  1. I would assume you're talking about Ronnie Lott. He was a corner in college. Dennis Smith and Tommy Mcdonald (His son is a saftey there now) were very good safties and went there too.....20 plus years ago. OR I thought Lil Donte went to Ohio State!
  2. If you are a big Beatles fan, go see the Fab Faux. I took my Mom, who grew up with them in the 60's, to go see them last year in D.C. It was one of the best concerts that I've ever been to in my life. They replicate every sound, every horn/string and every harmony to a T. My mother started crying half way through because she became so nostalgic. She was calling her 3 sisters during the concert and everything. They must have played for 2.5-3 hours and sang so many great songs and even a bunch of obscure songs that I love ("Oh, Darlin", "Why don't we do it in the road" and "One after 909"). They sang half of Abbey Road starting with Golden Slumbers, really amazing stuff. If you are a fan, go see them. There is nothing like it!
  3. Not even worth it. The lineage of USC players scares me a bit to. Everyone wants to get on the Big Ten for sucking, which it does, but the Pac 10 hasn't been very good either. I think USC and their palyers have benefited a ton from that. Leinart, Bush (for who he was coming out and where he was picked), Jarrett, M. Williams, Justice, Colbert were all All americans and have been busts or are out of the league. The defense hasn't been much better either. S. Cody, Rucker, Bing, Startz, Udeze were all big time players too and have amounted to nothing. I'm not saying Mays is one of those guys but maybe he is taking advantage of the Pac 10. This season, the Defense is his. I read a quote from PC saying how they were going to move him around alot to showcase his talent. Maybe this year he'll be more than "pretty in pads".
  4. Fox on Peppers: "I don't know if there is a better Defensive End in the NFL"
  5. You nailed it! The guy looks unreal in his pads. His dad was a good player. His 40 is ridiculous. But I don't see it translating onto the field. Maybe it's because he's had to much talent around him in the past. It's tought to shine when you are playing with 3 LB's in front of you who were all gone in the first 35 picks. He only has 1 INT over the last two years. With the talent in front of him and the Pac 10 being a "passing" conference", he should have more big plays when the ball is iin the air. He reminds me of what Roy Williams is now, a big hitter who can't cover. USC's defense is perfect for him becasue they use both safties like LB's. He will be switched to SS/WLB the same way T. Davis from Carolina was becasue of his inability to cover.
  6. I only wish we had a S like Berry. I think Mays is overrated. People are so in love with his size/speed combo and lineage. I hear Sean Taylor comparisons all of the time but Sean Taylor might have been one the best college football player that I have ever seen. The guy was only scrathing the surface when he passed.
  7. I was listening and I fell asleep. What did he say?
  8. FSU could have used him on Monday night! Do ya see what happens when you recruit smart players?
  9. Not sure if thats a shot at me but I'm fine with that. <---Eventually when you do this every Fall Sunday you will shed a tear.
  10. What do you two expect? You two would've been perfect Enron employees; eyes closed, mouths shut, march on! It's all there in front of you fellas, the NFL and media view this organization as a joke. Why? Because we are! Look at our front office, we don't even know who runs the team! Look at our coach! You guys have battered wife syndrome! It's not that the naysayers are not fans, we are realists who deal with reality. If you want to walk into work every Monday morning with a black eye and a smile thats fine, but don't tell us we're wrong because we are sick and tired of it.
  11. Great another overrated Penn St. Linebacker with a reconstructed knee living off the LB U rep (See Dan Connor). No thanks, we got one! Navvaro Bowman on the other hand would look nice here.
  12. -Year after year, you see the other teams around us getting better. Look no further than the AFC East. The Dolphins and Jets combined for 5 wins in '07. They followed up '07 by combining for 20 wins in '08! The Bills have won 7 games 3 years in a row. Not to mention that we haven't made the playoffs in a decade. -My breaking point came during the '07 season which was the year that made my group give up our season tickets (7 years). The Broncos (The Drive and kick), Dallas (Do I have to remind you?"), New England (The massacre at home), Cleveland (Trent exposed in the cold), Giants (Trent exposed in the cold II). Those games were so hard on me, not because of the losses but the way we lost. Heartbreaking, embarrassing and uninspired losses that took a toll on my season ticket crew. The Bills lost 8 season ticket holders that year. -Dick Jauron. Is there a more uninspiring football coach? Watch a Joe Pa pep rally. If you watched Hard Knocks and saw the way M Lewis talked to his team and the respect that he gets it amazed me. Here is a guy who has been a huge dissapointment but his players are still on board and want to win for him. DJ puts you to sleep with his rambling press conferences. Blows your mind with his gameday decisions. Angers you with his indecisivness. He is a loser and he has ripped the optimism out of me. If he is at the helm, I know the Bills will be mediocre. -"The point of living and of being an optimist, is to be foolish enough to believe the best is yet to come." -Peter Ustinov I am very optomistic when it comes to my daily life, when it comes to the Bills Ustinov's quote nails it.
  13. If they are all in their prime, Bledsoe. If they are in the shape they were in when they got here, Bledsoe followed by Flutie and then Nall.
  14. He wants to stay close to his 14 kids........and their 7 Mommas.
  15. It's Thursday morning The guillotine is ready Bills gameplan is not
  16. Can you explain these? I think I get Lynch but still, full explanation...please.
  17. Take a hike Walker "Mail Man's" kid at left tackle Screw Child Support!
  18. Schopp reminds me of Bill Maher except Maher is funny, entertaining and fearless.
  19. Thats fair, but what you can't teach are functional speed, quickness and agility. Another thing that Poz is lacking IMO are instincts. Not to sound redundant but when does he ever make plays in the hole? Or make a play on the ball in the air? When you watch other MLB's, and there are a ton of very good ones out there, they do it all. I don't think Poz is horrible, but one of the posters said that he is on his way to being one of the better MLB's in the NFL. I actually think Poz is better suited for the 3-4 because he is physical at the POA, he's a good tackler and has some good size. But if we are going to continue to run this C2 I never see him being anything more than an average MLB. I hope i'm wrong.
  20. Turk confuses me Speaking is not my strong suit What was Marv thinking?
  21. Dude, your parent named you after cereal for God Sakes!
  22. He benefited from the Big Ten sucking the last couple of years. For the Bears to not put a 5th round pick on the practice squad says it all.
