Maybin played a ton yesterday - I made it a point to take notice. I would estimate 35-40% of the snaps. Now whats your excuse? The guy has not made one single play the entire season - not a sack, not a nice tackles, not a QB pressure, not a bull rush, he hasnt even had a quick first step.

We are talking actual weight, not what they are listed at.

From what I knew about this coaching staff, that sounds 100% correct.

Sorry to beat this dead horse, but I feel this pick is just a microcosm of what is wrong with the Bills. Orakpo had another 1.5 sacks today (thats 1.5 more than the entire Bills roster today) meanwhile Maybin has done nothing but disappoint. The number of guys out performing him is just astounding. Orakpo, English, Barwin, Brown, Johnson, they are all playing more and actually rushing the passer on better teams with better defenses and showing NFL level strength and athletism. I know this is just 10+ years or frustration but come on - who actually thought Maybin was any good in college let alone the NFL. Such a disgrace. As if it needs to be said again, but we really need to clean house.

You forgot that our free agents strategy has been sign other teams backups/cast offs for 10 years while letting our good/probowl players leave.

He was on the field a lot today - I focused on finding him before every snap. You just cant notice him because he is that bad.

I guess I dont understand the Lynch blows comments. There are no holes to run through so he carries 3-4 defenders for 4 yards... whats to complain about? Please direct your anger at the OL which hasnt opened a running lane since week 2.

Big, cold weather, pro system...he looks good. I would prefer more career starts though...

Does it really even matter? The Bills will sit there with a top 5 pick and draft some "Maybin esq" player while passing on a sure fire stud "Orakpo esq" player. Replace the names with Whitner/Ngata, M.Williams/B.McKinnie Lynch/Beason...... IMO the later we draft the better, because there are just less players for us to pass on and me get pissed about. PS I pray to GOD we dont take some QB, because I have ZERO faith that our POS front office can evaluate talent. My money is they draft the terrible worst QB ever in Snead. FML.

Just because you draft a QB high doesnt mean he is good. Look at J. Russel - he sucked every day in his life but somehow some football retards signed off and made him the 1st pick in the draft. Clauson doesnt do what it takes to win and is a little B word playing for a complete POS coach. Bradford may be an even bigger kitty who only dominated one year but no one likes to admit that Oklahoma team was a dominating run first/play action second team. Bradford never carried that team, but rather rode them to a Heisman. Considering the Rams/Browns/Raiders/Redskins/Seahawks could all target QBs and draft before us I dont think this is a good year. Our best hope is that a rookie payscale gets put in place which forces a lot of talent out early to cash big paychecks and we get a guy in the 2nd/3rd. We need 2-3 new OL, 1 DT, 2 DEs, and an LB.

What makes people think Maybin can even play OLB? He hasnt showed any promise of any kind. This whole idea he should be a 3-4 OLB..... why? He has no strength and does not play with leverage. Considering 3-4 OLBs are the pass rushers.... he would still suck. He has no use at any position at this point. But I actually saw him on the field a lot today, too bad he didnt make one single play.

How can we focus on Poz when our other two LBs were Draft and Scott? Yea Poz is not great but Draft 100% blows, Scott is a safety, and if Dickie had his way, Ellison wouldnt leave the field. Ellison FYI is the worst starting LB in the NFL. Our D line is not much better and all of our DBs took terrible angles too. TO sucks on offense and we have the worst O line in the league. We have the worst coach IN NFL HISTORY. THAT IS A STATISTICAL FACT (for HCs with at least 100 games). F*ck my life

Does anyone think he could be a long term answer there? I never really gave much weight to the "hes too short" arguement, which is why Levitre had to move inside I guess. Levitre has been a little exposed dealing with the strength of the big DTs, maybe he could be a better T than G. I got the feeling he was more comfortable there...

Levitre moved to LT to repalce an injured Bell. He was way way more impressive than any other tackled we have tried this year. His knack is that he is short but I would like to see him there the rest of the year. Thoughts?

And jsut to add for another possible QB solution. Brian Brohm from L'ville is on the Packers pratice squad. He had talent in college, dont know what happend to him since, but I bet he has more potential of becoming an NFL starter one day than Hamden has. Sign Brohm - why not?

If the Titans cut Young after the season, I want him in Buffalo. Maybe not the starter, but a sub package guy at least. I am excited to see how he does -- he beat us single handedly last time.

Having family currently coaching and winning in the NFL wont hurt. He has gotten more with less in Stanford. Gets my approval.
