!

Absolutely!  Out of "cap hell" with some money to spend in FA and a draft filled with talent that can help our team, makes for a strong and hopefully very positive 2019 season ahead of us.  GO BILLS!

I’m watching the last 8 minutes right now. What a horrible job by the chiefs offense not being able to get a 1st down on their last drive to close out the game and not calling a TO.

andy Reid starting his playoff swoon early this year

Horrible job by chefs defense as well.  Williams had quite a night.  Guy has height and hands.  Serious coverage breakdown as he was all alone for 2 point conversion with 4 seconds left.  Nice win for the bolts.

Daboll isn't doing Allen, or the Bills, any favors.  If Allen fails, it will be due to horrible coaching.

OC's fault?  Zay Jones #1 receiver and the remaining players are rookies/practice squad talent, OL that is sub-par, TE's that are less than sub-par led by Clay, rushing production led by our QB....yeah that's all Daboll's fault.

I'd blame Daboll if the OC was loaded with talent and was still ineffective because of poor play calling, but given our present composition on the offensive side of the ball, I would say it's premature to call out Daboll at this point.

Nah. Red Helmet, red jersey, red pants, red socks, red cleats.

If we can't beat em, overload them with color & blind the cameras. It'll make it so fans won't know for sure the passes were incomplete, or that we got stuffed behind the line. It gives us hope!

The real overload was when we played the all green jests a few years back for a Thursday night game.  Quite the sight, except if you were color blind.

I agree that Allen shouldn't play unless he's healthy enough, but I don't think that necessarily means he has to be 100%.

Guilty of hyperbole with regard to the coaching staff ... but not much.  Again - I think it's mostly Daboll calling terrible games.  When he's been forced to go against his pass-happy ways, the line looks better, the running game flourishes and the Bills win.  That's on McDermott, who took the defense into his own hands which has resulted in great success (IMO).  I know he's not an offense guy, but he is the head coach and he needs to see that passing far too frequently is hurting the team - not to mention his first round QB.

Why would you play him if he was less than 100% and how is he more likely to get injured next year if he is sidelined?  Serious question.  I understand that reps are important, but behind this o-line, he could potentially receive not only a season ending injury, but possibly a career ending injury.  Throwing him to the dogs at this point would be ill-advised in my opinion.

You can call out the coaches all you want, but at the end of the day, players have to make plays.  Receivers dropping balls, Peterman being Peterman, an o-line that is horrible, etc., etc. etc.  Give Daboll some quality players and then we can truly assess how bad the play calling is.

  11. 36 minutes ago, Gugny said:

He'll be just as likely to get hurt next year if he stands next to the coaches for the rest of this year.

I believe the upside to keeping him out their heavily outweighs any downside.  Even with the rule changes, the NFL is still tough and players get hurt in every game.

These coaches you want him to stand next to ..... they all suck and they're the biggest reason he's hurt right now.  Specifically Daboll for calling too many pass plays and McDermott for not controlling the situation as head coach.

The circus last year with benching Tyrod, then starting Tyrod, then benching Tyrod .... was a joke.  If McDermott does the same thing again with different QBs, that's going to tell me a lot about his readiness (or lack there of) to be an NFL HC (the doubts have already begun to creep in).

Lastly - Beane and McDermott have built a roster on which Josh Allen is the best QB.  Derek Anderson sucks and all of us know it.  Peterman .... he's Peterman.  Josh Allen is the best QB on the team and not putting the best QB on the field = tanking.   Jesus hates tankers.

We should have never traded McCarron.  Foolish move by Beane, but it's too late to lament over it.

Allen is "week to week" so it is doubtful he plays against Indy, maybe against Pats* if he is healthy because it is MNF on a national stage, but he could get absolutely wrecked against a tough Bears defense with our $%&# show of an o-line?  If he is healthy, he should play regardless BUT I don't want to see them rush him back before he is 100%.  There is absolutely no reason to do this.  At the end of the day, Daboll needs to make better adjustments to what the opposing defenses show and on pass plays, scheme so that he can get the ball out of his hands quickly.  Having him sit back in a pocket is setting this kid up for a major injury.

Your a little dramatic saying that "all of our coaches suck" given the level of talent (or lack thereof) that our offense possesses (with the exception of McCoy).  The reason Allen is hurt is due to poor play calling, a terrible offensive line and a clear lack of playmakers at wideout.

Thought I was going to buy it this weekend but I don't have the funds.

I transferred my funds into a new account and they put it on hold for 10 days.  I can only access $5,000 before then.  I want to put down around 12k but I'll have to wait.  I hate this policy.

With Check 21, your bank will know if the funds are good by the third business day after check was deposited.  With it being a new account, they will probably stick to the 10 day hold however based upon policy.  Large deposits into new accounts typically send up some red flags.  Speak to someone in authority at the bank and explain your situation.  If they stick to the policy, find another bank.  Next time if you can wire or ACH the funds or even use a P2P vehicle to move you money, you should not have to deal with a check hold.  The key is to avoid checks, especially with a new account.
