"Bills RB Marshawn Lynch is not in attendance at Thursday’s voluntary team workout." Don't sweat it, Beast Mode will be ready...it is freakin' June...

duct tape will fix anything!

Brown does a good job. It is what it is when reporting on the Bills...10 years and counting with no playoffs...only so much sunshine to work with given the facts.
-
It's the City's fault only a 100 people like the Bisons? If there were more reporters, what would that make the attendance? 103?

"...according to Albert Breer of the Boston Globe, he looked "swift and agile during a cone drill, cutting and weaving in a "W" shape."

Hard to believe after he had surgery in February...

Pro Football Weekly has us dead last

If the Bills are not the team that nobody wants to face at the end of 2010 - and it is mainly because no QB on the Bills roster has stepped up, I am all for doing what it takes to get into the front of the line for the Locker/Mallet sweepstakes. -

Trent Edwards calls Jim Kelly Naive
LGB replied to Deep2Moulds46's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This appears to be a bit of frustration on Jim's part, but who cares and let's go out and win some football games! -
Well it's the off-season and there is not much to write about, but for some reason Clayton appears to not have the time or inclination to conduct much research. I agree and this is like all the cable shows on tv with so much air time to fill up..reaching for anything to fill space and coming up with little or nothing but a regurgitation of conventional wisdom.

This is no different than the weathermen. With all the technology available to conduct research...how you can be wrong more than 50% of the time and still keep your job is beyond me.

Do they rank the wonders of the world?

Don't get to Niagara Falls much, but didn't they have an Air Force Reserve Base that was slated to close? As I remember the base has miles and miles of concrete tarmacs that could provide the basis for parking if they turned it into a Sports Stadium? -
2010 NFL POWER POLL ALL 32 NFL TEAMS!!!!
LGB replied to tonyjustbcuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This seems realistic. We will likely have more than just a punter that makes the Pro-Bowl this year (e.g. Jairus Byrd) and there should be no drop off with Bruce Dehaven handling special teams. -
How many QBs can the Bills carry into the regular season? Since two or three will probably suffer blindside concussions (à la Trent Edwards) from the LT position, the Bills might actually need Orton plus one more to finish the season? Can George Wilson play QB?

Despite the big mouth....Whats your real opinion?
LGB replied to Pitta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he was picked in the 4th round, he probably would have been cut or traded by now...just like McCargo...err wait, McCargo failed his physical with the Colts which voided his trade. After standing next to Donte during a training camp break, it seemed like the the guy probably goes for maybe 180 lbs. (not much bigger than Roscoe) -
Felser: Armchair Bills analysts overdose on despair
LGB replied to RI Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not addressing the offense line has been problematic. And after watching Edwards get pummeled the lost couple of years with two knockouts, there has justifiably been much focus on LT. But, there have been problems on the other side of the ball as well. The Bills have never been able to fill the void of stopping the run ever since they lost Pat Williams. When Williams left in 2004, the Bills were 7th in defense against the run. Since then: 31st - in 2005 28th - in 2006 25th - in 2007 22nd - in 2008 30th - in 2009 Maybe switching to the 3-4 will help, but it has been clear that if you were game-planning for the Bills the last 5 years, all you had to do was run the ball. -

After Mike Malarkey, Greg Williams and Dick Jauron, what you are probably seeing is fans holding the new staff on a shorter leash. Really, after 10 years of eating bad food, is it too much to think that some patrons are ready for a new chef with a better recipe than the last three? -
Guys, this starting front-five is a disaster
LGB replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would not surprise me in the least that they are several contributors from the "organization" and why not? It is their job to put a positive spin on things and you have to give them credit. Any marketing group that can successfully sell a mediocre (at best) product year after year in a bad economy in a less than desirable market deserves some credit. If the Bills have been good at anything in the last decade, they have been great at putting fans in the stadium and expanding their limited market northward and to the east with camp at SJFC. The decision to play in Toronto was genius. The Bills pocketed a ton of money and publicity - while putting a premium on their remaining games at RWS. -

Hope springs eternal, right? I am sure that OBD can do the math on what they need to achieve to sell tickets. How many people are going to decide to wait until the Bills improve their OL and mediocre performances to buy tickets? Not many I am guessing. This isn't Jacksonville yet - where they have to cover the empty seats to achieve a sell out. Spiller is the flashy new toy this year just like TO was last year that gained media attention. There is a grace period for when new coaching staffs are hired and historically for the Bills it has been 2-3 years (Gregg Williams 2001–2003, Mike Mularkey 2004–2005, Dick Jauron 2006–2009). -
Bills, Bears headline eight teams headed for trouble in 2010
LGB replied to agardin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You don't think the Jets big splash in free agency had anything to do with them opening their almost $1.6 billion dollar New Meadowlands Stadium that is now shared 50/50 with the Giants? It is something like the most expensive stadium ever built to date (the new Yankee's stadium was only 1.5 billion). -
NFL Execs expect Gathier "traded before season"...hmmm....the season is how far off? Interesting it is not "soon" or "a trade is imminent"...and if Gathier is so good why would the Ravens not want to keep him? It looks like Oher is probably going to LT and Gathier to RT anyways...
-
Just like the Bills will not likely make a move at OT until they are sure that who that have is not going to be in their plans for this year. This will likely not be a one year fix. The Bills have all new coaches, are installing a whole new system and many veterans and rookies will not only be learning a new scheme and play book, but in some cases will be playing different positions that what they are used to. Someone might have posted all the likely changes in positions and there were more than just a couple...
-
Trent has been through the "perfect storm" of scenarios after taking too many hits (two concussions in two years), poor coaching and not much quality on the OL. Really if the all the Bills wanted to do was to throw 10 yard passes, they should have drafted more help on the lines instead of QBs and kept Kelly Holcomb.

Sign him as a TE and then convert him to LT...
