  1. Who's bringing what?

I was so busy smoking and grilling food the past month. Pretty much since the start of the season. I really don't know if I'm going to do anything this week. I might take a day off and relax.

    What's everyone else doing?

Good to hear your going to the game!

I'm bringing the grills, so maybe some sausage before the game. Taco salad for after and some garlic toast to go with the chili.

  2. Bringing some sweet Italian sausage, chicken sausage and some lamb sausage with sharp provolone and peppers for after the game. Bloody mary's will of course be served and always pair well with MRAGS breakfast sandwiches and Mead's breakfast stromboli. See you guys tomorrow. GO BILLS!

Seriously, good luck John. Don't ever sell yourself short. You served your country and have worked your way up the ranks at your present job. You sound like a very honorable person that brings a lot to the table and most importantly, you are a Bills fan!

When the German's attacked Pearl Harbor was it over....HELL NO!! Now go on that date and most importantly, have FUN!!

  4. he actually said it was not at all about money. He wanted to play for a contender, close to Fla. That may or may not be an option for him, but I don't see him just going to the highest bidder regardless of circumstance.

You can believe what he is putting out in the media, but I don't buy it for a minute. He is in the final years of his career and already has a championship ring, so IMHO, he will go to a team that offers him the most cash.

I don't begrudge him for this at all, but I also hope we do not overpay for his services either.

  5. Holy crap. We live close to Hershey park, and since we have 4 kids we get season passes. They have that exact same ride there...called "the claw."

I call it the puke factory, but my 7 and 9 year old sons love it, so i ride it with them anyway. i have to stare straight up in the air to keep from getting sick.

two nights ago i let them go on without me, and i must admit it was a little stressful watching their little bodies getting flung back and forth and up and down suspended only by that restraint. but they meet the height requirement, so i guess it's "safe."

I also guess I can assume that the multi-billion dollar enterprise that is Hershey Entertainment has slightly stricter standards for safety and the mechanical integrity of its rides than "Amusements of America." I hope.

Ugh. RIP and condolences to all affected by this tragedy.

We're staying for a few days at Hershey Park on our way home from Outer Banks. I saw "the claw" on their website and thought it looked similar to the ride involved in the accident.

I have no concerns for myself or my family at permanent parks like Hershey or Six Flags. However, the traveling carnival rides are a different story.....

They had a recent incident at the Six Flags in Lake George (Great Escape) on the Sky Ride. Media at first made it sound like it was a ride malfunction, but after lengthy investigation and lack of assistance by family of girl who was injured, they determined that the cause to be "human error" and the girl was screwing around and slid out of her seat.

Same thing with the shark attack argument.

One has to ride in vehicles if they want to be viable in this society.

One doesn't need to gratuitously swim in the ocean or take a thrill ride @ the State Fair.

What part of gratuitous don't we understand?

Wow! I will just leave it @ that.

    :-(

Greater chance of getting struck by lightning than getting attacked by a shark. I am more concerned by rip tide currents in the ocean than being attacked by a shark.

  6.

What QB option would have performed better than Taylor and gotten them to the playoff's? And plz don't say Romo...

I was going to ask the same question. For the naysayers, give specifics on what their plan would be. It's easy to criticize without providing any details on why it was a bad move to bring TT back.

I like the move and it eliminates the need to risk a high pick on a QB. We have more pressing needs in our secondary and at receiver.

  7. Spot on DC. Eugene is definitely an opportunist, but I believe that his loyalty still rests with the Alexandria crew. Love that he stays true to his geek persona. Three hot chicks in his room and he continues to play his video games without getting his mullet spiked into a mohegan....
