  1. If Chan and Buddy don't fire Wannestedt, it would seem that they don't care about their own jobs. Right? What competent manager allows incompetent underlings to drag them down? They don't. So, either Chan and Buddy are just collecting checks or they are not competent.
  2. So they could... Show that Rick isn't a sociopath. Extend the storyline. Create suspense.
  3. Ruben Brown told me the exact same story. He said Flutie owned the lockerroom and the o-line couldn't stand Rob Johnson.
  4. I hate pleaded. It doesn't sound right. Also, I always thought the past tense of plead was spelled plead, not pled. As a matter of fact, the spell check on this site considers pled incorrect. Now they all sound weird. ***Edit - Roads. Ro-ads. Row-ads. Rowaaaads.
  5. Interesting, but in a vacuum it's not very relevant. How does the rest of the league stack up?
  6. To everyone who is saying they wouldn't trade fred, what if we got a first round pick in return? I'd do it. And its not because he's no good. It's because we're no good.
  7. You don't understand how bookmakers determine futures odds. It's not like they take all 16 AFC teams and give them a piece of a pie. If you convert the odds to percentages they don't add up to 100%. Also, futures bets vary wildly from casino to casino and site to site. Anyway, from one optimist to another...the Buffalo Bills quit on themselves the last two weeks. Teams that quit don't make the playoffs. Thanks for playing though.
  8. Why do people talk about Ralph Wilson as though he's capable of making any type of decision, let alone the correct one? He's 94. Have you ever met a 94 year old? This organization is a rudderless ship. ***edit - I heard Ralph asked for his oatmeal hot instead of cold this morning. I guess he can make decisions. ***edit update - He burned his mouth.
  9. To the OP, this is such a non-issue. Your assertion is, at best, a giant leap. He likes a restaraunt. To the mods, please move this. Give these idiots an inch and they'll take a mile.
  10. I'm pretty sure Tempo allows you to bring your own wine and then charges you a corkage fee. Corkage fees usually range from $15 -$30 depending on the restaurant. I would call and ask. I've done this at several restaurants, but never Tempo.
  11. Out of curiosity, what kind of music? Hip hop? Country? Big Band? Gregorian Chant?
  12. Best Calamari I've ever had.
  13. While I don't think there's much to gain by dwelling on what if scenarios, it's notable that our two losses came because we handed the ball to the other team. This is why Fitz is a major liability. He is capable of making some great reads, but there are throws he just cannot make and it leads to bad things. Chan's offense deserves someone who can stretch the defense once in awhile. His play calling creates a ridiculous amount of space for our receivers and running backs. Then Ryan Picksixtrick tries to go deep and ruins it. If I were Harbough this week I'd tell all my cornerbacks, if your man goes deep just stay a few steps behind him and wait for the ball to come to you. Safeties, don't worry about providing deep help. So frustrating.
  14. This is exactly the type of unfunny, acronym ridden response that I associate with #billsmafia. Thank you for so eloquently stating my point.
  15. I love the Bills, I respect the players and I don't begrudge anyone making money by creating something and using social media to do it, but it all sounds so forced. I really do cringe when I hear it. Remarkably, I even cringe when a player uses it in a tweet. Normally, I'd love it if a player embraced a fan created movement. But, c'mon...mafia? Also, the people I saw at the home opener representing #billsmafia were so annoying about it that I actually laughed when one got knocked out cold in a pregame fight in the parking lot. I have no idea who started the #billsmafia movement, but it is being co-opted by idiots.
  16. This thing needs to go away. #billsmafia tend to be complete #douchebags.
  17. Here's how I would look at it... Beers/pub type food (good though) - Blue Monk and Colter Bay both have great selections. I've never eaten at Blue Monk, but hear good things. Wine/Drinks - Mothers, Cecelias, Sample, Tempo. Mothers is my favorite of the three. I love Tempo but it's definitely the most expensive. If you go to Tempo, I highly recommend the Colorado Ribeye. I think they call it the Mario Williams. They also make the best calamari I have ever had. Mother's has a seasonal menu. Cecelias is Italian. All of the above places put you in prime position for hitting other bars if you want. Allen is where you want to be. Avoid Chippewa unless you are between 19 and 23. Even then, it's the Jersey Shore of Buffalo so know what you are getting yourself into. If you like live, loud music in a grimy atmosphere try Nietzche's at the end of Allen. There's a ton of other places on Elmwood and Allen Street as well. Cozumel is fun and has good mexican food. Have fun.
  18. Those commercials cost about $1 a piece. You could literally afford to break up the monotony yourself.
  19. I don't doubt it. I've witnessed enough girl on girl violence at Bills' games to know that our fairer sex can be absolute pieces of trash. However, it is now New England week and it makes me feel better to picture all Pats fans' as disgusting slobs. It's easy because a lot of them are. Watching this always makes me feel better. A bunch of Boston douche nozzles getting what they deserve... http://sflchronicle....d-street-cones/
  20. There is very little I find more disgusting than the obese, red sox sweatshirt wearing, breath smelling like chowder women of the entire New England region. From Maine to Connecticut, there's not a redeeming soul among them.
  21. They are implying, correctly, that Eli looks like a muppet.
  22. RIP, Steve. NFL films help build the NFL that I know and love. Thank you.
  23. Completely illogical. I mean I can't stand Williams, but are you saying he should have kept lying? What happens if Goodell finds out the truth? Any shred of hope of getting back into the league is forever gone. At some point even liars realize it's better to tell the truth, deal with it and try to move past it. Because, as most of us learned in our early childhood, lies only compound. I love how you think Greggo should have kept lying so Vilma could keep lying. Remind me to never do business with you.
  24. I used to make my own mix, but I found so many good prepared bloody mixes that I stopped. It's not worth the effort. These are two of my favorites... Zing Zang - It's kind of hard to find around Western New York, but it's so good. I think Consumer's carried it at one point. Master of Mixes five pepper extra spicy - Can definitely be found at Consumer's. Mrs T's is too thick and bland for my taste. Also, I highly recommend finishing with a little celery salt, a celery stalk, olives and a smoke pepperoni stick of some type. Slim Jim will do in a pinch. I doubt the pepperoni is customary, but its how my father drinks them and is delicious. ***edit - blue cheese stuffed olives.
  25. I don't think it will look as good every week. We're talking about Cleveland.
