Why? If they felt he could be a franchise QB then you draft him in the 1st round.

Let's face it. The Bills aren't going to the playoffs this year. Why not tank the season, and draft Andrew Luck. We'll have our QB for the next decade. I would gradly accept another suck ass year to secure a player of his caliber.

Agreed. A LB or DE in the 2nd round made more sense than another DB given the Bills dire need whether Williams was considered a "value" pick or not

Every team in the NFL is saying that had a great dreaft and filled key positions. Wait to these guys go against NFL caliber competition and can even play in th NFL before wee make any assumptions PLEASE!!!

You had mentioned the Bills liked Von Miller alot 1-2 months ago. This was before Kiper, McShea, and Mayock had him being rated so high and being considered by the Bills. Kudos to you. You also told us about the Nix and Gailey hires before it was reported in the media. Throw us another bone man. Is it still Miller or maybe Dareus now. Are the Bills less high on Newton as I suspect? Lee Evans, AJ Green, and Stevie Johnson would be a great trio. Nelson, Easley, whatever. Those guys are nothing noteworthy.

Philly is simply a better team and it showed tonight. The Sabres had a nice turnaround to get into the playoffs but let's not kid ouselves. They are a boderline playoff caliber team. Props to them for getting in and taking it to game 7.

Mayock's opinion carries the most weight of all the draft "experts" in my opinion. I suspect Newton's stock is going to drop. I bet he doesn't get drafted until the middle to late 1st round.

Yea, McShay is trying to save face about praising the Maybin pick two years ago by saying it's a work ethic issue. It's got nothing to do with being a one year wonder, only playing because of injury, and getting most of his sacks against inferior competition. That and the fact he can't shed a block and is built like a WR.

I will never for the life of me figure out why they passed on Ngata only to trade back in the first round to draft of McCargo. Blame Donahoe, Jauron, Brandon, Nix, whoever, but the one constant in all this ineptness has been Tom Modrak.
