Jimm Kelley was pretty good but not sure he was worth a first round pick.

Rotoworld reports that JP Losman has received no known
billsfreak replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the most amazing part of all of this is, J.P.has every bit of talent if not more that Fitzpatrick and is every bit as good as him, and we were willing to give Fitz millions on the first couple days of free agency like he was the second coming of Joe Montana or something. I still say if Losman could ever get under a coach who can get inside his head, he could still have a decent career, because he does have as good of physical tools as almost any QB in the league and more physical tools by a country mile of any QB on the Bills roster. Part of me still thinks that the Mularkey regime really screwed with this guys head, yanking him in and out based on one or two series of downs, and throwing Kelly Holcomb in every other game. I agree with anyone who says he was a disappointment on the field, but he is the only Bills QB since Kelly who actually took to the Western New York area and wasn't headed straight to the airport to leave at the soonest possibility. I am glad he is gone from here, it was obvious it wasn't going to work, but I really hope he gets another chance and actually turns into a serviceable QB in this league. -
Whitner has been charged

Maybe the commissioner will just let us forfeit the first 3 games and then clear the slate for all of our criminals and thugs, and even out all the suspensions. -
Who has ESPN Insider?? They are reporting..

The only part of anything that Fred Jackson is better at than Lynch is staying out of trouble off of the field. Having a wife and kids, is probably a good part of the reason why Jackson has reached a level of maturity that Lynch can't get close to yet. As far as producing on the field, whether running or catching, Jackson doesn't compare to Lynch at this point. -
I have been a card collector for over 40 years and a dealer for almost 15. Bruce only has one rookie card, it is 1986 Topps (card #389), a green background card with little white stripes. That set also has Andre Reed's only rookie card. Until the late 1980's, players didn't have a football card until after thier rookie season, that is why since Bruce was a rookie in 1985, his rookie card is 1986.

This organization is becoming a real embarassment
billsfreak replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never said it was the organization's fault, the previous poster said he doesn't care or it doesn't matter what players do off the field. I was pointing out that Lynch's off the field acts are affecting what goes on on the field. Although if you want to point blame on the team, they did draft him when he already had a checkered history while he was in college, actually at the time it was maybe the one surprising pick for me during the Levy GM tenure because of his history and Marv's attitude towards character. -

I think you are way off in your opinions. Who have the Dolphins had that has gotten in trouble lately? or for the last few years? And we do compare to these other teams. Since when is "only one DUI" a good thing? Apparently you haven't had a drunken driver affect anyone you know. And I don't think we get more attention because we are Buffalo, if anything we get less, because the majority of the country's fans, don't care about us. The media and fans have crucified the Bengals over the last few years, so you can't say we get more attention than they do. -

I agree! If anyone thinks the Superbowl era Bills didn't party they are missing the boat. But they partied in Jim Kelly's basement and other players houses and not in strip clubs or bars where everyone knew who they were and made them a target. It is just common sense that would help these current players avoid 99% of the problems they are having, but apparently common sense is something they seriously lack. -
He is the starting Punt Returner and plays probably 10 snaps a game at WR, so I dont' really consider him a Part Time Player. The Bills pay Lindell a couple million, he plays what 3 or 4 plays a game with our terrible offense? How much does Josh Reed make? Parrish makes more game changing plays than he does. When you consider how much money we have in our below average DE's (except Schobel when healthy), Rosoe seems like a bargain.

Look! Another Peters thread!
billsfreak replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can we either just sign him, trade him, cut him or throw him out of a plane? I am so tired of hearing Peters name this off season. -

So you don't care what they do off the field? How about Lynch, what he does off the field is now hurting the team on the field. It is all one big picture. -
With his lack of size and brilliant return skills, I don't think the Bills ever invisioned his as a #2 receiver.
-
Because I like Roscoe, my heart says a 3rd or 4th but realistically all we will probably get is a 5th or another back up lineman to go with all of the backup lineman we have signed this off season so far.

how much do you hate this offseason?
billsfreak replied to drinkTHEkoolaid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't think that the outlook could get much worse than it was when last season ended, but this disaster of an offseason has taken the lack of hope to an all new low level. -

I am not embarassed and have no reason to be, but the organization should be without question. -

The Bills alone have had what, 3 run ins with the law in the last 4 months? I don't recall any from the NBA, much less 4. So the Bills alone have had more problems than the entire NBA, so your point is mute. The NFL has what 4-5 times as many players as the NBA and at least 10 times as many arrests. -

I agree, the fans in Western New York or Bills fans in general can no longer criticize Bengals or Cowboys fans,we have become a clone of the Bengals. We have been an embarassment in the FO for the better part of a decade, but at lease we kept high character players and weren't a walking police blotter. We have truly become the joke of the NFL in all aspects now. Lynch, Simpson, Whitner, Hardy among others not to mention they add the biggest A-hole in the NFL to the team in Owens. When Marv Levy says act like you have been there before, he didn't mean in a jail cell. I don' think it can get any worse, but I thought that a few months ago too, and a few more reasons to be embarassed have occurred. Where do we go from here? -
T. Graham's new Peters article
billsfreak replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me personally, I hope we dump Peters and the sooner the better, if for no other reason than I am tired of hearing about him and his whining and his holdout. He isn't now and never will be worth what he is asking and his work habits and dedication are far below his physical talents, and that will keep him from ever being worthy of a Pro Bowl selection. Note I said worthy, unlike last season where he would have beent he last LT to go to the Pro Bowl based on performance. -
Joyous News For Joe Ferguson and His Family
billsfreak replied to RobynMundyWYO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is great news for a great guy. Seems like a he was our QB for nearly a lifetime. We need more people with the character and class of Joe Ferguson representing our team. God Bless Joe and his family. -
Fred Jackson shows for conditioning
billsfreak replied to LynchMob23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really like Lynch on the field, but off the field I don't trust him either. Players like him always apologize, hoping it lessens their punishment. I really think maybe it is time to draft another franchise running back, because one more slip up, and we probably will lose Lynch for a whole season, and maybe for good. Look at the NFL over the past decade, alot of players have slipped up once and recovered. How many have had multiple screw ups and been able to recover? It seems to me that once they get into multiple slips, it doesn't stop there, the snowball just keeps rolling. -

Is it time yet for a positive TO report?

"Good Boy T.O.! You showed up for voluntary minicamp when we really can't expect you to at the measley rate of $6.5 million for one year. Kudos to you, NFL Man of the Year!" There, there is your positive T.O. report. -

I guess it really depends on where you grew up. I never really paid too much attention to the landscaping, I just wanted to get in the building!
