  1. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3685684 I know how much everyone here loves when people react to media respect...so here ya go....No Bills, not one person? My how things change, not only from people here but in general. Here's to hoping for a Bills W this weekend!
  2. Fairchild would have absolutely gotten fired.
  3. Agreed there - I mean to say that Marshawn Lynch is worse than Erik Flowers? Well that's just down right mean.
  4. Yeah I think fans really do care. I mean I just enjoy the extra exposure since I don't live in Buffalo. It's nice to hear some different stories - you don't have to call it respect if you dont' like that word, but I sure do enjoy the ESPN exposure.
  5. I definitely agree with Trent's game - I think Mcgee is the #1 reason we were down so much today. I'm thinking that we would have given up maybe 14 points on defense without Mcgee in there. Did he give up all of Mcginn's passing yards?
  6. We might get a compensatory pick for simply losing a player but since he was an undrafted free agent I'm not sure that we get any compensation if we refuse the right to match his offer.
  7. Gotta thank the staff member at Coe College that asked Marv to take a look at this kid who was working out on a side field one day. Awesome story.
  8. I don't disagree with the take on Preson at all but he had a chance to win the starting job out of camp, he didn't do anything AT ALL!!!!! Yeah Fowler is small but at least he is intelligent enough to read blocks and lead the line. Preston will never be the starting center for The Buffalo Bills. If it happens, I suppose my avatar is on the line (and I'm not just talking for one game, I mean like first on the depth chart in general).
  9. Are you trying to tell me that the defense wasn't overmatched from the start? Granted they had to work with a short field but they were just awful. Not the end of the world mind you, it hurts they lost this bad but it may be a better situation for humility to get blown out. Agreed though that TE is definitely the heart and soul of this team. You don't even need to take Warner out in Buffalo to have the loss be lopsided, Arizona can't win on the road. Good points, but I'm stickin by my earlier post - our offensive and defensive lines were overmatched, our corners were waay overmatched, so yeah not too far from overmatched from the start but appreciate the response.
  10. JP Losman caused the loss? You guys crack me up - by the time JP had his first interception the game was out of reach....he played a pretty good game, FOR A BACKUP. Let's be honest, that's what he is at this point. The coaches called SEVERAL draw plays on third and more than 5. I blame the coaches for not having confidence in the offense, which granted is justified but come on, how else are we going to win. I also blame the injury on McGee as being a HUGE hit to our team. But to blame JP????? Give it a rest.
  11. what we learned is that we were just not that good in this game. We were overmatched from the gun, and what we also learned is that we have a lot of work to do if we want to make the playoffs - 4-1 is great but we need to make sure we aren't 4-4 going into the game at New England which at this point seems very possible. Welcome back to Earth.
  12. Concussion to quaterback usually equals at least a fine, willing to bet on this one being the same.
  13. Or look at the Patriots, Laurence Maroney is hardly a #1 back in the league, Giants have Plaxico, big deal....and what about the Ravens when they won the Super Bowl? Uhm.....Trent Dilfer, Jamal Lewis....and who was their big receiver? Good defense, I'll hang my hat on that.
  14. There are a few Bills fans that watch the game at Rusty O'Reilly's at Michigan and Orange. I generally go to Spatz in Winter Park to watch the game but I'm usually the only Bills fan there enjoying the game. I believe the Bills backers go to a bar near Aloma and 436.
  15. Agreed with your post John from Hemet. We almost got trapped last week, it's crazy to think Dick won't have his boys ready to play to avoid the same "let down" we showed through 3 quarters.
  16. Darn, knew it was a kick of some sort. I still tell people who care to listen about that moment and the Eagles game I was at when Cunnningham eluded Bruce Smith in his own endzone and bombed a pass that went for a touchdown. Two memories from when I was like 12 or something like that.
  17. Wow 1992 huh? I believe it was a punt return though....correct me if I'm wrong.
  18. I was at that game.......I think that was their only score of the game. That was my least favorite game I ever saw, it was raining like crazy.
  19. "About a decade ago, NFL Films shot a roundtable discussion with several branches of the Bill Walsh coaching tree. " Wait a second.....shouldn't this say something to the likes of the Marv Levy coaching tree??? Didn't Levy hire Walsh out of his highschool job for the coaching ranks? That's right! It all comes back to Marv!
  20. I agree with that sentiment....what happens if we don't take it one game at a time? I mean come on, everyone who is a true Bills fan has that skepticism in the back of their minds. I saw screw it, it's been a loooong freakin time since we've been any good, even if we go 0-13 the rest of the way (which obviously will not happen) at least we enjoyed the 3 weeks in the spotlight. Enjoy it now, it could last 5 years or 5 weeks!!
  21. Agreed with the Jersey purchase being a delicate situation. My Antwain Smith and #80 authentic Billy Brooks jersey don't get a lot of wear now a days. I did wear the Smith jersey to the Jags game though, maybe it's good luck.
