I dont think Fewell has had enough time to wash the sh*t stain that is Juarons p*ssy mentaility off of this teams britches. I believe we see improvement in effort and such, but I dont think it will be enough. I think it will take a couple weeks minimum to get this football team tough again (ironically the same amount of time it takes Brian Brohm to take over the starting job). Add to that our roster kinda sucks, I think we lose still.

Cant the Bills sign him as GM now, then promote him to coach afterwards? The Bills could add front office personnel like a scout right? I thought that was allowed...not sure by anymeans.

I agree 100%. I have always liked Brohm and wanted him the moment he was placed on the PS. - I think we see him start this season. This is a great move and I cannot believe they went out and got him, I had only been posting about getting him for months. I posted about Brohm the same time they placed him and Meredith on the PS, and I suggested we get both of them....they went out and got Meredith, then Brohm...WOW. Come to think about it, I also posted many times about Nic Harris pre-draft, and how he was a beast and how he would be a perfect fit for the Bills cover 2.. Maybe the Bills are reading my posts.... PS: Hire Shannahan, or look at Harbaugh from Stanford.

Have any of you watched a UFL game? I have seen 3 of JPs, and he still sucks. Errant throws, easily sacked, fumble prone, cannot make a read, terrible. He has been terrible.

Shan likes one cut to north and south RBs, not exactly Lynchs running style. He could learn Im sure, but you may see him traded for another position starter, and a late round RB added. I love Lynch but lets be honest, RBs are easy to come by and easier to replace.

Call me crazy buy Brian Brohm is Shannahans guy. I dont think the D minded Fewell brought him in and the timing just makes sense. Prob wont be counted on to start right away, but I bet if we sign Shan before the end of the season, I bet we see Brohm starting this season.

This is an absolute great pickup. I have been posting about picking up Brohm since GB put him on their practice squad. I will take it one step further now... he will start some games near the end of the season.... is this a Shannahan move or a Fewell move?

Dont confuse mobile OL with small OL - his system gets the most out of what he has. Also I read somewheres a while back that Shannahan was doing some HW on defensive football while taking the year off, and he noticed some short comings in his philosophy. He wont be coaching the D anyways - maybe we will go 3-4 (please please please).

For the same reason Dick Lebou hasnt gotten an offensive coordinators job - Aprils expertise is special teams, Lebous is defense.

Im still waiting for the "Whitey Rule" which requires team to carry a certain number of white players on their rosters throughout training camp - they wouldnt have to make the team, they would just get an equal opportunity. Im sure if the NFL required this we would see a more equal number of white and black players....

I dont get the love fest for Schottenheimer. Everyone hated Dicks conservative play-not-to-lose style, and now you want to bring in "Marty Ball" - what gives? The over conservative "Marty Ball" does not work in the NFL - just look at his playoff record. Just say no to Schottenheimer.. I agree with the lines comments though - our team should be built liek Minn. - just dont confuse Marty with Run first and stop the run.

Who has done more with less in a shorter amount of time. His brother is also coaching in the NFL which will help no doubt. Also has his fathers brain to pick. Has done a great job developing QBs too... If its not Jim Harbaugh, the only other college coach I would like is Les Miles - LSU, he is the anti-juaron - think Rex Ryan but better. He works in a pro system too. Stoops and Leach no thanks. The HOF coaches you named are acceptable too, but I would like to go with Harbaugh, and bring in some former NFL HCs to be OC/DC.

Ill go with the 3rd string Steelers beating the then 9-6 Bills and keeping them out of the playoffs after such a steller run....

No I disagree, Byrd was a good job of scouting but no one could predict how he would pan out moving positions. Passing on Orakpo was such a moronic move there is no excuse acceptable - especially not "well we made up for it later" That is equal to saying "McCargo was not a bad pick because we took K. Williams later" 31 other teams passed on him 5 times. PS How many picks Byrd would have right now if we had a pass rusher averageing just under 1 sack per game opposite Schobel? 12+?
